The fourth little lamb was too chubby to jump, he crawled under instead. The fifth little lamb wasn’t there at all, he must have stayed home in bed number six jumped around as confused as could be he didn’t know where he had been, he jumped over that’s true but before he was through he jumped over, jumped back and jumped over again. The next little lamb was the littlest lamb, too little for such a big leap. Though he tried like a scout he soon tuckered out and the littlest lamb fell asleep, the littlest lamb is asleep.

This episode originally aired September 19,1963 I was just a kid I’m sure I saw it when I was around 8 or 9 in reruns !! This was 1 of the greatest cartoons ever made !! There was no violence just singing,dancing and entertainment love and sharing the joy !! This brought back fond memories of being a child for me I just attended my classes 45th year reunion !! I was talking to a girl that I went to school with from first grade on I said to her it seamed like it was just yesterday Karen that we were kids she agreed !! It a shame that they stopped making these old cartoons !!

Like what did young adults do prior to gaming,on demand Streaming(netflix,HBO+,amazon prime and etc),social media and all the stuff that we have today.

A few years ago I met an older gentleman that tuned my piano a few times (I don't play the piano anymore). He was a musician in Vegas years ago and played in orchestras for Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. His mother was a singer and knew Ann-Margret. Anyway, this piano tuner told me Ann-Margret used to give him advise and who to trust and who to watch out for in Vegas when he first started playing there. Said she was the nicest person you could meet.
Believe it or not, when I watched this as a little kid during the 90's, I used to think that when she said "Now it's my turn to play" she meant something like it being her turn to take hold of a game controller and play a video game. And back then, I didn't know The Flintstones was made during a time when video game consoles didn't even exist. Sounds crazy I know, but hey I was just a little kid back then.
It just goes to prove that one random act of kindness can make the world of difference. Fred & Barney never left Bedrock, never became wealthy and famous but for that one moment in time they felt like the biggest stars in world. I think that they would remember that night for the rest of their lives.

If I recall properly, they were tracklisted but the label (Rhino Records) couldn't get approval on a clearance from Ann-Margret, so the Ann-Margrock songs had to be replaced at the last minute with other material.
The cartoon had a lot of stars on from t.v. and the movies!!!!!! I remembered when the Cartrights ,from Banazana rode into a western town and saved them from the bad guys!!!!!!!!!

This was prime-time network toonfare, and bear in mind the vintage. Four years in a row, if memory serves, ABC-TV (Stateside) premiered The Flintstones, then The Jetsons, then Top Cat, then Jonny Quest. The Flintstones ran longest, and this song stayed in my head the longest too.

Just picked up the Ann Margret Christmas song CD, nice, old school
If I recall properly, they were tracklisted but the label (Rhino Records) couldn't get approval on a clearance from Ann-Margret, so the Ann-Margrock songs had to be replaced at the last minute with other material.
Ann i believe said this was the best thing she ever did.

The cartoon had a lot of stars on from t.v. and the movies!!!!!! I remembered when the Cartrights ,from Banazana rode into a western town and saved them from the bad guys!!!!!!!!!

This was prime-time network toonfare, and bear in mind the vintage. Four years in a row, if memory serves, ABC-TV (Stateside) premiered The Flintstones, then The Jetsons, then Top Cat, then Jonny Quest. The Flintstones ran longest, and this song stayed in my head the longest too.

Yea I know I'm glad I bought the whole collection of the flinstones on dvd same with scooby doo Hey Arnold wild thornberries to. I miss the old cartoons can't stand this new crap they got on bring back the old stuff.
I remember really liking the bands on the Flintstones. I guess there were a lot of great musicians that could be hired.
This definitely a top ten moment of the show. Maybe even higher.
