    I like that your videos are well crafted and not overproduced with music and lengthy intros. Just useful information

    These mini batteries are awesome! The two sets of terminal post are a great idea. I am a firm believer in the baker's dozen. I always drop things, and usually it's outside in tall grass, or through the slats on a trailer floor into tall grass. Magnets are my friend. For size, weight, and price, four of these definitely give a 48v server rack battery a run for the money. I really prefer to lift 20 lbs at a time instead of 80 to 100. These pouch cell batteries can also be mounted upside down. Thanks for the video.

    Excellent video! I'm glad they worked so well! (basically because I have 2 on order!). I might end up ordering a 3rd if I can fit it in the case I got for them. Thanks again!

    I got my dad two of the PowerQueen Minis and they both capacity tested at 105Ah and 1364wh. Pretty impressive (my discharge rate was only 10A but that should still only give an extra Ah and 30'ish watt hours compared to a 20A draw). Got them for $270 each. Best price I've seen anywhere

      IR on both (measured with an RC3563) was 3.6mΩ. They are so well matched which is one thing I was concerned about coming from a budget battery company. I'm still convinced Redodo, Powerqueen, and Litime are somehow related. That or they happen to use the same large factory. The material you get in the box is the same, the battery box is the same, the BMS is the same, everything is the same. Then all 3 of them come out with a mini battery using pouch cells? yeah not a coincidence

      Great find! I think your dad will get plenty of use out of them. Thanks for the comment.

    Very informative video. Quite a difference in the battery size of those two. Thank you for the info.

    Nice review. It’s crazy something that small can have 100 AH. Have you ever charged your portable power stations directly from one of those batteries. Basically, take a 5.5x2.1 mm, 8mm, or xt60 cable and put some terminals on them and just connect it to the battery

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  Рік тому +2

      Yes. I made a video of connecting the Bluetti directly to a Lifepo4 battery. It actually works quite well. As long as the power station can accept 12v then it will work. If the power stations' MPPT only accepts a higher voltage... something like 18v, then it won't work unless you connect a boost converter between the battery and the power station.

      @@OffGridBasement- thanks for the reply. Now that you say it, I kind of remember seeing that video. I’ll go back and find it

    I just purchased two new 12v 100ah mini redodo batteries. I will be running these in series for a trolling motor that requires 24v. I'm not charging the system with solar. Whatever charger I will be using will be plugged into a standard USA 120v receptacle.
    My question is, how do I charge two 12v batteries that a permanently ran in series? What is the proper way to charge the two batteries that I can get the most life out of these LiFePo4 battery?
    Thanks

      I would suggest using a 12v / 24v battery charger. Here is a link to a review and item.

    How much does it weigh & do they sell protective covering for that size to protect it from the elements in an rv.
    Thanks.

      It weighs 21 lbs. I don't know of any protective covering for the mini. Thanks for the comment.

    But how many cycles can it last before it starts to degrade to 80% capacity? Same number of life cycles as the big brother?

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  Рік тому +1

      I believe it is 4000 cycles. That is around the same as the full size battery. Thanks for the comment.

    🤔 Red-odeo?

    I am thinking of using 2 of these on my sailboat. How can I control 50% charge when I am away for a few weeks and what does that do to my bilge pump capacity? What charger do you all recommend?

    • @OffGridBasement
      @OffGridBasement  Рік тому

      I would buy a shunt for the most accurate capacity measurements. You could take the voltage, but that is not very accurate. 13.1v or 13.2v would be a safe range for storage. I don't know anything about bilge pump capacity so I can't help you there. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment.
