#ZinoAceProRangeTest
Im happy to see this video, as I've heard of many people having issues with flying far away with the Hubsan Ace Pro. Here in America its the EXO Blackhawk 2, and saw reviews of the drone losing connection at 1800 feet. I bought a Blackhawk 2 and luckily they fixed the issue with firmware updates. But good video
blackhawk 2 is good verx good i have hubsan ace pro...id Blashawk 2 FPV drone?
Great review ! You can tell you take effort and pride in your work .
Thank you my friend and for ur continuous support since the very beginning 👍👍
Thanks for the range test, it seemed to do well. As good as the Nano+. Thanks for sharing..
Hi Ron 👋 No problem 👍👍
GRATULATION 🤩👌🧐😎
👍👍
Some cell antennas run big watts to get throughput to cellphones depending on the stacked receiving antennas to boost the weak cellphone signals. Received I think the stacked dipoles have around 30 db receive gain and put out a 1kw transmit. Towers HF or ghz can mess with signals.
Good observation 👍👍
Which one has stronger fpv? Fimi X8 or Hubsan?
You think FPV?Hubsan isnt FPV drone
We need the competition!!
This drone must be succeed!!
The domination of Dji must be stopped ✋
Definitely, but i dont get it why this drone looks so much similar to the dji mavic 😂
@@TheGreatExplorer Looks like but not the same Air 1
Yeap, look pretty alike.
good luck whit that, my first drone was hubsan to lern, then i tried a dji, e never got back, its a completly diferent quality, but i hope hubsan can grow stronguer and beter.
My first drone was Hubsan and the camera module failed after 18 months old, and only 1 hour flight time in that period from being new, I would never buy another Hubsan drone
10km range advertised and not even 1.5km it disconnected? wowee. in my area it will only give me 1km maybe hahaha. gotta see. good test my friend
Hi Sir. Nah. None of my other drone could make it over 1.5km in this particular area. But it did almost as well as the Autel Lite+ here.
Hi! Nice review mate... Does the camera support EIS??
Look like previous 1st generation mavic air design... not bad.
It’s a look alike, but i like that it felts solid to the touch. It has some weight to it that makes it feels like a real drone, unlike all the 250g.
Best
Thank you I’ve been waiting to see this one for quite a while …it did as well as the autel and the video looks good I’m interested in if it can handle wind like it says it can ,power lines and transmission towers really mess with drones both my Fimi 2022 and mini 2 struggle around them too ….thanks for sharing
Appreciate your kind comments. It’s pretty windy lately, I’ll try do a flight in the wind 💨
I flew it on a very windy day. it handles winds superb, without turning on anti wind mode.
Hello Sir. It does handle wind like no wind at all 👍👍
Thank you
You're welcome
im interested in knowing if you are using the supplied cable hubsan gives you as i had disconnection issues with my zino mini pro up until i purchased a good OTG cable and now no more disconnections,i have made a flight over 1500 meters with no connection issues, when i used the regular cable i would get disconnections anywhere between 100 meters and beyond
Ive used all Hubsan original cable that comes with the drone and never had any issue. Except for a couple of disconnect in the early Hubsan Ace Pro firmware, but other than that, i never came upon that even with my Zino Mini Pro.
I think it is very likely the smartphone compatibility for the X-Hubsan 2 being the real problem here, some phone might work with it flawlessly whereas some might experience reliability issue between the phone USB OTG software, cable and Xhubsan2.My flight are pretty consistent with using my Huawei P30 and iphone 11.
@@TheGreatExplorer u shouldnt be getting any issues with a new phone but yes your most likely correct, hubsan is prob not considering western phones when testing these drones and are prob using phones produced in china
@@capeRCouple Yeap, the thing is, it is hard to reliably use a (Global version) google services available android phone in China whereas most services aren’t available or blocked. The China version android phone that we can buy locally has a different ROM, even if u install google services, there’s still something missing inside. Probably will be good for Hubsan R&D to source for overseas phone to use in their test flight, that way they could have a weed out additional issues ahead.
Great job air2 s army out
👍👍👍
Muito bacana range
When you see a tower with dishes or looking like drums on a tower stay out of the path or those high speed and power microwave relay antennas. Also figure out what other possible tower is firing signals at the tower you see that could ruin your connection. They can run more watts than your microwave at home and neither are good for drones :)
I might have to do this range test somewherelse, away from tower and dishes if possible 👍
Which brand of drones is best for budget drones?
Actually it really depends on what u are looking for. Dji mini se is also a pretty budget drone in its category. But for a little more, i guess hubsan zino mini se is the most budget yet having all the features u can play with in a drone
Im having the same problem of poor signal in my Zino Mini Pro after last
update.
I guess the latest update had solve these issue, not seeing it with mine after updating. (Hubsan Ace Pro)
Is better or fimi mini
It’s a different size drone to compare with. Unless u have no choice, i dont quite recommend flying those sub250g drone.
How is the night shot of a drone, I haven't seen any video. Can you recommend me this drone for night shooting, otherwise you would recommend my hubsan zino mini pro. I really will buy it
Hello, the camera is same with the Zino Mini Pro, i will have some videos coming up with this where you can check. cheers
Today we are beta testers. From now on, and whatever the brand, I will wait at least 6 months before investing, see if the product evolves positively.
On the page the ace pro interests me, also price level. It seems even, that hubsan by firmware, will add the 4k 60 ips.
Thanks for your investment.
Hello, I’m not sure if they will have 4k60fps, but if it does, it will surely be great to have👍
This drone series is called hubsan ace not hibsan Zino ace
You are correct, I've just checked again and indeed they excluded the Zino in the name. Thanks for correcting me on this. Cheers!
Hi GE this drone don't like.much big and much expense! Great hubsan with bypass obstacle in zmp!👍
Yea. Its more pricey than the Zmp. Unfortunately the firmware is still new, don’t have bypass in obstacles yet. But good thing you dont have to calibrate the obstacles avoidance anymore. It works right off the box.
Nice to see it in action my friend. I think it’s not complete yet and they have to put out firmware upgrades to it just like the ZMP and SE or any other drone for this matter. The only thing I noticed is that it’s really loud. Wish they could’ve designed some stealth/silent props for it for less noise. But the good thing about it, is that the motors are more powerful and can withstand stronger winds.
You've got sharp ears, yes, the design and the use of this High KV motors are definitely loud, much louder than any other drones i have had.
So zmp range is better or ace pro ?
It should be similar since they hve the same VTX. This location is not ideal for range test :(
I was shocked to see that you can't take photos or shoot video until it's airborne! So even with that huge cooling fan, it still has thermal issues. The Hubsan RTH is very characteristic - it seems to take ages before the drone turns around after you get the signal disconnection message. Also the signal strength indicator seems to stay on four white bars, and then suddenly goes to all grey. I don't believe it gives a fair representation of signal strength. By contrast, with something like a Fimi, the white bars progressively turn yellow as the signal weakens, and eventually turn red just before disconnection. That gives you a much better idea of signal strength. For a 550g drone, a maximum speed of less than 16m/s is disappointing. Even the ZMP can hit 16m/s. I was hoping Hubsan might use Li-Ion instead of LiPoly, they might have designed it around a 4s Li-Ion battery which could have used 18650 cells and maybe achieved 40 minutes duration for a similar weight.
I really appreciate your attention to details and ur thorough understanding on Hubsan drone does make this discussion very technical.
I’m unsure if it was really the case of overheating there but i dont notice any form of heat when having it switch on idling to transfer files. Either the heat was very much insulated by the drone body or Hubsan implemented a more conservative approach by disallowing recording before taking off.
You are definitely right on the signal strength indicator side. It just go from full to suddenly gone. It kinda rely on your experience to notice jerkiness in the fpv screen and know its almost time it will be out.
I think the thing with not opting for 18650 is that it can’t provide sufficient Burst of power when needed unlike a Lipo. The Motor KV is pretty high and sounds kinda loud. But it handles wind like a champ. I have a video soon on that near the seaside where it nails the wind like nothing. I’m unsure if a Lithium battery will provide that kinda power for this scenario.
As for max speed, i think the frame has to be the main issue here, it’s not entirely aerodynamic for the gimbal where its a cage to trap air hitting at it, maybe it will cause the gimbal to shake at certain speed which is why they limit the speed. I believe this drone if wanted to can go even faster without issue. It accelerates pretty fast too. Or maybe it was a safety features to not let u fly too fast, i dont really know, but this is just my opinion thus far.
Sorry i missed out, this is running on a 3S Lithium Pack
@@TheGreatExplorer My concern is that with the small arms, turning small props at high speed, the efficiency won't be that great, so it's likely that it won't match the endurance of the Mini Pro or the SE, which both get over thirty minutes. Previously, the DJI Spark was about the least power-efficient drone, the ACE might challenge it.
lost the signal very easy! why did you disconnect with only 1400 meters?!
Hell, This area has a higher alievation and signal interference. I'm just comparing it with all the other drones that i'm testing in this same area (I did explain in the beginning of this video). The Ace pro could go much further than this in an open area.
1.4公里图传就卡了啊
对啊,这个地方有些干扰。其他无人机也飞不了多远
Another garbage drone from Hubsan !!!
Why do you say that? The flight path has high level interference and the ACE Pro did as well as the Lite+ and better than others. Also, despite the misty conditions, the video was good with no jello, no tilted horizon, and solid USB link to the controller. Overall, the ACE Pro seems a good drone. It was great to see the first flight video from this drone on You Tube.
Do you own any new Hubsan drones?
@@DroneSyndrome No, I don't even want to give money to liars !!!
I have Mavic Air 2 and Mavic 3. I also had Mavic Air !!!
Great review. This drone seems like a great contender
Not all dji drones come out of factory chains flawless, regardless of the brand.😉
