That's why it's hard to get Japanese entertainment content without paying their streaming services. You're lucky that anime is more open now, but back then we had to watch 1 episode of Anime with 30 parts with fansubs and in 360p max. Same with K-pop idols doing Japanese interviews, we rarely see official videos uploaded, only fan rips or cams. And what's wrong with them promoting in Korea and sing in English? K-pop idols promote in America with Korean lyrics too but they don't get scrutinized there. Only recently they released English songs to cater to more international speaking fans. Obviously we see some discrimination happening here.. When Japanese people consume K-pop content, it's alright with them and now they are doing the reverse, they can't take it? Damn. K-pop idols and companies are lucky too that the former CEO of AVEX eventhough he's an asshole, embraced Korean idols to promote and release their albums with their help in Japan.
