I heard that it is possible to create mountainous landscape, nature-like clouds, bushes... But also it would be interesting to start with something like Mandelbrot Set. after the the g + 0.5 right before you add the animation value to it, should be able to add the polar coordinate's r value * a value (that value is the intensity of the spiral) to the output of the g + 0.5. It could also be after the spinning is added, anywhere before the frac should be fine.
