I think that Starship put many trainees who are going to debute soon in GITM performances, because the blonde dancer is really beautiful... Otherwise the performance is amazing as usually :)
no... the song played in the background is for hyolyn too...its just that her voice is so powerful and an exceptionally wonderful musician that its rare for you too hear it. the other members sing live to 100% unless of some other discomfort their having. and shes holding a mircrophone for conventional purposes, hyolyn doesnt do a dance that requires both hands.

It's never 100% live. Maybe if you go to a solo concert there will be songs that an artist sings 100% live, but on music programs there is always a backuptrack that they sing with. In this video in particular I noticed Hyorin sang a lot less than she usually does, and when she did sing her voice sounded very tired. I hope she gets to rest it sometime soon! Too much working it isn't good for you!
The other girls are require to use their hands in their solo bits, making it impossible to have hand held mics. Soyu has to do the dance choreo with a partner, Dasom has to hold the cane & top hat, & Bora needs a free hand for the glitter.
I can't help thinking that hyorin looks too skinny these days. Like it's making her facial features look too sharp. I think she looked a lot better when she had a bit of meat on her. :-/
