Are you confirming your db2? So on block you exit stance, on hit follow up string. I'm having trouble getting people to respect back turned

1+2 in back turned might solve the respect problem. Or parry
sometimes you gotta go for it even on block you have to take some risks with raven. Don’t want to do the same thing repeatedly you will get punished
Yeah I find in lower levels nobody respects anything. Have to go hard for a minute yo stop them from pressing so much

I’ve been maining Raven for about 4 years now (pretty casually these days with work) but I always feel like many of the the combos I’ve developed over the years aren’t optimal. I watch your clips and I feel like I’m using the character all wrong 😂😂😂

What is the move at 06:45? Been looking for it and coming up empty. It looks like Steve attacks the clone and then raven dive kicks him. Edit: Nvm it's BB2, had no idea that move did that on parry :o

I wish t8 had "show recovery frames" like t7 had in practice mode where youre blue during a move. Hitting qcf12 after ff3 in a combo seems almost impossible, especially online. That alone needs a vid of its own 😂. Love the vids❤

@@imb__ yeah I dont think tekken 8 has the tekken 7 recovery frame animation setting where you turn blue during active frames and turn back normal when you recover from them

Bro I picked up Raven like a week ago and I LOVE HIM. My issues are pretty simple. Catching people in launchers and falling to heavy into the basics. Pendulum kick is my most over used move. Any advice?
my advice would be to keep doing what’s working and stop doing what’s not. It’s simple, watch your replays and see what’s not working, stop doing it and do something else. Ravens move list is so big that you can do stuff like that

Us Ravens salute 🫡 What do you think of Ravens heat smash by the way? I find it whiffs randomly, where the rest of the casts heat smashes have absurd tracking. It's range is rather ambiguous too due to the clone projectile. Reinas heat smash reaches further!! I do like that it ducks low though, for some cheeky high crushes.
It's linear but the range is great so trade off!

I’ve been practicing the input for iWS1, but don’t know when to throw it out, usually gets blocked where as you land it often, any specific situation I should use it or just throw it out every now and then?
i’m using it for whiff punishment mainly that’s why, but if you want to force a 50/50 use it in full crouch in their face. It’s just a guess 😂😂

@@kenseikc yh the reina player was on 4 rollback frames at one point, it’s not the netcode it’s people’s PC not handling T8 very well. They need to turn the settings down and use DLSS Performance
