Thank you for stating the obvious. 🤦♂️

The fact that you felt compelled to make that comment makes me pity you. I hope you find the peace and contentment you’re looking for, Steve.
@@stevecooper6515mate, it's called freedom of speech. He has that right. And not everything is as obvious to everyone as you think. There are those who consider Alan Watts simply an entertainer, a wacko guru. So, the above comment is by me appreciated, as I concur with it.
a bee cannot force a flower to open but when the flower does open, the bee can then visit it and get the nectar it needs for itself and the rest of the hive.
Why can’t you force a flower open?
You can’t force a metaphor 👍🏻
Check on the hive from time to time, just make sure the hives good, thank you 💯🙏

Cut wood along its grain.
This is the principle of wu wei, not to force.
Act according to pattern of things.
Have feeling of interdependence.
It's not competition, but friendly enemy, part of you in cooperation.
Microorganisms within your body are eating each other up.
It's mutual arising.
Don't force it. Then you have spontaneity.
Thanks Alan. 5 September 2023.💝💰🌹⚘🌹🚀👍
Alan changed my life.

I used to watch your videos daily and was missing them. Thanks a lot for re uploading them
Glad you enjoy the videos. More to come!
A good one to keep in the trenches of self discovery & avoid having your head blown off by the bs being spoon-feed to the masses.
These Alan Watts lectures & snipets on YT have been a perfect way to see-through what's being peddled by mainstream thoughts
I have thought alot about the life of wuwia, i luv this concept of life. Its a way of life im going to live, it changes the perspective on how to live in peace with myself, to work on me so may be find me some day again. Lost another person, my choice, over thos last week, figured it would be better for her not to b in this and things, sitting alone once again and well its..no one really cares so wont bother anyone, to all who might read find ur thing in this world to make a difference, someone might just need ur help to find there way, so they don't fall in the cracks of life.ill b gone b4 long i can feel it, take care and i do mean this to, thank you.
Alan Watts discusses Wu Wei, the concept of effortless action, in many of his talks and writings. In the context of a relationship where trust is gone but love is still there, Wu Wei can be applied in several ways:
• Accepting the situation: The first step is to accept that trust has been broken and that the relationship is in a difficult place. This doesn't mean giving up, but it does mean letting go of the need to control the situation or force things to be different.
• Practicing non-attachment: Wu Wei emphasizes non-attachment, which means not clinging to outcomes or trying to force things to happen in a certain way. In a relationship, this means being willing to let go of expectations and simply being present with the person you love, without trying to change them or control their behavior.
• Acting with compassion: Wu Wei also teaches us to act with compassion, which means understanding the other person's perspective and trying to see things from their point of view. In a relationship, this means being patient, forgiving, and willing to communicate openly and honestly.
• Letting go of the past: Wu Wei reminds us that the past is gone and cannot be changed. In a relationship, this means letting go of past hurts and resentments and focusing on the present moment.
Of course, applying Wu Wei in a relationship is not always easy. It requires a lot of patience, self-awareness, and willingness to forgive. But if both partners are committed to working things out, Wu Wei can be a powerful tool for healing and rebuilding trust.
Here are some specific examples of how Wu Wei can be applied in a relationship where trust is gone but love is still there:
• Instead of trying to force your partner to talk about what happened, simply be present and listen without judgment when they are ready to talk.
• Instead of trying to control your partner's behavior, focus on controlling your own reactions.
• Instead of dwelling on the past, focus on creating positive experiences together in the present.
• Instead of trying to change your partner, focus on accepting them for who they are.
Remember, Wu Wei is not about giving up or doing nothing. It is about acting with wisdom and compassion, and letting go of the things that are beyond our control.
If you are looking for more information on Wu Wei, I recommend reading the following books:
• Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu
• The Way of Zen by Alan Watts
• Effortless Action by Jia-Shan

Wu Wei is when you notice you don't have to do anything, which means you let everything move on its own.
Ok wu wei

Yeah.
Don't force anything.
Just wait for it
until the end of your
life.
(Waiting is the
meaning of
life.)
there is a difference between forcing and doing...seems to me there is 'right timing' and taking in as many factors of a situation and knowing when to act and when to not act...sometimes force is necessary, other times forcing something is a waste of time. A bee cannot force a flower to open...but when it opens it is time to visit it! ;-) Just my opinion of course and how I see what Alan means.

_"... there is a difference between forcing and doing ..."_
Yeah.
And that difference is
called "intensity'.
Which is undefined.
So there's no
any exact difference.
_"... seems to me there is 'right timing' and taking in as many factors of a situation and knowing when to act and when to not act ..."_
Yeah.
What "right timing"
is unknown.
_"... sometimes force is necessary, other times forcing something is a waste of time ..."_
Yeah.
That's what I said.
There's no difference.
_"... A bee cannot force a flower to open...but when it opens it is time to visit it! ;-) Just my opinion of course ..."_
Yeah.
Good for the bees.
But there will be humans who
meet only closed
flowers.
_"... and how I see what Alan means ..."_
Yeah.
And what about Alan's
very opinion of
"Don't Force Anything".
@@mountainhobbit1971 well said.
@@WiaraTV thank you.
