They have equal skill levels (yes they do, if your his fan you are biased and won't want to admit it, but the fact is that they do, Kelly just uses more filler words so it sounds like he's doing more when he really isn't). The difference is macklemore is trying to be fun and whimsicle.I'm not a fan of either, but I can appreciate some humor put in to make up for lesser skill. MGKs issue is that he's trying to hard to run above his skill level so he's missing all of the solidity you develop when you learn the mid range techniques.

I like macklemore a lot more and I've been into rap heavy since the days of the mighty Pac. They have equal skill levels (yes they do, if your his fan you are biased and won't want to admit it, but the fact is that they do, Kelly just uses more filler words so it sounds like he's doing more when he really isn't). The difference is macklemore is trying to be fun and whimsicle.I'm not a fan of either, but I can appreciate some humor put in to make up for lesser skill. MGKs issue is that he's trying to hard to run above his skill level so he's missing all of the solidity you develop when you learn the mid range techniques.
