thanks man. been checking 10 "guides" on how to set up the ssh. Not even one tutorial mentioned that you should not have "#" for the PermitRootLogin. Also all of the tutorials fail to mention that you can edit the config file by going to the ssh folder location, open the folder as root, and simply edit the config file with text editor.
Hey, I do not have the option to edit PermitRootLogin on my Ubuntu inside my VPS, is there any reason why? I tried to edit as you did to put PermitRootLogin yes because it is setup as NO, but it does not allow me to change the option. It does not let me override it.
