Caiwei (Water Sleeves Dance)《采薇》

“When I left here, Willows shed tear. I come back now, Snow bends the bough.” This poem sings the feelings of the soldiers who fought hard and longed for their return. Caiwei is a dance fragment in Confucius' dream of "Datong". In the dream, there are no more wars. Swords, reforged into plowshares, birth a realm of beauty, a haven from suffering's girth.
