There are Native Americans with HEBREW and other Middle-Eastern languages and customs PRESERVED in their tribes even to this day. It's an undeniable fact. Enjoy! ua-cam.com/video/1vcem3miWvY/v-deo.html

      Interesting video. Thank you.
Are you familiar with the idea of the Phoenicians discovering America around 600bc and probably much earlier? Including a copper trade... among everything else we could imagine Im sure.
      ua-cam.com/video/NmQMnm_CcCs/v-deo.html
      Also, this:
      gnosticwarrior.com/jews.html
Obviously.. another strange synchronicity that we have the same name and last name initial. :P
Also, my highly intuitive friend suddenly met a guy in the states who asked for the help of her gifts to explore bones in mounds just yesterday.. The idea of Mounds and bones has never entered into my awareness, until yesterday, and your video... Down the rabbit hole we continue.. Blessings.

Regretfully, Michael, there is no indication that any of the many and varied languages of the original inhabitants of the western hemisphere are related to the Semitic languages or even to the other Afro-asiatic languages of which the Semitic langauge family is a member. Indeed there are several diverse language families in North and South America, which are not related to one another or, at best, could possibly be remotely related to one another. The Mayan languages, for example, are typologically ergsative-absolutive languages, while the semitic languages are nominative-accusative languages. One can always find a few random correspondences of vocabulary or morphology, but to really show a liguistic relationship, there would have to thousands of correspondences and systematic relationship between the correspondences. For example, we find a very close relationship among Latin, Ancient Greek and Sanscrit, based upon thousands of correspondences, as well as systematic, explainable differences amonfg the three languages.

Cool. Now all you need to confirm those areas as "Book of Mormon lands" is evidence of ancient horse culture, wheeled vehicles, metal tools and weaponry, evidence of Judeo-Christian worship, Hebrew or Egyptian language, etc.

I really appreciate the people who post audio versions of the scriptures on UA-cam. When I have an upsetting event, all I have to do is listen to the scriptures and I get back in check. If persons can read (even Braille) or hear, no reason not to do the scriptures daily. Thank you from the desert country.

As I spoke with and researched prayerfully into the native peoples of America this became more & more clear. Cahokia Mounds another amazing site across from St. Louis in Illinois. Museum there, also. I’ve been there in 2017. Worth the trip. Huge mound has the feel of a sophisticated civilization there, no denying that. Amazing to me that the Hopewells and their numerous artifacts are not given the same press as Aztecs and Mayans, whose more glamorous structures still stand. The Book of Mormon is indeed the truth. These people who were wiped out by the millions, lived and worshipped Jesus Christ.

The fact that there are opposing groups of believers in the Book of Mormon who theorize locales for its events which are thousands of miles apart from each other tells us that there isn't enough evidence in either location to even begin to determine where they occurred, or if they occurred at all.
The population figures and culture and technology described in the BOM dictates that unambiguous physical evidence to confirm their existence should have been found decades ago. That evidence should be as abundant as the artifacts from the Mayan empire. "Nephite" cities with their original names should be scattered all over the Americas, just as there are Mayan and Aztec cities with their original names. But none have been found. Obvious conclusion: They never existed.

I have not been to any of these mounds. I live in Asia. I've never seen Joseph Smith. Nor any of the LDS prophets nor any of it's general officers. But I've read the Book of Mormon. I know it's true. It is scripture, much as the Bible is scripture. The test is very simple.
Read it with the a sincere heart and real intent, and pray about it with same sincerity and real intent. It's plain and simple. If you read it to find faults on it, that won't work. You have to read it with real desire to know the truth, with faith in Christ that He will let you know if it's true or not. This test has never failed a sincere person who really wants to know the truth. IT HAS NOT FAILED ME. NOR THE THOUSANDS, MILLIONS WHO DID IT.
"3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost."

No evidence of metal has ever been found anywhere in North America that existed prior to European contact in the the 16th century. @Ralph Wiggam That is the dumbest attempt at an insult. First of all, many many hard metal swords have been dug up all across the midwest area. In addition, why would the dead be buried with their weapons, especially in light of the fact that weaponry would have been difficult to make? Don't be dumb.

      Ralph Wiggam en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metallurgy_in_pre-Columbian_America

    • @scoobertdoovan
      @scoobertdoovan 4 роки тому

Ralph Wiggam there is also evidence of iron working in north america (see the same article) and just because there’s hasn’t necessarily been a steel sword found, keep in mind that they are notoriously difficult to find anywhere in the world, even from biblical lands. the majority of the BOM people’s would have used copper tools

    • @scoobertdoovan
      @scoobertdoovan 4 роки тому

@Ralph Wiggam you failed to see that i said "steel" swords. and yes, the earliest found STEEL sword from biblical times is 600BC, despite mentions of them earlier. no dip they have found tons of swords, but steel swords are a different matter. the people who owned them were wealthy, and there were very few of them, making them difficult to find.
by all means, continue trying to "fix the world" by wielding your sword of hatred, pun intended.
i'm not "lyin for jesus", you're deliberately ignoring part of what I said.
also on your bit of "there are literally thousands of artifacts of native americans using spears", yeah they definitely used spears. if you read the book of mormon, it speaks of the lamanites and the nephites using spears, clubs, and other types of native american weaponry. the swords were , in the example of the sword of laban, rare and used by those with status, AS WE HAVE SEEN ALL AROUND THE WORLD this is how swords were distributed. accusing me of lying does nothing to hide your faulty logic, as well as the fact that you would grasp any straw to prove this book untrue. i'm very sorry if you have had bad experiences with mormons, but grow up and don't let it ruin your life. there are bad people everywhere, and if you make it your mission to destroy whole groups just because of bad experiences with a few, you'll be miserable.
      good luck.

    • @scoobertdoovan
      @scoobertdoovan 4 роки тому

Ralph Wiggam let’s also conveniently ignore the dna similarities between jews and the hopewell indians, the advanced armor systems found in the mounds, the fortified cities that match the descriptions in the BOM precisely, the finding of middle eastern artifacts, the geographical evidence (where things are located, seas rivers and wilderness,), the concrete work found, BARLEY being in north america, and the strange amount of intelligence it would have taken for Joseph Smith, a man with a first graders education (who didn’t even know jerusalem had walls) to come up with such an intricate story that has no plot holes, the writing styles of each prophet is different, and miraculously has countless evidences of it being real, that i’ve just listed above, and there are even more then i’ve said. you’re picking apart my words to try to counter me with minute, stupid logic, that doesn’t even follow what i said in the first place, and you’ll likely do it again. “show me evidence of middle eastern artifacts” grow up. move on, and don’t pick fights where you know you’ll lose. my previous statement also still stands, i hole you find peace after this with God and your fellow man.

My father back in the late 80 s early 90 s just by reading the book of Mormon was able to show the same thing Wayne says ,same neck of land same continent. I know it's true because the Lord always gives more than one witness. And there are many others who have figured it out too. Joseph Smith never said it was in south or central America he has always said it was here in the u.s.

What's been presented here is definitely interesting. There are a lot statements that have been made that provide clues to the Book of Mormon geography. I think it helps, to interpret these statements more broadly rather than narrowly, however. I believe that the majority of evidence points to the Book of Mormon events primarily taking place in Central America, mostly because of travel distances of armies during wartime. These descriptions would suggest that the geography was relatively small. It would take a certain amount of days to march from one city to another, etc. Most church leaders and scholars hold this opinion as well. The majority of official church visuals, movies, videos, and art show a tropical, Mesoamerican setting. Just to quickly address some of the points made in the video: 1. I also believe that Joseph Smith's Zelph prophecy is true. We know that the Nephites migrated northward many times in ships and on land. The Book of Mormon specifically mentions the People of Ammon (who were Lamanites) moving into northern lands. There's no limit to how far northward these people could have traveled and they could have had prophets raised up among them. 2. Statements by Brigham Young about the Gadianton Robbers inhabiting the mountains around St. George could be a literal statement, but more likely, figurative. If there were wicked men who had lived in the area anciently, and their spirits resided in the mountains, then his statement could still be true. 3. The assumption that the city Manti was in Missouri is a big one. According to the video, the assumption is being made because of two journal entries from members of the church who were under that impression. These could have been rumors. I don't think there was an official statement made by Joseph Smith on the issue. 4. Also, when Book of Mormon prophets speak of future events happening in "this land", "this land" could easily be referring to North America. It could even be both North and South America. 5. Also, with all the parallels between Hopewell and Israelite cultures, there's no reason why other groups couldn't have been lead out of Jerusalem to the Americas. In fact, we know that "God has lead away from time to time from the house of Israel" (2 Nephi 10:22). There's nothing in scripture that says that the Jaredites, Lehites, and Mulekites were the only people lead to this land. We know that the America's were full of different cultures and peoples that had nothing to do with the Book of Mormon. In the Book of Mormon we're told that the writings only contain a small fraction of what was going on with so many people. 6. I think that Moroni, could have wandered for many years with the plates before getting to what is now New York state. During which time, I believe he dedicated the hill on which the Manti temple was built. Anyway, just my two cents.

Ether 13:3 Referring to the land where the Lord brought the Jaredites and the Nephites, Moroni states this land "[will be] the place of the New Jerusalem which should come down out of heaven, and the holy sanctuary of the Lord." Modern revelation tells us this location will be in Missouri, which is the gathering place for this remnant of the House of Israel. Why would the place of gathering be in Missouri if the people are from Central or South America?

Then they refuse to read the record which proves the validity of the Bible and testifies to the divinity of Jesus Christ. The history of people God guided from the old world over to the America's is quite fascinating whether you choose to believe or not. There is some very fine research and information presented here, which is greatly appreciated. But because we have conclusive evidence that Moroni's Cumorah was in New York, that does not prove that the narrow neck of land and Zarahemla was north of Adam-ondi-Ahman, or any where that near Cumorah. You can study my manuscript on file at the BYU Maxwell Institute entitled, “Where Does the Two Cumorah Theory Stand?,” by L. La Mar Adams, which shows how the Prophet Joseph and Book of Mormon passages puts the narrow neck of land and Zarahemla far south of Missouri. To say that the Nephits did not exist at least as far south as Central America, in addition to their later living in the US area, is not only contradicting the Prophet Joseph, and most other prophets who have written on the subject, but a number of Book of Mormon passages.

Are you familiar with the Texas Sharp-shooter fallacy?
Mound builders are thought to have been in the area since roughly 3500 BCE to 16th century CE. So already those dates do not comport with the book of Mormon timeline of them coming to the area after Lehi left his home in 600 BC.
Also.. I highly doubt the bones would be just laying where they can pick them up... Considering the amount of that passed they would have to dig for them...

Hi A.J., that is correct over-all, but there are 3 mound-builder cultures: 1) The Late Archaic/Adena (approx. 3500 - 300 BCE); then 2) The Hopewell (approx. 500 BCE - 400 CE); and finally 3) The Mississippian (approx. 900 - 1600 CE). The Adena match the Jaredites. The Hopewell match the Nephites/Lamanites. And this is not in timelines alone, but in cultures, artifacts, linguistics, and Native American histories. Then there's a 500-yr gap in mound-building cultures. The Mississippian culture are post-Book-of-Mormon people. According to some Native American tribes, the Snake People (the Mayans) came up from the south, enslaved the smaller tribes for several hundred years, and forced them to build the pyramid-style mounds you see at Cahokia and other places in the southern U.S. (similar to the stone Mayan pyramids, which are exactly the same as the stone pyramids in southeast Asian cultures - Maya and Guatemala are Hindu and Buddhist words as well). But anyway, the 3 different mound-builder cultures are very distinct from each other.

What I want to speak directly about is the fact that Adam-ohdiahman was already established to be the land where Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden known as Davies County in Missouri. So the land north and east of there was where the Nephites and jaredites dwelt over the years to establish themselves close to Adam-ohdioman. I want you guys to realize when I visit these areas in Northern Missouri I feel things inside my body as a connection to the land and what was there throughout the years. This is a holy land because I do not feel these kinds of things anywhere else but these lands that are asociated with the church. These things are not a connection to just our church they are a connection directly to our Heavenly Father when I feel them because the land is blessed spiritually and cannot be passed off as a specific thing that they are attached to. Most Mormons only know soo much about their bodies being a direct connection to their Heavenly Father and the connection to these lands because they've hardly ever felt these things before or know that there is a direction connection between them.

Looking at official Church History documents, the area across from Nauvoo was named Zarahemla out of tribute to the Book of Mormon city of Zarahemla. The same is the case with the area farther south being named Manti. When the Saints relocated to Utah, they continued this practice in naming the cities of Bountiful, Lehi, Nephi, Manti and I'm sure a few others. You should read "The Book of Clues for Book of Mormon Geographers" available on Kindle. It proves from the pages of the Book of Mormon itself that the river Sidon actually ran from south to north. The Mississippi flows from north to south, and always has.

Think about that, after around 180 years the Mormon church still doesn't know where the Book of Mormon lands are.
This problem could be rectified once and for all by a church sponsored comprehensive archeological search on and around the 'hill Cumorah', ( an area that the LDS church actually owns).
Joseph Smith's Book of Mormon describes an truly enormous battle at this sight with tens of thousands of armed warriors dying in a desperate struggle.
Many thousands, perhaps millions of artifacts,( steel armour, weapons etc, and of course human remains) must be waiting to be discovered.
This in itself would prove beyond reasonable doubt that North America was the location of the book of Mormon, and that the Nephites and Lamanites really existed, and there really was a great battle at Cumorah.
Also the book of Mormon would be shown to be historically accurate and credible, and Joseph Smith's claim to be a prophet of God and translater of golden plates would be proven true, beyond reasonable doubt.
However, the LDS church has never looked for this evidence 'waiting to be found', and never will.
They know that nothing would be found.
Yet they spend millions of dollars annually doggedly promoting the book of Mormon as truth.
As a claimed accurate historical account, the book of Mormon is ranks as probably the most incorrect book on earth, yet it remains to this day the 'keystone' of that faith, the authority and credibility of both Joseph Smith and the LDS church hang on that keystone.
Read the Holy Bible and trust it completely as God's complete and finished revelation to all mankind through all the ages.
Kind regards to all, especially dear Mormon folk.

Excellent video, Michael. You may have seen my book on Amazon, Finding the Lands of the Book of Mormon and also Finding Zarahemla. Like you, I didn't follow any archaeological data for my books, I rely solely on Mormon's description of the land south and the narrow neck of land in Alma 22:32. I disagree with you that South America is the land southward. That title of South America was not in use until the time of Joseph Smith. He made the comment that All of America is Zion. In his day this was Spanish America, later Mexico and Central America, British America, later Canada, and the U.S.
It's popular to believe that Columbus discovered America but in his four voyages across the Atlantic he only went to the Caribbean Islands and never set foot on North America. The U.S. is the only country that believes it was Columbus while the rest of the English speaking world believes it was John Cabot.
I believe it was John Cabot that was the "man among the Gentiles" that Nephi saw in vision.

I just want to point out that I accept the King James Version of the Bible as the absolute truth and inspired Word of God, and I understand the Mormon Church uses this version of the bible as well.
The thing is though, while the bible was written before and shortly after the death of Christ, and again was accepted by the Church as the true and inspired Word of God, the subsequent book of Mormon wasn’t written until the 1800’s, after Joseph Smith allegedly received some golden tablets from an angel named Moroni.
Here’s the question I have, however, that I haven’t seen brought up by others. If you can accept that God is perfect and all knowing and that the King James Version of the bible is the true inspired Word of God, then why would God need to send an angel, whose name is not mentioned in the bible by the way, in order to change His Word and start a whole new religion through having Joseph Smith proclaim himself as a modern day profit, followed by his writing of the Book of Mormon. The answer is that God wouldn’t do this, because He got it right the first time.
What really stands out to me as well though is the fact that it is well documented Joseph Smith was a convicted felon of multiple offenses, including theft and attempted murder, who was practicing divination or the summoning of spirits using a spirit stone, when he received a visit from an "angel". And I would just note here too that such practices are condemned and forbidden by God in the bible. Furthermore, he was searching for gold when he was summoning a spirit, when he received his visitation and was given the "golden tablets". My point here is that Joseph Smith was not visited by an angel of God, but most likely by the very devil himself who gave Smith his "revelation", and that Smith is a false profit who started a false religion that is leading millions of people away from God and to eternal damnation in Hell, if they don't realize the truth and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

But also, from other sources such as Jesus Truth’s channel, it’s reported that Mormons believe that God had a mother, that God has a wife on another planet who he has spirit babies with, that they (Mormons) themselves will become gods (small case g emphasized here, as there is only one God in Heaven) and be able to make spirit babies of their own for their own special planets if they live perfect lives, that Jesus and the devil were brothers, that special magical underwear is required to ward off evil doing, and that black people were originally white people who became cursed for siding with the devil and became black folks who were unworthy of temple worship or associating with. This of course is all blasphemous, heretical and absolutely unbiblical nonsense, none of which of course is volunteered by the Mormon missionaries when they're going around knocking on people's doors trying to gain new converts for the devil.
All I can ultimately do however is lean on the true Word of God, and in the end if someone cannot except that as true then there’s nothing more I can do but to pray for them. I feel that it’s my responsibility as a Christian to do what I can to witness to others though, so at least they will have heard the truth whether they choose to accept it or not.
But if you want to know that you’ll receive eternal salvation, just remember that 1 Corinthians 15 tells you that you will be saved if you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of our sins, was buried, and that He rose again on the third day and ascended into heaven where He sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty. A sinner’s prayer would include a believer professing all of this, but also should include repentance and the asking of forgiveness for all of your sins (Mathew 4:17). Once you’ve done this, by professing your faith, believing in the gospel and repenting of your sins, then the bible says that you will be saved and that you WILL go to Heaven!!! Just remember though that Mary can’t save you, Allah can’t save you, Buddha can’t save you, and Joseph Smith can’t save you… Only Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior can save you; as Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) peacewithgod.net/
Once you’ve done this, by professing your faith, believing in the gospel and repenting of your sins, then the bible says that you will be saved. Sadly though, for those who refuse to accept this free gift offered through accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they face eternity in outer darkness, separated from the true Love of God forever. Hopefully, you will see the truth and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and turn away from the false teachings of the Mormon Church which is doing nothing but leading its followers into eternal damnation.

I have read it more than once, but it's very evident that you have not based on what you've said here. I would highly recommend that you check out some of Jeff Durbin's videos on youtube where he's talking to groups of Mormons, as you're following a false religion, which was started by a false prophet who received his "revelation" from the devil. He makes some very good arguments while discussing the true gospel from the King James Holy Bible, and clearly shows why Mormonism is completely wrong and false. Time is short as Jesus is coming back soon, and now is the time to turn from the lies you've been taught in the heretical and blasphemous Mormon church.

My Dear, Do you believe that Heavenly Father loves you less than ancient peoples? It is important to understand that you came from royal lineage and are as important as anyone ever born, no matter what century. Just as you keep a journal for your posterity, ancient peoples here did the same. We all have something to teach our children and grandchildren. WE ARE THEIR GRANDCHILDREN! Our families in the Book of Mormon are teaching us. The devil is very cunning. He knows our weaknesses. He can see our strengths. He knows you can be a force for good. As you fall to your knees tonight ask Heavenly Father what your mission in life is, is it really to tear another’s beliefs apart? Contention, created loving in guidance or not, is still contention and contention is of the devil. Allowing the Light of Christ to guide you can be overwhelming at times if we are not prepared to listen and change. We came to this Earth to be tried and tested. We were not sent here to judge others, only love them. We can quote scripture all day, but that will not draw us closer to our Savior. I pray you find the light you are seeking, instead of trying to rob another’s. It’s a waste of previous time and energy, when we could be spend our time changing into what God intended for us to become while in this earthly state. I love you.

Satan was an Angel it says he was called the Son of the morning in the scriptures and that he was cast down, so he very well could have been the spiritual brother of Jesus. Also a God that shares his glory is much more believeable than one that hoards his power and glory to have all for his self. I would much more believe in one that creates and fosters his sons and daughters than having one let you sit in a cloud and play a harp.

I'm fully in agreement with your first half explanation of where the main Nephite settlements were likely to have been as there is much evidence which overlaps with Hopewell cultural places and timeliness. I find the far west stories less likely. Despite the fact that Brigham Young mentioned several things which you quoted, I cannot imagine the Gadianton robbers and others like Moroni being that far west and then still coming to Western NY at a later date.

riingram have you read the book? The 1830 version? Brother, that book is a made up book. I served in the church Bishopric for 5 years. That whole time, I knew nothing about Joseph Smith marrying 14 year olds, sending men on missions to marry their wives, or “translating” with a rock in a hat. Shot and killed two people, burned down a printing press that his second counselor was exposing his polygamy. His use of the Jupiter talisman, his love for Captain Kidd, who lived on the island of Cumorah in the capital city of Moroni. You have to evaluate the character of Joseph Smith. He was arrested and convicted of glass looking (stealing people’s money for his alleged ability to find gold with his seer stone. His direct addition of the KJV bible with errors was plagiarized. He also added complete sentences from Marco Polo, The Last War, View of the Hebrews. He said he was better than Jesus Christ. He preached that people lived on the moon. He gave numerous false prophecies. There is ZERO proof of the Book of Mormon archeology. Zero! He happened upon bones that he said was Zelph. His translation of The Book of Abraham is completely false. He DID not even adhere to the 10 commandment. He murdered, committed adultery, he covenanted his neighborhoods wives, he lied, he stole, he used the lords name in vain. He did, however, love his neighbors, like loved them sexually. You must criticize his character The Book of Mormon is not true You are under mind control, like I was for 48 years. It’s not easy to leave the church. But they were wrong on blacks, and they are wrong on gays. They make women inferior to men. The “priesthood” was never a real thing. He had several versions of the First Vision. Research the BITE model, Steve Hassan. The luciferian LDS is completely wrong. They have Satanic symbols, they perform works for the dead, which is not-biblical at all. I’m trying not to be disrespectfully, but your off the cuff suggestion, that I read the book, is a typical Mormon response. Mormons are the most judgmental group of people I have ever been a part of.

Rick McGhee I'm sorry you felt disillusioned. I was just released from a Bishopric as well. I've read the book many times in 2 languages. It is impossible for it to be made up. It adheres to too much history accurately. As for Joseph Smith, there is very little evidence about who he married and weather he had sexual relationships with them. Obviously he didn't have very many sexual relationships with them because there is no offspring to back that theory up. I personally don't doubt that he had sex with at least a few of his wives (even though there is zero evidence). But it doesn't bother me just as it doesn't bother me that Abraham had many wives with which he had children. I'm just glad that it is not around anymore. As for the 14 year old Daughter of Heber C. Kimball, Helen Mar Kimball, she went to her grave testifying that she and the Prophet never consumated a marriage. Fanny Alger was also young, but again there are no writings where she states that they had sex. Most of these marital situations were Temple sealings only with temple blessings promised. Having studied a lot of this history, I believe that there was a misunderstanding of how Temple sealings worked.

    • @Cryptosifu
      @Cryptosifu 7 років тому +5

riingram brother, why would a grown man marry a 14 year old. Doesn’t that bother you. The article of faith, states, that we will obey the laws of the land, and subjected to them. He didn’t. Polygamy was never legal. He attempted to make his own currency (treasonous). Doesn’t it bother you that we were told how he translated the plates, then the church comes clean with the truth (rock in a hat). They still teach it in primary that he was physically looking at the plates. The book my friend, is totally fabricated. Have you read anything of Swedenborg’s. How is it that the true church as been modified over time to conform to cultural events. People living on the moon and they dress like quakers who also live for a 1000 years. I applaud you for your civil debate. I hope that I’m not coming off abrasive. Take care. Love you brother.

    1st Nephi chapter 1:
Nephi when in Jerusalem escaped with his family to the Red Sea 250 miles, away by foot and in 600BC. Once they arrived his dad remembered his birth records were back in Jerusalem. So Nephi walks back 250 miles, kills a dude, gets birth records and walks back to the Red Sea 250 miles. His family so happy they got the records. No one was surprise this feat was actually accomplished. Then his dad remembered there would be no women in the new world for his sons to get freaky with. So they walk back to Jerusalem "250 miles" to look for chicks. They find chicks but these chicks had parents so Nephi, his two brothers, three chicks with their old parents walked back to the Red Sea "250 miles away", through the Arabian desert with no water and wearing flip flops. These are Super Jews who could have just walked to freedom.

Back when we lived in Veyo Utah, mid 70s. The newspaper in St. George every week would reprint an newspaper article that had been printed on that day a 100 years before in St. George. One was a story about the person who was in charge of the lumber mill in Pine Valley that milled lumber I believe for the Salt Lake Tabernacle. This individual came to the Prophet Brigam Young who was in St. George at that time and told Brigham that things at the mill were disappearing and it was a
problem. Brigham told him to move the mill to a new location.
Because it had been built on a mass burial location of Gadianton robbers and it was the spirits of the same causing the problems. He reported back sometime later and said the problem was taken care of. And that things were well with the new location.

Secondly, I can see that you subscribe to the theory that the BofM took place in North America v.s. the other school of thought that claims it happened in Mesoamerica. I'm trying to be neutral and study both schools of thoughts before I make my own conclusions. Now, I was wondering if you could help me with this: So based on archeological findings as well as what the BofM tells us, the Nephites went extinct around 421 A.D. My question is: Have any archeological findings been made after that date ? Meaning, did the Lamanites leave any evidence of their existence after 421 A.D ? I read somewhere that there is a gap archaelogically speaking between 421 A.D and 900 A.D. and what was found after 900 A.D. is not necessarily BofM related. Any ideas or help with this ?

The Book of Mormon never mentions the plains of the Nephites. But it does mention Nephites that sailed north looking for a new place to live. Perhaps Moroni, now an enemy in his own land, went looking for them. He never indicates where he intends to bury the Book of Mormon. I think it is just an assumption from a poor reading of the Book of Mormon that Moroni buried the record in the Hill Cumorah. The book itself never makes that claim.

Regarding the Zarahemla name around 13:50, Since Jerusalem is still existing, the "New" title is necessary. But, since Zarahemla is extinct, there's no need for a "New" in it. I feel like the Lord did not include "New" due to *that* rather because it is the same exact place.
That said, it could still very well be that it's (more or less) the same spot, no one knows.

Both central and South America. Nephites landed first in Chile, South America then they ended up in central America.

Do have to point out that the place where Joseph took out the plates wasn't necessarily the hill cummorah. Members at the time called it that and Joseph Smith made reference to it as hill commorah years later possibly going along with the nickname of the hill but there's no good evidence that it is the hill cummorah spoken of in the Book of Mormon.

A large part of southern Missouri used to be a sea

Yes! The Kaw tribe talk about how long ago, the lower Mississippi river actually used to be a massive inlet of the Gulf of Mexico, but a massive earthquake happened that raised up the land enough for the inlet to drain and be reduced to what is now the lower Mississippi river. And because of the New Madrid quake of 1811-1812, we know that massive earthquakes happen along the New Madrid fault line every few hundred years that shake the entire eastern half of the U.S. and alter its landscape.

@@MichaelP_IsMe there are also a LOT of fossilized sea creatures in the limestone, which is quite abundant in the area. I used to love pretending I was an archaeologist when I was a kid haha.

If the Book of Mormon took place at all you would not be wondering where it took place. Do you have to wonder where the Roman Empire took place? No. You go visit the sites.

Can you explain the narrow neck of land and why Mormon chose that for a strategic point to defend the North from the Lamanites in the South and where it is in North America?

In Alma 63:5-8, it talks about ships sailing in the west sea by a narrow neck of land that led into the land northward. What area would this be? In these verses it states that the ships were built by the borders of the land Bountiful and by the land desolation.

The importance of a "NewJerusalem" is it is the site of government. There can be various new Jerusalems whatever the capitol city is named. For example Salt Lake City was the seat of government for The State of Deseret. Salt Lake City sat by a dead salt sea with a new Sea of Gallilee located in Provo, Utah. The waters of Utah Lake (the New Gallilee)in Provo ran via the now named Jordan River into the dead salt sea. Salt lake City should have been called New Jerusalem but the religions of the day would not have allowed that designation. Still, what an amazing parallel is Utah to the land of Israel of the Bible.
The final "New Jerusalem" will eventually rule the world after Jesus comes in the clouds of heaven. For Jesus is the King of all men whether they know it or not.

Oh I live in St. Louis, oh and I know prior to it being called St. Louis it was actually called mount city, downtown St. Louis was hundreds and hundreds of Indian mounds the entire city and they were leveled by bulldozer only one remains, on the Illinois side there is the ancient site of Cahokia where a lot of the Indian mounts still remain, my questions to you do you have any insight on any of this tying it with the book of Mormon, I would love to see anything that you have, thank you for what you do!
    I appreciate you
