I’m a wee Glasgow boy who’s been in America for 15 years now. Thank you so much for this video! You both are brilliant and instilled some memories and nostalgia that I haven’t experienced since living in my home city. You totally grasp the essence of the city in your fantastic and original Manchester way! Much appreciated!
Legit that’s the wan hing al agree wae , some bangin Indian places in Glasgow … but the people nowadays are fuckin wallopers , ad rather everycunt growlin at ye n askin “where ye fae “ like the 90s and 00s 😂😂😂
Was still bad in the 2000s but the problems have gone out of the city for the vast majority, Glasgow's problems are now just further out in the suburbs but much of the old schemes have been torn down, those people have either died, gone to prison or moved away by now so the city is a different place to what it used to be.
Glasgow no longer has a reputation of being rough. And to say its not a tourist city is a bit misleading as its the 6th most visited place in the UK. I guess you found out why so many people love the place.
Totally agree! Glasgow being known as the roughest city is pretty outdated information! It’s been know for a long time that Glasgow did a massive turnaround! That said - from a tourist destination perspective I do agree that the tourists generally still flock to Edinburgh!
Class video. As a Glaswegian, I'm happy you enjoyed your visit here! Some of these places I've never been to, despite living here my whole life but I defo will be trying them out as soon as possible!
Honestly I watch a tonne load of food and travel channels and yours has be my favourite. Love the energy between you two. Sarah’s wicked and you’re a proper geezer. Keep it up guys!!!!!
I love Glasgow. Unfortunately the last time I was there I got quite ill and ended up in hospital in a bed next to a smack dealer who shat himself every day.
Literally about to pull into Glasgow Central on the train. This video could NOT have been timed better 😂 cannot wait to check out some of your recommendations 🤤
Love how you really enjoyed the food. Glasgow is a wonderful city, I was born here and have lived the vast majority of my life. Its a very special city and I'm so glad you both enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing x
The best places to go are the underrated places, Dublin?, do Belfast instead, Edinburgh?, try Glasgow, nothing against Dublin or Edinburgh as they're great, but it's the unheralded and overlooked places where you'll have the best time.
Love a mortons roll with tattie scone and fried egg. I lived in England for a wee while when I was younger, I had my mum bring me down square sausage, tattie scones, plain bread and irn bru. The comforts of home hit the spot when you were feeling homesick
I’m so glad u both cases & seen Glasgow for what it really is I live 15 minutes outside Glasgow iv got to say I feel more at home in the city cantre as uv seen there is so much to see so many pubs & great places to eat & everyone is so friendly it is rough & ready but I love that about it this was a great vlog guys
As a Glaswegian I’m honoured that you came and loved your time here. Glad a few of my favourite places got the only scrans seal of approval hope to see you back (loved the memory of McEwens sponsoring the rangers kit too)
Loved watching this and also your Edinburgh video. 👍 I’m originally from Glasgow and now living in Edinburgh. Two great cities. Being a Rangers fan I’m through in Glasgow every other week for the football so never feel like I’m missing out! Great channel. 👍
Have only lived in one other place outside Dublin, it was Glasgow. Was an awful depressing kip in early 00's, excellent Indian food and good clubs mind you.
Absolute quality guide to one of the most underrated cities in Europe. Im originally from the east coast of Scotland and would regularly visit Glasgow for nights out. Really friendly people ( if your good with them, they will be good with you.. don't go the other way though ). Brilliant bars and food. I urge anyone whos not been to give Glasgow a visit... It wont let you down ❤👍
Great vid. Recognise a lot of places I frequent! Tophski's is the southside branch of another great foodie place, Lunch, in another part of Glasgow where I live & it's also really popular. Also totally agree with you on Paesano!
Mate you guys can do some eating man 😮 great video of my hometown, I’ve not even been to some of these places 😮 I’ll get in to them now but, hope yous enjoyed Glasgow 😊
Love the video and glad you enjoyed your stay in Glasgow. Im a Glaswegian and there's a few places here I've never tried which I will definitely be heading too after seeing the reviews.
I love seeing vids like this cause honestly, even after living here for my whole life, I still haven't ventured many of the places. Will deffo have to go try some with friends!
The Pot Still on Hope Street in the City Centre, followed by The Ben Nevis & The Park Bar on Dumbarton Rd (West End) are probably the Three best Whisky bar's in the whole of Scotland (in that order). I have to also agree with you on the University Cafe on Byres Road (Hillhead). A Glasgow institution for Ice Cream in the summer, and the vibe is vintage in an exceptional way. The decor hasn't changed for decades & the food is what you would expect in a cafe of yester-year, but still tastes amazing.
Just watched this video mate and it’s absolutely brilliant👏🏻👏🏻 I’m from near Edinburgh but Glasgow food and pubs are second to none🍺 glad you both enjoyed it 😀👍🏻
I’ve never in my life seen people that could eat as much as you two. I have lived in America 50yrs and thought Americans could eat but you two took the prize.
This is a belter guys. And the effort to smash all the food is 1st class p.s that butter chicken looked insanely good. Been to Glasgow and it's a class City
Great video, Coia's is underrated, I have reviewed the breakfast and the pizza and they were great a bit pricey but delicious. Next time you are in Glasgow you need to try Mesa, its on the same road as Coia's 🙂
Great video buddy, respect to you and your mrs. However, like lots of others, totally in awe regards how you both put it all away. Thanks again for visiting my home city.
We get like 80% of all Springbank made allocated to North America. It's crazy. It's easier to get it here than the own country where it's made. Bangin' video as usual.
Love your travel videos. You both travel the way I do. Food and drinks are King. Based on your recommendations Im heading to Budapest this summer. And literally took your Copenhagen recommendations to heart. Love Spunk Bar and shout out to Henryk and Andres. Keep the videos coming we love Sarah and let’s go Glasgow next❤❤❤
Coias for breakfast and a pint. Total legend!! Some classic boozers visited here, but McEwans is, was and always will be rank. Amazing video, welcome tae Glesga bigman
Next time try some Scottish scoff in Fanny Trollope’s Café or Roastit Bubbly Jock’s. And what was the name of the place where they were dancing? Also, I’m staying in the Football Hotel at Old Trafford next month, where should I go for a good feed?
Just stumbled on this vid gave it a click, watched and instantly subbed well done, now all I need to do is go watch all the other 1s, keep it up great content
Come over to the US! Philadelphia is one of my favorite food cities in America. I lived there for a year and it felt like home as it’s so similar to Glasgow.
Guys, just want to say a massive thank you for all your hard work and efforts creating great vlogs , your style is very watchable, love the down to earth no nonsense content, love you to do a Somerset vlog so I could buy you a pint or three
Ahhhh sound, no shade thrown, just couldn’t believe the sheer volume of food. Keep up the good work guys and if you’re in our neck of the woods, give us a shout. We’re Meats And Cheats. It would be awesome to smash some pints and talk United.
Paesano over rated man, it's good, but nothing special... Tonino's in Greenock blows it out the water man. Hands down the best pizza I've ate in my life is the Meganangelo from Tonino's (minus the mascarapone) owft! 👌
Brilliant video. Thanks for biggin up my city. Been to some of these places but others I’m definitely going to try (tophskis, thunder cats and holly fook) but I can’t believe you didn’t love paesano. I’ve been around the world a bit and I’ve never had a better pizza ( sparro in New York was a close second) and I have Italian friends who also say it’s the best they ever had. Maybe you just got unlucky, I dunno.
To be fair to the guy he just put away a fair bit from thundercats. You leave that joint ready to burst and he’s still have the pizza a bash but he’s been to filled up to really enjoy it
@0nlyscrans Brilliant, Look forward to it. We are a very welcoming city you's have probably been before. Plenty of boozers lol Keep up the great content 🫡

When you were at the Hootenany bar you missed the massive Billy Connolly mural on the back of the building.
Loved the vid guys, but level with me….does all that food go in you or do you leave some/take it away?
We always take some away and make sure we give it to a homeless person so it’s not wasted

What a guide - need to try a few of these gaffs out - quality video as per
Half of Glasgow is about to turn on you mate for not liking Peasanos 😂

I usually like that style of pizza too. This one was just really undercooked sadly
Have you been there recently? It used to be good but sadly it's far from the best in the city now, never mind the world.
We stopped off there on our way to Edinburgh and had a few hours we wished we stopped the night. Deffo going back.
Great video again btw
Love your reviews and the fact your a MU fan even better 👏👏
Wisny expecting to see thundercats … one of the best , got a delivery from there last night lol
Glad you had an amazing time.

Great video, so many of ur clients come to Scotland and don't even give Glasgow any consideration to visit. well done :)
