That last run of people just saying hello and randoms just being like "what up fresh baked" felt so great. You're one of the most authentic people who visit the parks to me. Also, I loved the old star tours but the new one makes me a little nauseous. Any tips for the new one?
Hi David, Star Tours is a must ride for me when I visit DL! When I get off the ride all I can think though is..."I'm so dizzy, my head is spinning. Like a whirlpool, it never ends."
When I rode Star Tours for the first time as a kid (circa 2005), I was blown away. Back then, it was my favorite ride in the park, and even to this day, it's still probably in my top 5. It may not have the history and charm of some of the classic attractions or the level of immersion and technological wizardry of some of the newer ones, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart (yes, even after they changed it).
Love Star Tours. Great memories of the long waits and the screams when switching to lightspeed. It’s the closest we ever got to living Star Wars for a long time.
David thanks for being you having fun in Disneyland and DCA and thanks for bring the joy of Disneyland and DCA to me through you amazing videos and yes I’m having the greatest time hanging out with you enjoying the parks also it’s always a special treat to have Liz around when she’s available now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you David and Liz and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you also please be safe out there peace ☮️ out ✌️
I *LOVE* Star Tours! It's my favorite ride hahaha! I'm only able to go to Disneyland about once a year, and I like to rope drop Star Tours in the morning so I can ride it 4 or 5 times in a row with no line! Best way to start a Disneyland trip! :)
Also one of my favorite things is when the ride is over, and everyone on the ride says “buh-bye!” at the same time and in the exact same way the droid voice-over says it. That always makes me so happy whenever that happens.
Ahhh.... LOVE Star Tours. I was 8 when it opened. It was the most amazing thing I had ever experienced. While some might argue it is outdated, it will always remain one of the most magical memories I have of being a carefree child 🧡💙
Hubby and I will be there next week and we are making a beeline towards Star Traders. Those new t-shirts with the storyboard art look so cool! My husband was majorly geeking out. Thanks for always putting out such informative and entertaining content!
I really enjoy star tours!!! I grew up in the 90’s and my parents introduced me to episode 4,5 and 6. Then 1,2 and 3 came out as I became a preteen and teen. It holds a special place in me heart.
The first time I almost cried when I met him he is so intimidating he points to where you should stand and you immediately go there!!! He made me so nervous I absolutely love him it’s like a love-hate relationship at the moment and I absolutely love Obi-Wan Kenobi
I just rode Star Tour for the first time in over a decade when I was there in April and loved it! All the shout-outs you were getting on your way out were so great. You deserve all the love you get for what you do! 💖
I like Star Tours always have. I just wish the stories would rotate more often. I only get to DL about 4-times a year and I seem to get the same story all the time! I too, get oddly flustered when I meet a character. I know exactly how you feel. Boy, you were a STAR on that trip.
Love Star Tours. My first trip to Disneyland was around the time (and basically BECAUSE) Star Tours came out. Although I will say that the older I get, the harder it is to ride. But ride it I do. Great video!
I LOVE Star Tours. Rode it back in the 1990's in WDW. BEST QUEUE EVER!! Just took the whole family to DL and rode the new version. WOW!!! My kids all are love it now too!
I love Star Tours! My mom and I also love Billy Dee Williams so we are always hoping we get Lando as the character. I’ve gotten lucky and seen him twice but my mom still hasn’t seen him 😢
Star Tours isn't one of my favorites, but my husband really enjoys it. One time we visited the ride our son was chosen to be the rebel spy. That made the ride more fun.
What's up Fresh Baked! You guys are terrific. The hard work & detail that you put into your content is much appreciated. I've been to Disneyland multiple times since I started following you guys & it' s been a lot more enjoyable for my family.
I'm a huge Star Tours fan. I was at Disneyland earlier this week, one night in the last hour I was able to ride Star Tours 3 times in a row. It was very fun.
Lol, Star Tours is up there with my favorite rides Friends and fam put up with me 😉 I love flying dangerously, while knowing I’m safely on the ground, and Star Wars!
LOVED this vid today! Your genuine excitement & love for disney is infectious! I have always loved star tours & everything star wars related. Bring from colorado & caring for my mom who has great difficulty w mobility, we havnt made it back to the parks since 2013, really missing the energy the parks generate. Hoping to visit again next year, good health & god willing. THANK YOU for what you do for us fans that are miles away.
I have always been a fan of Star Tours and I love the new merch. It has been several years since my last park visit. Another awesome video. Thanks for bringing us all with you each week.
I think Disney needs to get Darth Vader to speak. Boba fett speaks & sounds authentic. Why not Vader as well. It would take meeting him to a whole new level!
I love Star Tours! Hubby and I went on it four times in one day. 😂 Willingly! He loves it, too! Love all the fan love you get at the end of the video! Indicative of how much we love you!
Huge Star Tours fan here. I miss being able to go since I've had to move out of the area., but I'd always do Star Tours every time. Meeting characters is always a bit nervous for me, especially Kylo Ren and Darth Vader. Being evil their personas are meant to be intimidating. Thanks for the videos, I've been watching for about 4 years now and it helps me experience Disneyland at least a little since I'm no longer able to go.
I enjoy Star Tours, but won't wait more than 15 minutes to ride it. I would love to see Tomorrow land become Retroland. Bring back the people mover, Adventures through Inner Space, etc. They could do something fun with Space Mountain, too. Thanks so much for sharing--I always get the bug to get to the parks after watching your videos. Be careful with that impossible "meat"...you might need a "manzeer" before too long! 😁
I need to get those blueberry fritters! Those shirts with the special UV ink is black light reactive for the dark rides. I totally LOVE Star Tours!!! It's a must do every trip!!! And we get on it 2 to 3 times each trip. And that new merch is gonna make my wallet cry 😢.
That's cool - you just got a new fan!!! David I love how you're doing your videos at Disneyland now. You're showing rides, food, and merch! It's great!!! Keep up the great job😍💖💖
Rewatched the first three Star Wars movies this past weekend. Wrote on Twitter during the 3rd one: "Watching Star War movies again on TNT. Realized: if Palpatine is Rey's Grandfather *&* Anakin's father, & Anakin is Luke & Leia's father, then Luke & Leia & Kylo are Rey's cousins. Star Wars is a family feud with an abusive patriarch. Brought all the planets (galaxy) into that mess." LOL. I love Star Wars though...and all the associated rides.
LOL funny you said that…there was a PG-13 Star Wars clip I found on UA-cam with Palpatine creating the skywalker family tree. It felt like he was breaking the fourth wall. But anyways, he had a strong logical argument that proves Rey and Kylo could be cousins. However, we should not forget that Luke and Leia kissed in the original trilogy. So it’s all weird haha!😂😂
@@Ceelle2 if you are interested, the video is called “Star Wars family drama #tea”. It’s sooo funny. 😂😂😂 Yeah I think Luke realized he is kissing his twin haha!
I like star tours quite a bit, actually! I still like it now and I like that it gets mixed up with different stories. I wish Millennium Falcon Smugglers run was more like that!
Just visited Disneyland for the first time in 28 years over Star Wars Celebration and Star Tours was SO FUN! Love the rotating stories and got selected as the Rebel spy two times! Was absolutely thrilled and wish the anniversary merch was out when I was there. Love the videos and enjoy the content you make
I have always liked Star tours it's like the OG Star war's ride and unlike Smugglers run you never get the same show. It's always different C3PO is the pilot come on 🤣. The patch and jacket are awesome I'm an 80s child.
My sons are big fans of Star Tours. So nice of you to take a picture with my youngest on Tom Sawyers Island, June 3rd, he was there with his friends. I got jealous when he sent me the picture.
My mom is obsessed with Star Tours. The last time they want to Disneyland they rode is like 18 times or something crazy like that (over the course of 3-4 days).
I'm a real star tours fan! It's one of the only rides the whole family enjoys, even the nonthrill seekers. It's a must do every Disneyland day, and often we'll start or end the day with it! It's my mom's favorite ride, although I did finally convince her to try Millennium Falcon this last trip and I was shocked she enjoyed it. I know the theming sucks in Tomorrowland but I secretly hope Star Tours stays a while longer at least.
How funny! Looks like Vader is meeting folks in the "pre-show" area from the old Innovention days, anyone remember that? When that super-cool life-sized "Tom Morrow" audio animatronic greeted you as you were waiting to enter the building? I must say, the pre-show was better than the "acutal" attraction! And, once again, eating anything with the view of the Mark Twain going behind you is beautiful, no matter what you are eating 😄 But that vegan wrap does look yummy. Thanks for another great video, David!
I remember “Tom Morrow” from innoventions in Disneyland and “Tom Morrow 2.0” from EPCOT! I have to say…I enjoyed Innoventions at EPCOT compared to the one at Disneyland…I just could never get into it…The only part of innoventions at the end of its tenure had to be the dream home…I kind of like the upstairs where you got to be IronMan (before avengers campus) and you got to meet Thor, too. But it just was something I really didn’t bother with (unless I had friends from out of town or I was looking for somewhere cool on my day off as a CM). I’m just sad they have basically misused the space since then…
@@peterzimmer9801 Yes the Epcot Innoventions was better. although we only visited once. I have to say I spent a lot longer time inside the building as my young son was obsessed with all the games and gadgets!
@@lindasolis7117 EPCOT is a mess (has been since they got rid of horizons and world of motion), but as a teen..I loved all of the gadgets inside innoventions at EPCOT: Disneyland’s just reminded me of how bad that 1998 Tomorrowland was. *shudder*

Great & fun video. You aways make me smile. Star Tours is a big favorite of mine. My husband & I always would ride it first thing in the morning over and over as long as it was a quick walk on.
