- INGREDIENTS:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
21/4 to 21/2 cups water or milk
Oil for deep frying
Optional: 1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

Maashaallah your recipes have never failed me and this is one I make often, days of fasting, and all the holidays. This time I tried it with the cayenne, though I reduced it to 1/2 tsp. and it's really delicious. I imagine next time I'll try a full tsp. Also, I use a small cookie scoop for these type of recipes and it's super fast. Bless you 🤲🏼

It appeared you used olive oil. I’m not a fan so I would use an oil that is lighter tasting. Those look very good.
