Shenandoah River State Park Campground Review

Shenandoah River State Park in Bentonville, Virginia has a wonderful campground with 32 water & electric RV sites as well as cabins, yurts, and tent sites. The campground is located just minutes from the river and the park's famed Bluebell trail. There are 24 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horse back riding. Another bonus to this state park is its proximity to Shenandoah National Park. It is only a 10 minute drive to the Northern entrance station for the park.

Hi guys - Deb's sister lives just outside of Charlottesville, VA in Earlysville - We got to do a hike in Shenandoah and stopped at Veritas Winery after about 4 years ago. Charlottesville is a nice city. We have not been able to spend much time there, but we are going to head out there later this month to do some more exploring.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I don't recall seeing a boat launch from the campground. There is one I'm sure of in the park, but you'd have to drive to it.
