Great vid! Thank you. I love the sound of those pickups and the 70's era rock sounds (especially from UK bands). Will you be demoing any clean sounds? Mark Bailey built me one of his 'Bandsman' models a little over two years ago. For the pickups, I asked Bloodstone Guitarworks in Derbyshire to wind a matched pair of open coil humbuckers to 10k with Alnico 3 magnets and also make the loom. They're based on the custom buckers from Gibson, which I really liked out of many for their mix of clarity and warmth but just a little hotter. I couldn't be happier with them in the Bandsman.
Considering they're uncovered AND on a maple body, the Ts were surprisingly darker than the PAFs - even a little nasal. I certainly didn't hear "more treble and presence". I prefer the PAF this time.
Joe what speaker should I get for my 15 watt stageright amp? I want something that is well balanced and versatile. I am leaning toward celestion cream or blue. I am afraid I will blow the blue because it’s 15 watt power rating. What do you think? What is your favorite speaker? Should I consider the gold as well?
I'm not a big fan of PAF but i really enjoyed those T-Tops. I really like their tightness.
Enjoy the video very, definitely the T-Tops better than the Paf's. Thanks for you efforts you rock.
Thanks so much for that Joe! Really appreciate all your effort into making a great video!

Peace Joe! ✌👍👍 T-Tops Please.
I agree the T tops have that advantage actually.

I like those PAF's, is that those Throbaks?
These are T-Top pickups (made by Northern Pickups), not PAFs
How do you buy that vajra amp? Where do they sell it.
