And that's why I have single swivel seats up front in my van. I did a similar drive; 15 miles to get fence paint from store in Cannock, 35 miles via A5 and M54 to get back home. My van, "Gandhi", loved the run so much, I swear she was blowing me kisses when I pulled up outside my house. I suppose now I'll need to drive 30 miles to the garden centre (3 miles from here) and buy some fence panels for the paint. It's a good job my wife loves me!
Thank you so much for another great video - you have the knack of cheering me up! So fed up of not being able to go far and now I’ve broken my arm so can’t drive (am subjected to white-knuckle rides with other half 😫🤣😉). You did a super job in your garden. Love the photo of the ice formations. 💕
You really got the right attitude. Keep the positivity my friend and keep sharing. Roll with the Up and downs, peaks and valleys (Toppar och dalar as we say in swedish) hope you can take a long van tour in the spring & summer
Thank you so much, I thrive on positivity, I figure that if I practice being positive I'll get really good at it! I am so looking forward to a huge tour this year, possibly the UK, get to see some places I have never been.
Great walk you took us on there Kniw how you feel, just dying to get out there and DIY is the order of the day...er....months and beer, and a wee dram if course, cheers! 🥃
Excellent vlog , love your spirit Colin , Yorkshire looking picture postcard 😎,looking to visit Gods country later this year especially when the bucket and spade brigade invade the South Coast. Enjoy your decking looks good 🍺.
The best purchase of the year for me was a pair of Kahtoola Nanospikes. I think they were £20 from Amazon. They just slip on your boots. You won’t look like your going to climb Everest either. They are awesome on ice and mud and could save you a trip to A&E. A great little investment I recommend.
Using the "lost in Europe" music and going on a epic adventure to knottingley! (Wakefield lol) brave man!. Im shouting at the screen THATS KNOTTINGLEY! And the wifes saying ive never seen anywhere in knottingley that looks like that! Lol. Nice video we enjoyed that 😁
Looks like Otley Chevin lad - great video and lovely to see God's County (I'm a former Ilkley lad now doing mission worth in t'South)...good presenter style too and that's coming from an ex BBC Look North man who is just about to buy his first van!
Yep, the Chevin has been a godsend during lockdown, so lucky to have it on our doorstep. Thanks so much for the feedback about my presenting style, that's super.... My technique is, ramble at a camera 🤣🤣 I bet you're pretty excited about the van too!
You need to get Vankraft folding seat bracket to make it easier to climb in back 😁 plus makes seat much comfier for family. Another good video till you can get away in van.
Hiya buddy it doesnt have a brand (a cheapo from Amazon) and sadly its not available any more. I may be getting another one soon (a better one) so I will do a video and upload a link to it too)
Soon, soon you will be rewarded with vanventures. It is coming - the only challenge with the entire UK only free to do the same thing, I foresee packed camp sites, and van parking areas. hmmm. But I will tolerate that to be out in the van.
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures In two years when everyone starts flying to Bennidorm again we can wild camp to our hearts content, knowing popping into a camp site for a leccy recharge and a shower will be an option.
Brilliant video thanks , love your blogs so natural and down to earth 🌍👍👍😀

Thats awesome mate... enjoy your van! I'm sure 2021 is the year we'll all get out to enjoy them
Brilliant vlog mate 🏴👍👍😎
Great choice of coffee in the van! 👍
Great vlog, very entertaining, love the humour . I didn’t realise I would learn so much about decking , lentils and flasks !
Keep em coming 😂
Haha inadvertently I also built decking at the same time as about 10 other van UA-camrs 🤣

Did the same this weekend, so needed to get out, no shops, no stops off, parked in the woods, went for a walk then had a cuppa, spot on 👍
I don't see any harm in it mate, good for you for getting out, its good for the head. ;)
Great walk you took us on there Kniw how you feel, just dying to get out there and DIY is the order of the day...er....months and beer, and a wee dram if course, cheers! 🥃
Absolutely, although a "wee dram" has now turned in to a "massive keg" 🤣🤣

Nice to get out I did the same after watching.☺
Great vid m8. Enjoyed it. On the subject of the gas bottle. Butane is temperamental below 5°c so it seems like the bottle is empty. .
Stay safe
Thanks for the info matey!

Haha isn't Knottingley the wilderness 🤣🤣! I have spent many a good evening in Knottingley (about 20 years ago now though)
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures i ride my mtb down the canal towards ferrybridge, the place looks really nice from the canal view.

Hi Colin what the name of music on drive home great video as always
Check your gas bottle again. There’s a good chance it was frozen, especially the Butane in blue bottles.
You need to get Vankraft folding seat bracket to make it easier to climb in back 😁 plus makes seat much comfier for family.
Another good video till you can get away in van.
Its on the list bud, as soon as I start working again I'm buying one!
Exp for a bracket but is’nt most things for our V’dubs. Great addition though & much comfier on long drives
There are a few on Ebay at the moment at about £40 - £80. Worth a look.
Hi m8. Decking looks great. Are those treated boards? If so please don't burn them as firewood. They are full of harmful chemicals.
Gisburn Forest is always a good place to get away from it all.
100% I love it there, especially on my mountain bike on the trails!
Are you parked by an alliance healthcare van? That’s the company I work for down in Cardiff lol
What’s your rear facing camera in your van called looks mint and is it any good

Agreed, but it will calm down again... fortunately I can go on a Wednesday at 9am when everyone else is off to work 🤣

100% it won't be long before we get our rightful spaces back from Mr & Mrs Bennidorm 🤣! They like their bingo and English food abroad too much 🤣🤣
Hi Colin quick question... Where did you get your toilet cover/seat please?? Matthew
Hiya mate, I got it from Amazon but their shop link has gone and I can't find them anywhere at the moment...
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures ok thanks Colin. Keep the videos coming.
