Think about it, all black cast about a portion of our black community. These big Networks never wanted this, I rarely see Power cast get interviewed, or any cast from any of Tyler Perry shows etc. We are not supposed to be seen as the majority they want us under the minority monitor and that's where they're going to keep us as long as we don't have any black networks Oprah's OWN is all we have so far, I think we have Revolt Network which I think is owned by Puff Daddy or partially owned by him but I'm not too sure.

Starz got so many new subscribers because of the Pink/ P-Valley broke records for Starz more than any other network or show being aired so WTF is up??? And if they don't renew it the subscribers are leaving!!

This show is soooo deep. It doesn't glamorize the life of a stripper but gives a face to those out there trying to survive their hustle . Bravo to the entire cast !! I think they ALL deserve an Emmy but "Lil Murda" especially as it is hard to play a role that is not a part of your real life style and for him to survive the "haters" and the those who "question" him is hard but he remains humble & thankful !! I will still be cheering when he accepts his Emmy & when Katori is recognized for her BOSS writing skills !!!
Alphonse is a humble and appreciative brother. As a actor I can admit that I don't think I could have played that role. Not because of anything homophobic but because I dont think I have the range of this brother. Give this man his flowers.
Scoot, he is a stellar actor! The way he brings masculinity, sensitivity, romance, friendship and sensuality to the screen is brilliant. He is gifted and will get many more roles as a direct result of his protrayal of this character!

I'm so glad people are starting to recognizes how impactful this show is. When J Fonz started to cry so did i, he has gotten so much love but also so much hate trying to defend his manhood because of the role he played and did a great job at. I'm so excited for the next season ♥️

This was one Phenomenal ground breaking show on STARZ!! P-Valley touches on so many topics that us in Black Community sometimes wouldn’t dare talk about or address. From Domestic violence to Suicide, Mental health/Mental Illness, breaking generational curves, living in your truth. As a Proud Gay Black man this show really hit home for me !! I’m a Sexual abuse survivor an also a Mental health advocate… I had the pleasure of working on Season 2 as a PA: Production Assistant: Public health & safety. All of the Actors on this show brought their A Game & I feel like everyone can relate to one character in this show. Lil Murda was one of my favorite characters along with Uncle Clifford. 🔥🔥🔥
Alphonse is so amazing such a talented young man, his sister is too. His mom planted a seed in him a long time ago and it is blossoming now. I just love his whole family!!

Lil Murda’s character was so beautiful and him coming out was powerful. I am M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I, she’s a mother who loves her children. It’s difficult to love someone and decide to stay in an abusive relationship wanting your children to grow up in a 2 parent home, however the children suffer so much more when WE stay. I love all the characters, they are amazing and the show was wonderfully made❤️🔥🌹
My love for this show, Katori Hall, actors, writers, directors, crew and all involved is enormous. This is why the arts are so important in education and life. The arts are the true master teachers of the world 🤗

It definitely gave me goosebumps and chills when Shannon Thornton was especially about Keyshawn “Mississippi” character. My mother, before she passed from a fatal injury she sustained from a logging truck accident, went through a history of abuse and injuries inflicted by my “father”. Growing up in the Deep South. A preacher’s grandchild, it was frowned upon if you thought of divorce. You were just pushed back together and told to work that sh*t out ! My mother more than likely had an escape plan but I honestly believed that God saw her suffering and gave her her wings so that my dad could no longer hurt her. 🥹💜

The Second Season of P-Valley, J. Alphonse as Lil Murda had me rooting for him on all levels, and at the Finale, when he claimed his forbidden love for Uncle Clifford to the sensual sounds of Jeffery Osbourne, I just wept, and felt all of the love, because everybody who wants to be love, wants to be loved, just like that!!!
I watched season 2 Finale several times, until I could finally just let go!!!
