I am confused about existing fusebox and relays. For example - the radiator fan relay wire goes to the fusebox right? Where would i connect my FT ecu wire for that?
getting this for my 2zz GTS, thank you for the review ! 2 questions , since you touched the screen to start, how would you prevent theft ? 2. could boost be shown on the screen while you drive ?
The key has to be in the ignition and you have to power on the car first (before pressing the start button on the screen). When you connect your laptop to the ECU, you can arrange the screen layout however you like and choose the info you want to see or hide.
@@DeanBKK basically, as i understand, the key has to be in the ignition to turn on the BCM which further turns on the FT550. The immobilizer is no longer paired to the stock ECU.
I'm just wondering are you in the Tampa Bay Area Florida cuz I have IS300 with the fuel Tech 450 ECU that I need to get wiring done to my car do you do that if you do my phone number is 813-403-9759 or my Instagram is Oliver 297 let me know thank you
I live in khon kaen, i have a 1997 Corolla AE111 that has a 4afe engine, its fuel injected and im interested to buy the ft450, install it in my car and replace the old stock Toyota ECU. all i want is to see live data like checking the average fuel consumption. i don't have any intention of tuning to a performance car, i wanna keep the car stock. can i do it? also i plan to keep the old sensors and connect it to the FT450.
@ it is expensive am I correct? Ohh also after installing the FT450 do I have to tune or change any settings. I plan to keep the car to factory stock settings.
Yea a lot of people keep the stock gauge cluster and have the ECU mounted in the glove box or somewhere else. I took mine out bc the speedo wasn't working and I just wasn't a fan of the old gauge cluster.
Hey Dean could you pass me the details where you got the FT550 from and who can map it in Thailand or fit it? Recently moved to Thailand and have an Evo and considering switching my link plug and play for this fuel tech ft550
Sure mate, my tuners name is "Koch" and you can reach out to him on Facebook (Kochakong Rerknitee). I also suggest you join the Facebook group "Expat Car Club Thailand (ECC)"
Thanks Dean, totally new to car scene here in Thailand so every bit helps. Hopefully car meets start up again soon. I’m up in Phitsanulok but plan to travel around when I can for car shows, you got your contact for wiring guy? Is he willing to travel?
Thanks for the update on your car. Rainy season is almost over now.
Best car channel in Thailand!!

Ill get a tuner car in 2021, your vids are inspiring!
Nice man, go for it!
Very informative video Dean.. Waiting to see more video on this Cefiro. Been following since the RB20 days till the 2jz.. very inspiring
Appreciate your support man!
thes best, have u seen ft700 plus?
Yes sir that new FT700 is sick! Insanely expensive but if you can afford it, go for it! For my needs and a street car, I think it's a bit overkill.

You can also disconnect the screen and stick it in your pocket

Sick. Been looking for an ecu for my new 2j build. Definitely getting this. Cheers bro sick car
Nice mate let's see some videos of your build! 👌
Great info thanks. I’m looking into fuel tech and Holley for my swap if I don’t decide to keep my factory ECM and use HP Tuners for my turbo LS swap.
Hey man can you do a video on all your mods and a cost breakdown of the car if possible? It would be really interesting to know. Thanks bro
Yea man, I'll get around to that video hopefully soon 👌

Yeah, you should be able to. Confirm with Fueltech to be sure.

Fueltech the best😎
Thanks so much for this helpful review ,, keep going ,, I'm a fan of yours 😍🌹
Hi Dean, with your ECU, could you use the stock gauge cluster if you wanted to? Or would it be a headache to hook up the old school analog dash?
Yea a lot of people keep the stock gauge cluster and have the ECU mounted in the glove box or somewhere else. I took mine out bc the speedo wasn't working and I just wasn't a fan of the old gauge cluster.
Hey bro cool car. Can u give me a list of the sensors?
I already did and replied to your comment. Then you deleted it, and are asking it again lol
@@DeanBKK sorry I didn’t delete it it’s another video I just found it thanks bro !

@@Boostedbychris no man they work in Bangkok only
In order to make speed work on it is it by gps or a oem speed sensor
OEM speed sensor
wow dude what is your bodykit ???? pls idk what that bodykit
It's the TBO3 kit, which I believe is made locally in Thailand only.
@@DeanBKK thx man
Could you reach out to me I have some questions on how your ft550 is set up .
My tuner handles all of the setup and details.
How did u wire up the indicators and what wires dis u use
Not sure my wiring guy did it, not me. But you can use OEM body wiring most likely.
@@DeanBKK ok cause im using the same ecu for my r32 gtr
you have to wire each indicator wire to an white input wire. Then set it up in the software, inputs section
@@Dasunny1 thanks buddy
Fueltech ftw!!!!!! LOL. ****FT550 SR20DET b13****
hey bro what wiring harness did u use di u have to use theirs ?
My harness is custom by my wiring guy here in Thailand. He's a beast.
@@DeanBKK aaah ok bro ur lucky I’ll see if wiring specialties can help
Looks good bud! Btw i am currently building one as well but with an RB25DET Neo, is there any shop that does one piece drive shaft in Thailand?
I'm sure there are shops that can do it. But I don't know where specifically.
@@DeanBKK Thanks bud, i been searching as well but it's mostly in Thai. Btw love your build dude!
Can you modify my Lancer Ex
I cannot but there are many shops in BKK that work on Evo's and Lancer's
Why not maxxecu..... 5555555...... In Malaysia maxxecu n hks fcon becoming crazy....
I don't want Maxx ECU. And Fcon is trash.
nice car
Thank you!
@@DeanBKK done subscribe👍🏿
What’s up with the the TPS ?
May I know where you see an issue? What second mark?
Well, i would say its basic ECU, id rather reccomend ECU Master with android dash, much more functional
It's far from basic. ECU Master is your preference. Doesnt make it better than FuelTech, and vice versa. 😂
@@DeanBKK Ah yea, i just decided to read full info about this ecu, you where right, its not basic
