I just rewatched the first few seasons and for any baby to constantly be in front of so much screaming for his whole life has to take a toll psychologically. I really hope he’s okay and will grow up normally, I think it’s kind of sick that producers and a film crew just sat back and filmed.
The way jaces mom and. Grandma talk about no one being there for his birthday seems like something they shouldn’t say out loud. He wouldn’t know if something is wrong.

He was 2 so I don't feel bad for him in the sense that he didn't have anybody there because his world at that time was his mom and grandmother. I feel bad for him because he's 2 and Janelle's asking him do you know who is not showing up he left before she even left the hospital why even bring it up. SO SAD
Obviously janelle didn’t know how to be a mom which is why (at the time) she signed over custody. It’s been several years and she has more kids I’m sure she knows what she’s doing. Barbra loves to have that control over janelle always has. That’s her leverage on her. It’s the sad truth. I feel bad for jace to have to deal with the both of them constantly fighting.
Jennifer Cameron I always feel kinda sad for Carly because she didn’t get a chance to grow up with her biological parents like her siblings, but they did the right thing because who knows how things would have turned out if they didn’t give her to people mature enough to raise her

My youngest jus turned 1 and I don't talk baby talk to her and shes so smart for being a year old. The early head start teacher said look how you talk and she understands. I said ive always talked normal not baby talk to her... Everyone is different thou..

The part with Amber teaching her daughter to shave was actually so nice wtf... I literally shaved by myself in grade six because someome called me hairy and it was a bloody mess... I didn't even know how razors worked and this was before youtube so I literally cleaned the razor out with my finger... It was horrific... Also I feel like it's kind of a good step mtv normalizing women's leg shaving instead of it being this dark embarrassing thing that you have to navigate yourself

I didn't even know what her kid's names were. I skip over all the new girl's segments. I only watched the first 2 seasons of 16&P and only TM & TM2. So, I don't know any of the new girl's back stories. I wasn't interested in learning them and I even skipped over Brianna on this list. I did see a few moments here & there when it involved Javi. But I was watching because of him.

Both Jo and Javi are so good with Isaac. Jo is very attentive to him, and Javi is great at encouraging him in sports in such but in a gentle way. Isaac is so gentle and sensitive, I don’t think that’s always for dads to work around and they are great. He is a lucky kid.

YES ANYONE WHO HAD BEEN THERE SINCE THE BEGINNING ARE THE REAL IT'S I LITTERALY CRIED WATCHING THIS LIKE THEY WERE MY KID'S. I LOVE THIS SHOW BECAUSE AT THE TIME I HAD A 2YR OLD WHEN THIS 1ST CAME OUT, I WAS 18YRS WHEN I HAD MY 1ST CHILD. SO I SO CAN RELATE.
This show is never a true representation of what it's actually like to be a teen mom. They show the emotions sure but afterwards, they get a lot of money for being on the show. So they can afford these big cars and having their kids dressed in nice clothes. I work 2 jobs and my partner works 1 and we both still struggle immensely with bills, being able to have time to spend with our son and rely on second hand clothing a lot. Wish this show was more a documentary than a soap, if you know what I mean. A lot of negative stigma around teen parents that it would just be nice to show more than one side to.
At the beginning I think it was more like that especially with shows like 16 and pregnant because they weren’t being paid much , now that the franchise has gotten so big they are like spoilt celebrities really and it makes having teen kids look so fun/easy when it’s not
I don't think it's unrealistic. Yes, it's obviously not 100% real and raw like in 16 & pregnant.. but I don't think it's completely fake. They deal with drama that all types of moms deal with. Aside from them earning more money than the average young mom, the hardships and drama are pretty realistic to me.
Ixchel Gil yes but dealing with the hardships and drama is a lot easier because they get paid such a pretty penny from mtv. How were Jenelle and her husband able to buy a whole piece of land a build a huge ranch house and even when it was no where near ready to move into it didn’t matter because they could afford to stay in hotels. Even when the dads don’t pay much child support the women still get paid very well from the show, so even though they go through drama it’s a lot easier to deal with. It makes having a baby look very unrealistic
I literally cried while watching Jace's 2nd birthday. How can you say that in front of a child? The way he tried to smile when they said smile. The look in his eyes. I just celebrated my daughters first birthday two days ago and this really broke my heart to watch. I wish I could've been there and brought people and gave him a huge hug.

Both Jo and Javi are so good with Isaac. Jo is very attentive to him, and Javi is great at encouraging him in sports in such but in a gentle way. Isaac is so gentle and sensitive, I don’t think that’s always for dads to work around and they are great. He is a lucky kid.

This show is never a true representation of what it's actually like to be a teen mom. They show the emotions sure but afterwards, they get a lot of money for being on the show. So they can afford these big cars and having their kids dressed in nice clothes. I work 2 jobs and my partner works 1 and we both still struggle immensely with bills, being able to have time to spend with our son and rely on second hand clothing a lot. Wish this show was more a documentary than a soap, if you know what I mean. A lot of negative stigma around teen parents that it would just be nice to show more than one side to.

At the beginning I think it was more like that especially with shows like 16 and pregnant because they weren’t being paid much , now that the franchise has gotten so big they are like spoilt celebrities really and it makes having teen kids look so fun/easy when it’s not

I don't think it's unrealistic. Yes, it's obviously not 100% real and raw like in 16 & pregnant.. but I don't think it's completely fake. They deal with drama that all types of moms deal with. Aside from them earning more money than the average young mom, the hardships and drama are pretty realistic to me.
Ixchel Gil yes but dealing with the hardships and drama is a lot easier because they get paid such a pretty penny from mtv. How were Jenelle and her husband able to buy a whole piece of land a build a huge ranch house and even when it was no where near ready to move into it didn’t matter because they could afford to stay in hotels. Even when the dads don’t pay much child support the women still get paid very well from the show, so even though they go through drama it’s a lot easier to deal with. It makes having a baby look very unrealistic

I literally cried while watching Jace's 2nd birthday. How can you say that in front of a child? The way he tried to smile when they said smile. The look in his eyes. I just celebrated my daughters first birthday two days ago and this really broke my heart to watch. I wish I could've been there and brought people and gave him a huge hug.
