Isn’t that a great feeling to know that you can do that and feel confident about it!🤗 I know at first it seems intimidating but I’m more comfortable with trimming my pieces now too! 💕😊👍
You're welcome! Sometimes I add bangs but I've been trying to hold off cutting until I've worn a new style a few times just to see how it lays before I start hacking away at it! lol 💕😂😉👍
Thank you Jenny! ... and hahaha I think it's important for people to see that every wig isn't perfect on me! lol 🤣😂🤣 I struggle just like everybody else, but honestly, it was a pretty easy fix! 💕😊👍
Thank you Bobbi! No, Mariah is a regular non-heat safe synthetic, but I find that if I spritz the fibers with water first that using the hot air tool for a brief amount of time tends to work just fine without any damage! 💗😊👍
Excellent! Before I trimmed my first bang I watched those 2 videos till I was cross-eyed! But it gave me the confidence to even attempt it! I didn’t do as good as a job as I had hoped BUT I learned by having done it all. Next time I just won’t cut too short before point cutting and then heat-styling the bang. Anyway those vids are a good review. Thank you Beth 💕
I'm glad to hear that my videos were helpful for you Suzzane! 😊👍 ... and yes, I can't stress enough to cut the bangs longer than you think because if you decide to point cut and curl them at all that shortens them up even more! Hope you're having a great day dear! 💗💗💗
Hi Beth, This such a great tutorial. I usually cut in the bangs straight across but lately I’ve been enjoying the side swept bang. Very helpful. As always you look beautiful. Appreciate all your help. Thanks ❤
So glad that you found this hepful Pauline! Trimming bangs always seems intimidating at first so I thought it was important to show this. Thank you dear! 💛😊👍
I’d like to add a couple of professional tips. Don’t pull the hair too tight and don’t lift it too high. Pulling the hair too tight might result in it being too short and elevating the hair can give the bangs layers. Barb from Take Control Beauty is also a retired hairstylist and has a good method for trimming bangs. You did a good job!
So nice, your a pro !! ,Isn't it nice to just cut more bangs ,cuz I sure can't do that on my bio hair ,ha,ha thank you for the info ,Teresa in Mn Blessings to you
Awww thank you Teresa! 🥰 ... and hahaha I can't do that to my bio hair either since there's nothing there! lol 😂😁 Wigs are a life saver! 👍 Have a great day my friend! 💖
Happy Saturday Beth! This was a fun video. So helpful and informative. Thank you! I always cut my fingers and the palms of my hands when cutting my bangs. It's a bloody mess! 🤣 I like cutting my own hair. 💞
Hi Gloria! 💕😃 oh my goodness dear, you need to be careful!!! lol 🥴😲🥴 I do like to trim my own too, and sometimes I get scissor happy and Oops …wigs get shorter than expected! lol 😂 Have a great weekend my friend! 💖😀💖
My pet peeve with wig manufactures is when they put in the short, choppy, ridiculous bangs. Give us a longer, full bang and then we can trim and thin it as we want!
I think it’s great that you can go to a beautician and it’s definitely better that way if you’re not confident in trimming. It can definitely be intimidating and better not to take any chances as our wigs are an investment! 💗🤗👍
Ohhhh No, I know I came close there and had the scissors on my skin a few times but thankfully, I was spared from wounding myself! lol 😂 Note to Self: Be Careful with this!!! 💕😊👍

Thanks for demonstrating the bangs. I have to put bangs in all of mine. :))

@@BethsBestHair and that’s with all brands as well. I’d rather fight with an affordable wig than an expensive one.
@@jennysmith3406 So true, I'm with you on that 100%! 😂😂👍
Great video Beth

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻thank you for the help Beth!
You're welcome Brenda, happy to help! 💕😊👍
Mariah responded so beautifully to the hot air brush! Is she heat friendly? (Very helpful video, thank you as always!!!!)

I just cut the angle that i want, on a slant like, and it always turns out good. 👍
That is awesome! I like a side fringe like that too! 💕💖😊👍
I just love your channel. A lot of great tips and tricks and how to. Thank you.

So timely! I have a beautiful wig (I'm a newbie) that needs a trim, so thank you for this excellent tutorial, Beth!💗
Oh that's good, I'm so happy to help! Just remember to take it slow and trim longer than you think at first! I'm wishing you all the best! 💕😊👍

This is Buttered Toast SF 10/26
What e

The curly wig is Mariah and straight wig is Veronica. Both in buttered toast. Both wigs are discontinued! 💛

Sometimes the styles do have the choppy bangs or dirty bangs but I prefer a curtain bang as I like to side sweep my bangs! 💛🤗👍
@@BethsBestHair Right! If they're going to do a bang let it be long and full so it can be trimmed to suit.
You look so pretty
That's so sweet of you to say, thank you! 🥰

I don’t have that courage I just go to my beautician 😊

Helpful. Almost every time I cut my husbands hair, I cut myself. 😮
