Graham taught him the different styles of country music, and with that knowledge he wrote the music to this one. Keith was pretty proud and sent him a copy of the recording. Graham then asked for permission to record a version for his album, which came out before the Stones’ released “Wild Horses” on Sticky Fingers in 1971.

Doesn’t get better than this. Instant flashback to 1994. My dream of seeing the Stones live finally came true. Winnipeg Canada on a beautiful hot summer night in an open air stadium. Both the band and the crowd electric. Joints passing up and down the isle, ankle deep in booze bottles. I was 8 months pregnant with my second child (no I did not partake in drugs/booze) I was anticipating this song. I was up in the nosebleed section and had to make a few trips to the bathrooms. Of course this song played during one of these trip😂🤣. A great night, a fantastic memory. My daughter was born a few weeks later and oddly enough she had a strawberry birthmark on the top of her left wrist in the shape of a lipstick kiss 💋. Thanks for the awesome video of this live performance ❤
