  • In this video I play a single player match of Cluedo with all five computer players set to hard difficulty and the Classic Mansion theme. No hints used.
The game is Clue/Cluedo: The Classic Mystery Game available on PC (Steam), Android and iOS. Steam version shown in video.

Tom Horror: Very impressive work, especially with all the computers on hard mode! There is no way I could've pulled that off! Well done dude, you have my respect!

You should! I got it on sale (with the season pass) and put over 100 hours into it. I think there is crossplay with the other versions of it too because the online mode always seems to be active

I'm curious why did you put those two question marks in the beginning?

lnwreal9 I use question marks to note when I have narrowed down a player's card to be one of two. At 1:25 in the video Mrs White disproves Prof Plum's suggestion of White with the Rope in the Ballroom. Since I have the Ballroom card then White must hold either herself, the Rope or both. Therefore I put a question mark on those two cards.

Arround 6:50 you put a green mark at the billiard room. How are you so sure about that? i can't figure that out. Nice video btw

On a previous suggestion that Mr. Green AI refuted, he could had used the revolver or billiard room card (checked with the little 1s in the notepad). When the Plum Ai showed the player the revolver card you can then deduce that Green could had only showed the billiard card at the time.

I can see how and why you use the question marks, but can you please explain your use of the explanation marks?

Please excuse my insistent questions. I'm just trying to learn how to play better.
At the 8:14 mark you Ticked the Revolver for Miss Scarlet because the other number 2 for the Hall had been eliminated. I get that. But why did you then also erase the number 1s? Couldn't she still also have the Library?
PS I realize that it has been quite some time since you played this game and your reasoning may not be easy to recall. So if you don't feel like responding I totally understand.

@@tassie7325 Hi, no worries Mick. It's nice to see people still want to learn this game. I use the exclamation marks because I always play with six players, and so each person will always have three cards in their deck. So when I've deduced 2/3 cards for someone's deck, I will fill in their blank squares with exclamation marks as a visual reminder of how close I am to completing that deck. Then once I find their third card, I then know to cross out all other cards for that player since I have all three of their cards. Some players may think this is a bit overkill, but I find it makes it easier to keep track of each player's deck.
As for the number 1s, this is something where my playstyle has changed since this video. It seems at the time, I assumed that because the Revolver was in both suggestions and I found out that Scarlett had it, that the chances of her also having the Library were slim. Nowadays I do leave all numeric notations in the notes until the cards are confirmed either by myself or the game.

Thanks Tom. I have since started using the question marks and they are a definite help as there is less searching for that matching pair. I will try the exclamation marks but fear it may be a bit cluttered for my liking - we will see.
