Hay muchos podcasts en español de varios temas a una velocidad normal. Claro que la comprensión depende también del vocabulario, las estructuras y otros factores, pero si ya tiene un nivel de comprensión para entender un podcast a una velocidad normal, hay buenas opciones. Hi, it's me again! I have another question. When Alejandro was talking about his debit card, he said "la tarjeta de debito" but if you have a red shirt you would say "la camisa roja". So my question is, when do you use "de" between the noun and adjective and when do you not use it?
It's another good question. In the example "la camisa roja" roja is an adjective and can modify camisa (and it has to agree with camisa) Debito is not an adjective, it is a noun. In English, you can modify a noun with another noun - debit card, car door, football game, drug abuse, village church, kitchen window, etc. In Spanish, you can't do that. If you are trying to use a noun to modify a noun, you will need a preposition (almost always de). So, in Spanish, the examples above are: tarjeta de debito, puerta del coche, partido de futbol, abuso de drogas, la iglesia del pueblo, la ventana de la cocina. Hope that helps!

Ahh...because of the gender/number! What you're saying makes perfect sense, but there is another rule at work. The vast majority of compound words in Spanish are masculine. They are formed with a verb and a plural noun: el abrelatas, el cortauñas, el lavaplatos, el paracaídas, el sacapuntas, el abrebotellas, el guardabosques, el cumpleaños, el salvavidas, el matamoscas, el parabrisas etc. When these are plural, you just change the article: los paraguas, los abrelatas, etc. Un paraguas may still be annoying, but at least there is some pattern to it. 😊

This would be perfect if on each episode you'd concentrate on one aspect of grammar e.g. preterito, imperfecto, conditional, verbo ir;ser;estar, etc.
