SET APART Journey to Zion II [J2Z2]

When we lost our son Zion, it felt like a piece of our hearts went with him. The pain was so overwhelming that the desire to keep going seemed to fade away. In those early days of grieving, Jaymi and I found solace only in the hope of being reunited with him someday.
But amidst the darkness of our sorrow, we held onto the truth that Zion was now in the arms of his Creator, hidden with Christ in God. Our only chance of seeing him again was to draw near to the One in whom he now found his rest.
To anyone struggling with loss: while it's natural to want to escape the pain, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the One who brings healing and restoration.
Though the road ahead may be fraught with pain and uncertainty, let's keep pressing forward, keeping our gaze fixed on the One who holds our hearts and our hope. He makes all things new, and in Him, we will find perfect peace. #GriefAndGrace
