Economy Class is comfortable, with a 10-1 inch personal entertainment screen. Menus are distributed before the dinner service, and there's a choice of Filipino or Western cuisine, served with a choice of drink (including alcoholic drinks). This flight is delayed during departure due to heavy traffic issues after missing the original take-off slot.

I don't see the cabin crew as unhappy. They look focused to get their job done. Cabin crew has a schedule to follow.
9 hour flight, 1 amenity kits, 1 blanket, 1 pillow, 2 hot meals plus 1 hot snack, menu in economy class(bonus). Even qatar Airways 9 hour flight don't provide 2 hot meal plus 1 hot snack. PAL really did a good job! And, good video as always

Kelan lang po nag start na hindi nag provide na 2 hotmeal ang qatar airways ng 9 hour flight kasi for the past 5 years until last december 2018 2 hot meal padin sineserve nila.from doha to manila ehh?

Since I’ve been back and forth with PAL from HNL to MNL vise versa, the PR100 on board WiFi rarely works. If you’re lucky it works, if not good luck. Did they fix the WiFi issue?

Phillipine airline should have another boieng 747 or a new Airbus a320
747 is too costly to operate they replaced with Airbus 350

Were the crew unhappy onboard? They seemed tired.
Well they weren't unhappy but they might have been tired. I guess it was a completely full flight, plus an overnight red-eye flight, plus it was delayed by 2 hours during the departure. Have a nice weekend! - FlightTravels
The traffic at Manila Airport is appalling. Most flights are delayed out of there.
I’m surprised that there are Mandarin announcements. Are there lots of non-Filipinos onboard? The FA making Mandarin announcements speaks like a grade school student. The one speaking English on the other hand, not sure if a guy or a girl. Great report btw!
I think the Mandarin announcements were pre recorded as it sounded like they were being read from a script

Jan ako sumakay pr 100 Phil.airlines.. I felt so good very much and comfortable..thanks Phil.airlines for a good service.. It’s been a year when I flew from Phil.to US..i really miss it..
That meal at 6:15 can be ordered at Aristocrat restaurant with branches in Manila and nearby cities. It was also offered as a meal choice on our flight to Hong Kong last November 2017 but too bad and they ran out of it and we were only left with the pork with noodles.
I hope Philippine Airlines will upload a flight from Orlando to Manila.

Economy No!
It’s a shame doesn’t provide the tri-class product across all it’s long haul routes. Especially if you’re flying from YVR, SFO, or LAX. The A350 gives occasional visits to the west coast and the 777 product in the safety video is only on 4 of the 10 PAL 777’s.

I was on PAL PR100 HNL-MNL in 2016 and had no IFE hopefully next time I go it has it 🙏🏽

Long time ago, I flew PR in 1992 (FRA-BKK-AUH-FRA) and in 2009 MNL-TAG and I have the impression, that PR is a lot better than in the past!?
Unfortunately they are not flying to/from Europe, right?
