They sound great and I really like them Especially after surviving a full hour of washing in a washing machine together with the case, I couldn't believe they would play again after one day. I'm in love with the brand.
I never heard of your channel until today. I usually go to other channels when it comes to earbuds and headphones. But I also like people who do real testing when it comes to earbuds, out in public, wind, noise, or driving like you did. I read all kinds of great reviews when it comes to the Engine4 but Soundpeats should've done a better job with the noise cancellation.
Excellent review. I just got one. It is really amazing. What a masterpiece! I bought it here in Brazil for less than 30 dollars with taxes. Your channel is astronomical. Congrats! The Moondrop space Travel is also excellent - but the Soundpeats engine 4 is even better.
Really good detailed review again. Yes, sound is my biggest criteria and having an EQ option in the app is huge too. I rarely use them for phone calls so that's not a deal breaker for me but totally understand if it would be for some. A really nice option for sure!
I feel like i found a gold mine over at yt. Nice content! I'm mildly confused nevertheless, because there's no ANC but I agree your take on this: If you're on a budget, you better focus on the thing you want the most, sound or ANC. If I don't like my incoming Capsule3 I'll definitely consider the Engines, thanks.
Hi and thanks so much for your comment. I would be surprised if you don’t like the Capsule3 but please come back here and tell us what you think of them!
Got the Capsules3 and they're great :) the fit, ANC and Sound are just right. Nothing near my DAC + wired monitors but for wireless convenience and on the goes I'm happy I didn't splurge all my minimum wage into them big names. I'm still mildly curious what the Engine 4 is like. Best regards
Great analysis of the SoundPeats portfolio. Because of your videos comparing the ANC/ENC in real situations against other “higher” products, I choose the Capsule 3 Pro (I really use TWS for conferencing/calls when I out-of-office). Thanks again !!! Looking forward for the QCY HT-05 review (I use this model here in Brazil while my Capsule don’t arrive in my hands) !!!

Ok, I am testing the Edifier TWS1 Pro 2 and I think they are EXCELLENT! This is a tough choice... personally I think I would go with the Edifier in this particular comparison. Even richer sounding (especially in the mids) - you can compensate for this a little bit with SoundPEATS and get close. Also, the TWS1 Pro2 have insanely good ergonomics (for my ears, at least) and weigh close to nothing. Overall, Edifier's sound signature is hard not to love - amazingly good at this price!
Hi , it's been over 1 year, do you still have them? Are they working same as they were first time? Have you faced any issue with them? I have already ordered them on Aliexpress with discount price, and I am afraid of bad reviews about the quality of them on some sites
I do have them and I just listened to them for a few songs seeing your comment. No issues here but... to be completely honest I haven't been using them a lot since shortly after the review (too many other earbuds that I had to use and pay attention to) so... I can't really tell you they lasted for a year because the actual usage time was relatively short. Having said that = they lasted for a year with no issues, hahaha
Respect for your amazing review 👏 Im between this Soundpeats engine 4 or the soundcore liberty 4 nc... which one is better?? And witch one have the better sound?? Thanks for advance
@@Perfumeguy you seem to have already decided haha… here’s my 2c: for sound quality I would not hesitate a second and pick the Engine4. With ANC they’re about the same (although a lot depends on the fit and how you work with your earbuds/select the eartips so please remember that).
Great review, thank you. I'm looking for headphones with better than good sound. Engine4 seem to be like that, but I was very disappointed with the call quality. Can I find headphones in a similar price range that will be better in this aspect? Im also thinking about the Soundcore Anker A20i or P20i. You're doing a great job, thank you, best regards.
Hi Bartosz, welcome and thanks so much for the comment! If you want the sound comparable with the Engine4 and better phone call quality you can cross the P20i off your list. The A20i is a little closer but my recommendation would be either the SoundPEATS Capsule 3 Pro (really good phone call quality and excellent sound for music) or the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro (I know they are not the most recent release but still, very very good in both SQ and phone calls).
Thank you for the quick reply. I will consider your suggestions and look at other reviews.Wszystkego dobrego w Nowym roku i kolejnych znakomitych recenzji👍@@thepolishpotato42
That's a tough call to make. The Edifier is VERY good and I love their completely custom EQ but I think I would give a slight edge to the Engine4 because the tuning is really nearly perfect!
Looking for a fresh pair after my Earfun free Pro's literally started falling apart and the earbuds themselves getting cracks on them (?) which is very odd. Only thing I still dwell on is whether to get stem design for less body born noise.
Depends. If only sound quality for music is what’s important to you then yes. If you also want great ANC and phone calls quality I would go with the Capsule 3 Pro.
Opera5 is very good but it has a little questionable tuning in the treble so personally I would go with Engine4. Sounds a little fuller and better balanced to my ears.
Hmm... I wouldn't put them up as far as going against Technics or Beoplay. Those are a whole higher level of sophistication earbuds we're talking about... The Senheiser... well, I just personally don't love their sound processing so it's going to be tough for me to say the Engine4 couldn't compete here. I feel like maybe they could.
Thanks for your honesty. As someone who has way too many earbuds, I can't help but keep looking for the perfect pair, and when reviewers use such strong hyperbole, I can't help but be curious.
Engine 4 is better as the whole package (ANC, mics, connectivity). If you are looking for pure sound quality, even though they are very comparable I would go with the Edifier (excellent app features as far as precise frequency tuning goes).
The mic and lack of ANC/transparency mode seem to be the only weak points of these buds. I def don't need another pair of earbuds but am still fighting the urge to buy these. I really don't understand why these (and all decent earbuds for that matter) wouldn't include transparency mode since all earbuds have microphones.
Hi, i have been used the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro since 2 months ago, i like it for its sound quality, but are too big and his battery life is no good for me. You would recomendme this one talking about sound quality, battery and size?
Hi Nelson, yes I would recommend these for sound quality and battery life. They are a little smaller than the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and they are MUCH lighter so you should be quite happy with them!
Great review. I had the original Truengine and while they sounded great for certain genres, I found them lacking bass as someone that listens to dance music and the volume was also too low.
Tough choice, both are very good. Engine4 beats Capsule 3 Pro in music quality but not by much and Capsule 3 Pro is slightly better for phone calls so I guess it comes down to ergonomics for you? Do you know if stem buds fit better into your ears? If so go with Capsule 3 Pro. If it doesn’t make much of a difference I’d probably pick Engine4.
3 pros will be my last buds (I’m trying open ears now and more stems etc. my first sleep buds (A20s soundcore ). But buddy I will only purchase. If liberty 4 pros are designed in the same style as the 3 in bud form
Far from perfect sound, it is a relaxing tuning which is hard to find in itself. Treble missing the end extension and bass is bloated. This tuning turns out to be extremely relaxing enough to sleep with. Use ldac adaptive and drops will be gone. Engine 4 driver is better then the peats 4 pro but not as good as earfunfree pro 3. It is a balanced tuning, not great at any genre but good in all genres. No way this is end game, you need a wired iem something like a monarch mk2 with at least a midlevel dap. Also you need spinfits to get the most out of any iem. Fit and finish and fantastic. Little bit hard to get out if the case..Overall for price no really big complaints. It is a solid wireless iem.
these buds are so slippery the left bud slipped out of my hand when I was holding it while getting out of the car. Now it has a dent I couldn't stand lol. I just had these for 5 days. Anyway I had the Truengine 3 SE and H1 before these. I can attest that these are better and very worth it!
Sorry to hear that! I do agree they can be tricky to handle. It's most difficult for me when my hands are dry! Glad you like the sound and thanks for the comment!
Greetings, Polish Potato (great nickname, by the way!), from your native land of Poland! 🫡 Hats off for your detailed review - hands down the best and most extensive one on the Sound Peats Engine 4's that I've seen on UA-cam, and I've seen a good number, since I'm a bit of an audiophile on a budget, this pair has definitely piqued my interest. It's a shame that the call quality is as terrible in windy conditions as you have clearly (and cleverly) demonstrated in your video, but I don't really expect to be using them while driving with the car window down or in extreme weather, and audio quality for listening to hi-res 24-bit FLAC files with LDAC on is far more important to me. Something to note for those who may be wondering, is that the Engine 4's have an IPX4 rating, so they should be fine for sweating at the gym, but not necessarily for strolling out and about without an umbrella in heavy rain. As for the battery life, it's worth mentioning that the promised 12.5 hrs on a single charge is for lossy Bluetooth codecs such as SBC and AAC, whilst the hi-res LDAC codec will apparently last for the 7 hours you mention in your review, but that's still plenty more than most of the competitors, and indeed other LDAC-capable SoundPeat in-ear headphones, and should be sufficient for most music maniacs out there. Last but not least, the one missing feature aside from ANC is reportedly fast charge, so if my understanding is correct, unfortunately you won't be able to charge them for, say, 15 minutes to get an extra hour out of them when the battery is starting to die at the end of the day, but have to charge them for the full 2 hours to get them properly up and running again. In any case, kind thanks for your comprehensive review, which impressed me so much that I've decided to subscribe to your channel. I'll be keeping those fingers firmly crossed for winning your giveaway. 🤞 All the best from Lublin, Poland! 😃 🇵🇱
Greetings, greetings and thank you so much for your kind words! With what you just added the review is NOW complete! I appreciate all your thoughtful remarks. Thanks so much for the sub and... good luck in the drawing!
I'm in dilemma whether to buy capsule 3 pro or engine 4. I will let this giveaway decide for me on which to buy, I mean if I don't win I will just get the capsule 3 pro. I've been hearing great reviews on the sound quality on the engine 4. Let luck decide! 😅
I have the capsule 3 pro had prior to them true engine 3 se there is a slight difference between them. the 3 se is better in separation and treble and mids but the capsule has better volume and base also better fit and comfort plus the anc and transparency modes are amazing always thought of those as gimmicks untill i tried them and oh boy they make a difference overall I am satisfied with the capsule 3 but after seeing you're review about the engine 4 I'm intrigued as they seem to be on par with the opera's and better than the h1 which is already better than the 3 so there's that but man it's hard to choose with soundpeats these days
It's hard to choose, that's correct! They make a lot of good products. IMHO these are better than the Opera. I listened very carefully and after a while Opera just gets tiring with the extreme treble tuning. These are so smooth and carry you through a day with beautiful tunes that just leave you wanting more! Thanks so much. foryour comments and stopping by here!
Gosh I just ordered the capsule 3 pro🤔🤦♂😔. Edit: Thank God I chose the capsule 3 pro after hearing the microphone test. This is a horrible earbuds 🤷♂🤷♂😮😮
@@thepolishpotato42 I shared the bad guy good audio channel for an example how he does the give away. Just for inspiration. It did not went through ever since the day you posted the first video about the engine 4.
Rest of the earbuds sound crap with ok bass. Jbl the underrated has the best deep bass. Just close your eyes and buy it. I own JBL Live free 2 and nothing has came close yet. And yes I returned hyped soundcore liberty 4 nc and Engine 4. Just listened the music once, out of the box and felt bass and sound quality is no where close to jbl. Trust me go with JBL. Im kinda audiophile n picky on the sound quality 😂
With all due respect, I just threw them in the trash. They sound good, but I would not make a video about them. The tips irritate the ear canal, they are not loud, there is no sensor to stop music once placed in the box, there is no ANC, etc. Horrible product. 👎
Not wverything works for everyone, I understand. To me, sound is most important- I say this in every video on this channel. Tips irritating the ear canal will aslo - as much as it must be frustrating to you - be a very subjective experience. Sorry they didn’t work for you.

All the best from Lublin, Poland!
Sounds good! Good luck in the drawing!
Tell me about the mic quality bro..
It's interesting how a decent mic is hard to achieve.
Did you find a way to do the giveaway? 😬
Still working on it but I will announce soon!
@@thepolishpotato42 Cool, let me know how to participate in the giveaway please.
Thanks.
@@asmewilliams7117 I will post the announcement video by tomorrow, at the latest.

Wonderful. A po naszemu :-) ? Dla tych, co mnie smigaja po angielsku? Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
No in near detection and the touch controls are garbage. For day-to-day use, I think these are very important things to bring up.
it's time for me to get these earbuds🍀😂🎉
You are entered into the drawing! 🤞🏻
@@thepolishpotato42 🍀🙏🎉
Hi boss, try to make your video a little easier to comprehend keep each of your videos at least 10-12min longs. 😇
Wow..the mic quality is quite bad
That is a great review, that sound quality would be perfect for me, enter me as well, thanks
You are entered, good luck!
Gosh I just ordered the capsule 3 pro🤔🤦♂😔.
Edit: Thank God I chose the capsule 3 pro after hearing the microphone test. This is a horrible earbuds 🤷♂🤷♂😮😮
I do not know why I can't find my comment from earlier.
Doesn’t seem like it ever went through but now you’re here and in the drawing to win the Engine4!
@@thepolishpotato42 I shared the bad guy good audio channel for an example how he does the give away. Just for inspiration. It did not went through ever since the day you posted the first video about the engine 4.
Mic quality is a shame
I’m hoping it’s the algorithm and maybe it can be fixed with a firmware upgrade?
@@thepolishpotato42just got them this week as a giveaway and a year later I wouldn’t mention the Liberty 3 pros but definitely the space A40s! Same price ! . 50$ on Amazon and that’s a good price for both. The engine 4 has its pros & cons as well as space A 40s. (They are more comfortable and a smaller size bud (A40). But engine 4s have more battery life , & they match up pretty well the design is awesome too (if you don’t have sore ears ) I think they can become a household name if they continue releasing products like their new headphones 🎧 I’m very interested in trying them •the fit ,•design •audio etc for the price! Of 64$!! I want to see how they compare to the space ones & q45s because at their price and the style looks great ! The SoundPEATS Space Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones , I have to get a pair and compare them to the “100$ - 150$ models by other brands !
@@thepolishpotato42great video
I’m still figuring out how to place them in the correct way as well lol because they will seal and sound great I’ve found it a few times .
Excellent review. These look like a no brainer. Especially for the price.
Agreed, thanks so much for the comment and good luck in the drawing!
