Her şey Tatlı Bir Yalanla Başlıyor…
Nejat Yılmaz, kızı Kayra’yla birlikte mutlu bir hayat sürmektedir. Kayra’nın annesi Aylin, Kayra daha bebekken onları terk etmiş, Nejat da küçük kızı terk edilmenin acısını çekmesin diye, annesinin Afrika’da çok önemli görevleri olduğunu söylemiş ve senelerce kızına annesinin ağzından mektuplar yazmıştır. Kayra’nın 6. Yaş doğum günü yaklaşırken, Nejat, Kayra’nın annesi doğum gününde gelmesini beklediğini öğrenir. Nejat, Kayra’yı bu düşüncesinden uzaklaştırmaya çalışsa da küçük kız büyük bir hevesle annesinin geleceğine inanmaktadır. Çaresiz kalan Nejat, senelerdir konuşmadığı eski karısı Aylin’e ulaşmaya çalışır.
Suna Doğan, uzun zamandır gerçekleştirmeye çalıştığı hayaline ulaşmak üzeredir. Küçük bir çocukken kaybettiği annesinin muhallebici dükkanını yeniden açacak, annesinin hatırasını yaşatacaktır. Abisi Rafet’in aldığı borç yüzünden aile yadigari kahvehanelerine haciz gelmesiyle Suna’nın bütün hayalleri bir avuç toza dönüşür. Suna ve ailesi, ailenin ekmek teknesini kaybetmemek için birkaç gün içinde 200 bin TL bulmak zorundadır. Tüm aile kara kara bir çıkış yolu ararken, reklam filmi için mekan bakmakta olan Nejat’ın yolu kahvehaneye düşer. Suna, Nejat’ın kahvehaneyi almak isteyen aç gözlü bir iş adamı olduğunu zannedince Nejat’ı kovmaktan beter eder. Suna daha sonra Nejat’ın kim olduğunu öğrenir ve yaptıkları yüzünden pişman olur. Eğer Nejat kahvehaneyi reklam filmi için kiralarsa paranın en azından bir kısmını elde edeceğini düşünür. Ablası Saniye ve en yakın arkadaşı Burcu’nun gazıyla Nejat’tan özür dilemek üzere yola çıkar.
Bu sırada Nejat, eski karısı Aylin’in gelmeyeceğinden emin olmuş, kızı Kayra’ya gerçeği söylemek üzere hazırlık yapmaktadır. Kayra’nın yıkılacağını düşünen Nejat perişan bir haldeyken Suna elinde özür dileme pastasıyla, kapısında belirir. Suna, kendini zorla içeri davet ettirir ve beraberinde gelişen olaylar Suna ve Nejat’ın kontrolünden çıkar. Sabah olduğunda Suna ve Nejat’ı yeni bir sürpriz beklemektedir. Kayra, doğum günü sabahında evinde gördüğü Suna’yı annesi Aylin zanneder. Bu yanlış anlaşılma Suna ve Nejat’ı hiç ummadıkları bir evcilik oyununun içine düşürür. - Розваги

Seriously, I LOVE THIS SHOW and many other Turkish shows are way better than anything from Hollywood. I may not understand the language, but to me it's beautiful and I love this story of this Father and his love for his daughter and also Sunas story of being abandoned by her mother etc. I am a fan of this show and cant wait to watch to the finale 💗💗

I started watching this a long time ago. Then, just as I was really getting into it, it ran out of subtitles. This happens with so many Turkish series. I have since learnt to put in the title and Final to see if it has all been subtitled. Now I'm starting to watch it all over again. This, only because I saw Furkan Palali in another series!
