This game really grabbed me by the balls. I've never felt that empty after finishing it... I got so attached to my V (female) and to Judy, Johnny, and others. As if they were real... This game will impact me for a while.
I just want to thank Mike Pondsmith, the band Refused, and the devs at CD Project Red for this incredible dark adventure. This is what role playing games should feel like: breathtaking masterpieces of art.
Something to cheer you guys up : if you chose the Nomad ending, then it's implied through Misty's tarot reading that V will somehow find a way to cure his condition.
She drew The Chariot, The Lovers, and The Sun, and here's what the cards stand for :
The Chariot is success, it means one will overcome whatever obstacle life throws at him or whatever task needs to be done. V's one and only task is to find a way to save himself, even Panam brings up her contacts and how she's going to try and see if any of them can help V, and this card seems to indicate this will prove successful.
The Lovers is love in all and any of its forms, whether it's romantic or family. It could stand for Panam, Judy, and/or the Aldecaldos as a family.
The Sun is insurance that after whatever there is to be done is done, there will be no more hurdles to overcome. Basically a bright future full of happiness and free of danger, it's the light that casts away the shadows. It probably stands for the happiness and relief brought by the fact that V somehow beat his condition and will live.
Considering how accurate Misty is with every reading she makes in the endings (she even got closer than anyone to the conclusion that V surrendered his body to Johnny) I think this is solid evidence that V lives if he leaves with the Aldecaldos.
And lets not forget the Sun card is the BEST card symbolically speaking in the ENTIRE tarot deck. You get that card in the future tense position it may be bumpy, it may be difficult, you may even have some loss, but it in the end will be alright.
This helped with my post game depression so thanks for that! I’m hoping future dlc will give us some closure because all the endings have left me feeling empty.
Ayeee, i’m happy i switched to nomad at the end then
Soo I finished the game yesterday and was both super happy because I got the ending which I consider the best, but also sad because it felt super bittersweet. What Misty said during the credits did sound ensuring, but now reading the exact meaning of these cards again hits so so different. Thank you so much for this, I'm getting a bit teary-eyed right now, in a happy way!
Waait doesn't the chariot mean the following? :(
"“This Chariot is always charging ahead despite being pulled by its steeds in opposite directions. The rider who steers it constantly reins in the light and dark sides of the soul with the help of Reason. To ride in The Chariot is to experience highs and lows - ups and downs.”
Despite all the hate this game is getting. i really hope it does well cause i want more. i love the game. story. universe. just everything about the game. sure it has is problems but what game doesn't.

Bugs aside, I think we can all agree that this game is a fucking masterpiece. The soundtracks and the story resonance so well with each other and the story itself is breathtaking, the endings left me emotional and empty and I've done multiple playthrough and get all of the endings. Even the bad endings is powerful and impactful and were done well to conclude the journey of V and Johnny. I'm playing this on base ps4 and I still get to enjoy it, just imagine if the game isn't half-assed. But at the end of the day we ourselves are partly to blame for cyberpunk's messy launch because we couldn't be more patient for the game's release. Remember when ya'll were sending death threats to the devs at cdpr for delaying the game and threatening them to release the game sooner? Look how that turned out
_"the story itself is breathtaking"_

This. For one, I'm very happy with what we received in this game. Is it perfect, no. Does it run 100% smoothly, no. Can it be better, definitely.
But does it make you feel connected to the characters in a way that very few games have done before? YES 100% YES. This game is a masterpiece and I really hate how some people keep nitpicking on features that were not confirmed or were scrapped in game development.
How and when has an open world game released without bugs anyway? Consider that Cyberpunk was made in the middle of a pandemic too.
Hope its just the beginning for CDPR. Well written storyline.

Well the game does have replayability. You could start on very hard if you didnt the first time. Its actually a fun difficulty, not frustrating at all, you just have to respect the mechanics a bit more. Try a different build, my second plathrough i went full netrunner/stealth, very fun. Also there is a big difference between a male and female V, with different dialog and romance options.
The storyline is way better in CP2077 than in Witcher. Going to finish it for the third time. I love this game. I forgive them all the bugs!
The story is not better than the witcher 3. Not in a million years.
@@Danger-cp9hp I disagree, but respect your opinion
From 01:30 probably the best piece of music in a game yet, fitting so well with those credtis. Screw the bugs and negativity. This game is just pure art.
It's been months since I finished the game, but I listen to this song and the tears just start welling up.
What a thing of beauty this song will never fade away🙂💯🔥
Its sad that Cyberpunk game is stained by its buggy and unpolished debut when its story is so good. The writing alone is phenomenal (from the main story, to the gigs, to even some of the smallest unknown jobs). Missions that tend to feel repetitive and chore like in other games are treated very unique, with many having unexpected twists, expansions and wild outcomes. It made the world feel real.
It need afew more years to live upto the trailers CDPR released. DLC coming next year wont patch the holes the game has sadly.
Finished the main story yesterday, this game is more than just a "game", this is a real experience. It describes very well the real world we are living in, and it's future. And it let something precious in my mind, the choices have consequences, and we are the only ones that can choose our life, people shouldn't interfere, trying to take our FREEDOM of choices. Silverhand was not a friend for me, this was my perception. He tried to realize it's own vengeance using me as a tool. Corpos used me too. Few people will not use you as a tool, they are your friends, and they are those who let you decide how you live your life. Freedom is more important than life itself, because if you are not free, you are not living your life. You are dead. If you let people choose the way you live, the way you take care of yourself and your future, you will live the consequences of THEIR choices, and you will face dark consequences, while they don't lose anything.
Story of this game is beyond every hollywood movie so far
Never have I loved and hated characters in any videogame before this one, i still remember snapping when a extremely dark moment happened to a nice character that i liked, just letting loose with a blade in a brothel, civilians and gangsters dropping to the floor one by one has i cut through them trying to get to the one who wronged her. It gets really heated real fast. The majority of the time, the bugs are only visual, so for me, it doesnt remove the feeling that the characters express and that just adds to the story that i enjoy.
The technical performance, the features, the hype, can all be argued to not have delivered. But haven't heard one complaint about the music.
After some good 110 hours
I cried like a f*cking baby at the end with Panam
I initially thought V becoming a legend was important, but I was wrong. It was Jackie's dream but not V's. Not really anyway. She wanted to be something but never was specific about it (obviously devs wanted V to be player guided). In the end, I wanted V to find her place in the world, and ultimately outside this cursed city. My V went through hell but met great people that she can call family, and that is all that matters. She leaves with someone she loves (judy) and she stays with V only in the ending where they leave the city, with good friends like panam and etc. with some hope that V might find a way to survive through this. It also felt really empty and pointless as V stays at night city where most of her friends are either dead or left the city.
I loved the game but expected V to be more player guided. You didn't really have a say in who are your friends and your enemies. No matter what lifepath you pick you end up a street kid, the game sent you on a set path that only really branches out at the very end (which is not really a problem to me but it wasn't in line with how CDPR first described the vision of the game). "The Star/All Along the Watchtower" which is the closest to a happy ending is tailored for male V who romanced Panam. Although it would take a lot of work there should IMO have been similar endings for all central characters. What if you had the option to take on Arasaka with Judy and the Mox, River and his family (or maybe defectors from the NCPD) or Kerry and the Samurai members.
@@Samuel-th6fw Agreed, but they had years of development time and it was still unfinished mess. I doubt they can come up with more endings in time lol
We did the same ending. Judy's questline is really well built for relationship development. Female V's voice actress is amazing and the Nomad Ending is the best one in my opinion.
That haunting guitar riff fading in gets my hairs on end every time
I'm about to join Hanako Arasaka in the fancy bar and before even seeing the spoiler-ass comments I feel the weight of what is coming. I'm not sure I want this story to end, its been fucking beautiful. Like literal tears in the eyes moments kind of beautiful.
I walked into this game a little over 3 days ago expecting a buggy shit storm and instead was greeted by a world I liked, with characters I got really attached to.
Thanks CDPR. I've enjoyed games, but I had some genuine moments with this one that I think will stick with me a while.
when you reach the end of the game this song will get you emotional... if you havent got there yet... you will see! its such a great piece and really fits well
Favourite game kicks arse
"I'm just scared for you, V"
Spoilers:
The Suicide Ending hits the hardest
"There is another Option y'know..."
"Not how I woulda done it, But that's alright."
"Been nice workin' with ya V..."
"Yeah... With you too Johnny."
Those ending messages just broke me, Panam's anger, Judy's Depression, Vik's regret, Kerry's Remorse, and River's understanding. It was just too much.
Big sad ending
Back one year later... Still blasting this magnificent song at full volume after completing yet another playthrough.
God how I love this game 😍
This song is really breathe taking!!!
Best story in RPG game ... Well Done .......
Everyone: “Game is buggy and sucks”
Then there’s me.. fan girling over every detail and amazing piece of music..
I'm fanboying over everything in this game lol
I literally bought Neuromancer because of it
People are just following blind hate and cant think by themselves
Many game soundtracks give me goosebumps on my arms, this gives me shivers through my core. Honestly so good.
*Sees Judy*
***FURIOUSLY CLICKS SONG***
Judy is best girl, no competition
Panam?
@@SuperMurray2009 okay, there is one competition... BUT imo, I really loved Judy more even though Panam was nice
@@SuperMurray2009 Song works for both though if you think of like perfect scenes with them that goes with the song
@@theicequeen32 Yeah I couldn't get Judy because I'm a male
@@SuperMurray2009 both are beautiful in both personality and looks ^-^
ngl... I cried like a baby
If you take away all the bugs in this game deserves to be in a art museum
I don't know how many hours I've put in, but I did every single side quest before the final mission except for turning in Skippy, I'll never give him away. When the credits rolled I was very emotional and felt the bittersweet tone that comes with acceptance (I got the Star ending for context). I think it was the emotion that came with it, but now I can't stop thinking of this song when in the trailer I thought it was pretty... basic? I guess giving context to a song's otherwise normal lyrics can change everything.
One of the best games I've ever played
I've finally reached the stage of grief that allows me to listen to this song without crying. I watched the trailer that includes this song after playing the game and I BAWLED but now I'm fine.
this song hits hard when you finish the game.
Damn, listening to this on Valentine’s Day hit a lot harder than I expected.
My first 2 endings were "Arasaka" and "On my own terms". Had me cryin man...
Completed it for the 4th time today, while sucking everything out of my new RTX3080...
Sincerely the best €900 I've ever spent, and yet again this game left me CRYING at the end...
I FUCKING LOVE YOU FOR MAKING THIS, CD PROJECT RED! 🥰😘
Don't ever let critics get you down, you fucking rock! ♥
So good, so sad.
After 2 Years this Game Still Slappin and this SONG i played my 4th Playthrough and it Slapps 👌👌❤❤
Me+Cyberpunk=Life❤️
My first ending was taking Arasaka's deal, thinking I'd get to go say goodbye to people first, after that ending and this rolling with the credits, my heart hasn't cried like that in ages
While this game was buggy to the point where even Skyrim would blush, I cant fault the story. I love the message, we can never escape death. The moral is no matter the length of the time of you have on this Earth, its what you do while you are alive that counts. We don't live forever and everything that isn't in our control is indifferent. As long as we die happy and fulfilled, thats all that matters.
everytime the song starts, i start to cry. fking amazing story and characters
I’m a simple man, I see a Judy photo and enter the video
Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece. Despite the bugs. The story is the best ever i have expirienced.
This song is a thing of beauty
It sounds stupid, but this song really hurts my mentality
not stupid you feel the game . you love good storys
you are right, that does sound stupid.
@@TheConst4nt i am feel to the story is very emotionel and very good GOTY for me ^^ i have know 120h playtime and i through with this game since 4 Days but The World and memories in this Game are great ^^
I think I got the "bad" ending on my first playthrough and almost cried during this song though I'm not really an emotional type
The music tells the story
Шедевральная игра кто бы что ни говорил.
This song goes great with beer and neon lights
See you in the Major League...
One of the best games ever!!!!!!
just seeing judy hurts me man..damn it...i got the glory ending..
No matter the ending you still wanna cry. Either of sadness and depression, or a sad happy ending.
