The Reload animation of the Thompson & MP40 from Both COD1 & COD2 was good, while the Reload animation from COD3 was more intense, they pull the bolts then changing mags.
Partially because it was made as the first COD game for new-Gen consoles at the time (PS3, XBOX 360, and the Wii). Given that these consoles were more powerful and could handle more polygons than their current Gen counterparts, they could make these games bigger. It wasn’t until COD 4, however, that this would really become prevalent
@@krychur4956 So I looked it up and there appears to be no visible handle on the Thompson at all in BRO. The animation has the hands lock back the bolt, swap mags and release the bolt to go forward. Though whether this implies it closes all the way or not can't be clear. The ejection port is a solid black color so it doesn't help either.
@@flame_101 oh yeah i know, it’s just it was depicted more accurately than the other cods, even if it was incorrect. i guess what i meant was, “cod 1, 2 and 3 reloaded the BAR more accurately than other cod”
You're both wrong. BAR can be reloaded both ways due to how genius Browning was at designing weapons. You can pull the bolt before inserting the mag or insert the mag and pull the bolt afterwards There's a reason why many of his guns are still used to this day such as the M2 50 Cal and M1911 Only mistake many WW2 games did was that the bolt should be locked forward again like COD 3 instead of being in the back like 1, 2, WAW and so on The one they always gets wrong until WWII and Vanguard are the Thompson. That gun doesn't need to be treated like AK 47 because the users can just slap a mag in and keep shooting again after the user pulls the bolt for the first time. This does not include the Drum mag version where the mechanism requires the user to pull back the bolt before firing again
I’m glad Call of Duty 3 recognizes the “one in the chamber” rule for the Trench Gun.
I never realized that in cod 3 they reloaded aggressively but then again your in war
Nowadays we have games that do the opposite and take reloads unrealistically slow.
The war ambience from COD 2 is why it so memorial for me...
ambience and background noises really play a big part in the overall atmosphere of the game
Cod 2's G43 and SVT40 sometimes still creeps me out because not only its hard to replicate but sometimes of how impractical it is

@Hamentsios10 Nah, problably because you are a CoD legend.
0:50 beautiful bolt catch from cod 3 😂
Call of Duty 3 Win
I'm pissed at myself for selling my copy of Call of Duty 3 for Xbox 360.
I love COD 2 ❤❤
Cod 3 vs WaW weapons?
No

@@sniperak4791 They said CoD 3 vs WaW not CoD 2 vs WaW

Call of Duty 1: *closed bolt guns are open bolt*
Call of Duty 3: *open bolt guns are closed bolt*

Pray tell me what gun in CoD 3 is backwards because I watched the whole thing and didn't see any that 3 got wrong.
@@1SilverDollarYeah it's only the Sten that got it wrong
@@1SilverDollar the Sten gets it closed bolt, but I think it was in Big Red One that the Thompson fired closed bolt now that I look back.

cod 1, 2 and 3 reloaded the BAR more accurately than WaW, WWII and Vanguard💀
Cod 1 and 2 isn't correct tho
