    Looks great, can't wait to see the next video! I just started my first teardown last week--the amount of degradation from rust is unbelievable but I'll be following exactly what you did. 🙂

    Question for you. I am doing a horse trailer conversion. I envy your hand sanding...I am going to sandblast it. Should I put the bondo on after the sandblast ?

      Ideally you should prime the trailer prior to applying bondo. A few small bare metal spots are OK as long as they are rust free.

    Would you recommend using a epoxy primer for this job ?

    • @WetCoastWorkshop
      @WetCoastWorkshop  6 місяців тому

      Yes, epoxy primer is ideal, and to be honest, I wish I would have gone with epoxy primer and paint instead of Alkyd, the Alkyd paint is very soft and difficult to clean.

      Good to know. I am sticking with epoxy primer then. @@WetCoastWorkshop

    The side walls of the trailer is it steel or aluminum?

    • @WetCoastWorkshop
      @WetCoastWorkshop  5 місяців тому

      It's 11ga steel

      @@WetCoastWorkshop thank you! I am doing the exact thing you are in Ontario, if you have any advice, would be greatly appreciated!

      @@pedrog1580 I would recommend avoiding the Alkyd primer and paint, I'm not happy with the final result, it's soft and hard to keep clean. Go with an epoxy primer and then your choice of automotive topcoat. Also, if it's in your budget, get one of the pre-fabbed concession windows for food trucks, much easier to weatherseal than making your own custom one!
