I am not shocked nor surprised. 3, 4 times a year I go to the scrap metal facility to dump my waste metals and each time ... I come back with various items sometimes from long time ago but can serve me but were trown away to clean up houses or workplaces after a death of grand dad etc. There are numerous cars also that I would still repair, turned into scrap. In Belgium, in stead of trowing away , you can donate to a collecting centers (thrift stores) in many towns, such as clothings, jewelry, CD, books, furniture, toys, tools, shoes whatever which you can buy second hand after being checked for 5-10 Euros ... it became a big success and about 5000 people got a job in these centers there already too !
its hard to tell, but youd be surprised at what people throw away or sell extremely cheap just because they want it gone. Ive gotten so many free ride on lawn mowers that all I do is put a battery and some gas in and they run perfect.
No.. I've picked over many places like this. Its unbelievable what some people throw out.. I can understand you being a skeptic. You need to see it to believe it
