this song is easily one of her best and one of the most beautiful duets of all time. i wanna point out that this song was completely self written on ariana’s part, recorded in her home studio and vocal arranged all by herself. no one else has touched the vocals of this song except for her and i think that’s very impressive and amazing. ❤️❤️❤️
I love watching people fall in love with Ariana’s insane talent ! Could yall add Ariana live at BBC performing “only 1” please ? she’s wearing a huge black gown and has a whole live orchestra !
They were not only smooth, but also gentle. It makes a fascinating change (from what I've seen so far) for Ariana to sing so softly, rather than using her full power and belting out her lyrics so that she can clearly be heard from right at the back of the stadium without benefit of a microphone... but I like it. Their voices really do complement each other so well...

Also check out -Jason's Song -Imagine (she performed it on Jimmy Fallon) -The entire Thank you, next album, especially Ghostin - oh, Santa which she collaborated with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson -Santa can't you hear me with Kelly Clarkson -R.E.M. -The Way ft. Mac Miller - My Favorite Part It's Mac Miller's song that he asked her to be on and I think actually started their relationship despite The Way being their first collab and Ari's first hit. There is a live performance which I think is way better than the mv. Not sure if you all are aware but she has a Christmas EP called Christmas and Chill which is fun. Fast forward Ari gets engaged to Pete Davidson and while they are engaged Mac dies of an accidental drug overdose making Ari feel devastated and break off the engagement with Pete, that was a very hard time for her, especially since people were blaming her for Mac's death as well and again the fact she broke off an engagement to the person she thought she finally will settle with. She then got married to Dalton Gomez at that time when she made 'off the table'. The Weeknd is like Dalton talking to Ari that yes Love can still exist out there and that he'll be there for her even if he was the 2nd option to Mac, while Ari talks to him back asking if she really will be able to find love with how much heartbreak she has gone through over the years, with him reassuring her that she will and that he will wait for her
