I made new videos of this restroom, except this time with my phone light so you can see better. I also filmed in the women's room and there were 2 Sanistand urinals! (1 original, 1 from the 60's)
Those 1957 toilets were the stars of the show!
Amazing restroom
And man I love that trapway design. Epic and useful
Super cool!!! The syphon on the men's room urinals was really interesting as well.
Amazing Fixtures!!!!!
Such a cool bathroom! These look just like my 1938 Modernus bowl only with the green logo. VintageToiletsVT has a 1959 Modernus bowl in his collection and on his channel that is a little different. The design was cheapened a bit, but it looks like they made the front of the bowl just a bit deeper which is nice. The front base can be a toe stubber as well. The base on my Modernus is very worn, probably from years of people scraping it with their shoes.
vintage kohler
If you ever get around to pulling it out, you should try your Modernus bowl on some low pressure/ low consumption tests and see how well it will siphon at extreme low water! I’m sure that bowl set to 1.6 gal on a low tank will outperform pretty much any modern toilet nowadays
Outstanding job!!!!!!
These restrooms are awesome!
amazing oldies!!
AMAZING RESTROOM!!!!!
The song Riders On the Storm reminds me of a park restroom which is one hell of a dirty smelly, freezing cold place. When you're in the restroom, it can absolutely terrify you to death, and the echo in the restroom is the most horrible metal echo that I've ever heard. And not only that, a metal call microphone that is in one far wall of the rest room, screams in a very, very very very loud, harsh, angry metal voice,
"ONE EGG! THREE CHEEZBUGGAS WITH FILTHY, DIRTY FIDDLE STRINGS ON TOP!"
-Mark Weintraub.
Fantastic! Those stall doors look too low, though.
They are, I’m about 6 foot and they are at my chin level
I agree
One of the schools I go to, the walls are like 5,4 inches tall.
Amazing bathroom
I love “Standard” Modernus
amazing restroom
I love those
Madison Campground in Yellowstone National Park has 2 Standard Stallbrooks and 2 Standard Maderas. I haven't been since 2019 so idk if anything got replaced
Epic fixtures
Is this the park in Ridgewood, NJ?
This looks like a restroom at Stony Brook State Park in Dansville, NY.
2:54 That’s a LONG FLUSH!
Why didn't you flush 3 of the Modernuses?
I once found a modernus on a flushometer at the hair salon my aunt works at
When/What Year Is That "Modernus" From?, When/What Year Was That "Modernus" Made?
@@user-we3ow3io6mI think around the 40s or 50s
Cool
Sanistands ard badass!
Some had tanks as well.
The first urinal like a cato terra
The stalls are too low but good restroom!
4:02 Short flush
Nice vintage restrooms! Very clean. Why would the first two stalls in the womens restroom have the "Standard" Sanistand urinals...? You then flushed stall #3, then took a peek at stall #4, ignoring stalls #5 - #7. Then at the end of that about 06:00, you repeated almost all of the men's restroom flushes. What gives?
Both Bardons, the 1941-1962 and 1988-1993 models had a siphon flush, weird 🤔.
They might have been Stanwells.
I see a NOVA!!!!!!!
Wow! What kind of toilet is that in the ladies room? It looks like a men's urinals'.
It's a women's urinal, designed for women to use by squatting and doing their business without having to sit down or squat on a toilet. It was a thing of the past though, although it was more sanitary, it never caught on and many thought it was too uncomfortable and by the late 60's they had been phased out
@@toiletsroc are those seats beneke round ones?

Its weird how the modernus with that water level structure lasted that long, itd be extremely unlikely to see that type of modernus with a block as most newer modernus would have a trapezoid water level structure
Stupidesigns. Waste shouldrop into water. Not onto dry bowl surface where it sticks. When I find such, I place toilet paper on the waste with paper in the "pool" so capillary action of the paper wets the waste so that it will flush away.
