Zhangzhou City, also known as the hometown of daffodils, is located in the southern part of Fujian Province. The territory is mountainous. The terrain is generally high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The Bopingling Mountains lie across the northwest border, and the remnants of Daiyun Mountain penetrate into the northern territory. It belongs to the subtropical monsoon. It has a humid climate with mild climate and abundant rainfall. The city has a land area of 12,600 square kilometers and a sea area of 18,600 square kilometers. Ten thousand years ago in Zhangzhou City, ancestors lived and thrived on this fertile soil. In the 25th year of the First Emperor of Qin (222 BC), it was included in the central territory of Qin and belonged to Minzhong County. In the second year of Chui Gong of the Tang Dynasty (686), General Chen Yuanguang asked for permission to build Zhangzhou, and Zhangzhou Prefecture was established. Later, it was renamed Zhangzhou County, Zhangzhou Prefecture, etc. In 1949, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was changed to the Sixth Administrative Region of Fujian Province, also called Longxi Prefecture. In 1969, it was changed to Longxi District. In 1985, it was changed to Zhangzhou City. In 1985, it was listed as a national coastal economic open zone by the State Council and was one of the earliest areas in the country to implement opening up to the outside world. Zhangzhou City is the home of the Chinese women's volleyball team, the central city of the West Coast Economic Zone, the city of watches in China, and the city of hot springs in China. There are attractions such as Nanjing Tulou on the World Heritage List, Dongshan Island, Zhangzhou Binhai Volcanic National Geological Park, Yundong Rock and other attractions.

The ratio of the three industries is 10.5:47.0 :42.5. The annual per capita GDP was 113,087 yuan.

I’ll say it is pretty impressive when any country can build cities on mountainous terrain, even if Zhangzhou isn’t completely mountainous itself all the way through. I also find the greenery in Chinese cities impressive, sad we don’t got much greenery here in the cities in the states.
