Love this 😊 I’ve just started painting with watercolours, so I have a great deal to learn. Tutorials like this are amazingly helpful. I’m looking forward to trying this 😊
I began informal art lessons 4 months ago and started watercolor painting 4 weeks ago. Like many beginners I am an impatient perfectionist. When your brush mistakenly hit the paper my whole body tightened. Thank you for taking it in stride and turning it into something beautiful. This video is informative, but what I really learned is that I need to breathe and relax. Thank you.
That’s right! Just breath and relax. Let the joy of painting feed your soul not stress you out. Mistakes will happen, but learning to move through them can be a very valuable learning experience. Remember, Patience is a skill that is often overlooked. Practice your patience. And throw perfectionism out the window! It’s highly overrated 😄
Oh Shana don't you just hate when that happens. Ive done that to. I loved this small painting, so pretty. I drew 3 to give to my friends. I love to follow along with you.
Thanks for watching and following along , Kathy. Dropping my brush happens more than you know. Especially when I’m recording and doing to many things at once. Good thing you all are so forgiving.
Nice. I like the drawing tips too. Ha, happy accidents! Sometimes I feel like more like a problem solver and editor than an artist when working on a piece.
Love this ! Can you PLEASE do daffodils sometime? We live in the UK, and they're everywhere in the spring. So beautiful, but having a difficult time painting. Need to learn it Shanafied.
It would depend on what kind of back ground you wanted to add. I would keep it simple with a light graduated wash that was darker around the edges and got lighter toward the middle. I would probably have put it on first and painted around the objects before painting them in. But you could also put it on after and carefully maneuver your wash around the vase and flower.
Hi Shana! I love your cobalt teal glass vase with flowers! You explain everything so well in your narration. Beautifully painted. I am hoping you will participate in the upcoming Favorite Bird Art Challenge I am hosting. You would be a great addition!

I’ll see what I can do. 😉 thanks for watching.
If you were to add a background, what and how would you do it..
(I'm super late!) TYSMM this really helps it's really easy and wish me luck because I'm going to a art contest! I hope I win!:)
