Is it possible to turn off the display completely while driving? Thanks!
I was considering a Duster but not if there's a version without TFT screen to replace the analogue clocks ? hate the way all cars shove screens in your face, for media and nav it's ok but shouldn't replace dedicated buttons and knobs for radio and climate and absolutely hate TFT for speedo.
It's running a version of HERE Navigation (not Google Maps)

I ordered the Journey with LPG and asked myself will i see info about the lpg level on the screen or not? And second question is there a usb port in this system for usb with your own music?

I just came back from the garage and i ordered the Journey aswel, i wonder if the map still have the screen lag like in this video after several updates
Any info if the digital display will come to the Sandero model from July on, since the new safety standards will be mandatory? It would be a nice little upgrade.

Digital display should be only optional in my opinion, I don't like them, for media and nav sure but not to replace speedo, rev, fuel and temp I love analogue and to me it makes a car look like a car .I especially hate when climate controls are only accessed from a screen.

Dont really like the buttons, feel like they are not distinct enough to blindly press them but i guess its a matter of habit. Maybe if you get used to locations its not that bad.
Given that much more expensive cars remove the buttons completely to cut costs, I think Dacia and Renault are doing a good job with their buttons.

@@sebastianstoica578 Volkswagen are bringing back buttons, not sure when but they admitted their current approach was not good, I have an ID3 and hate it so much I want to burn it to get the insurance and because it's lost half it's value after 2.5 years lol. Never again EV and this is my 3rd and there are other reasons I won't get into now.
I'm sure VW will still make the big screen the focal point in their cars but buttons will become more common going forward, I especially hate screens replacing proper climate and radio controls and the analogue clocks.
Mobile phone use is illegal now in many countries yet people can use their cars infotainment screen all day long it defies logic !
I drive a VW id3 with no buttons or knobs, everything done via the screen and it's a disaster, so many complaints that VW admitted their current approach was the wrong one and will bring back steering buttons and hopefully others like proper climate controls.
I don't like going through menus to do simple things as it takes my eyes off the road for far longer than I should.
I love analogue clocks for the dash too and hate TFT replacing speedo and rev, fuel, temp etc. Screens should be optional in my opinion.
If you do get a car that has much functions in the screen make sure and spend the time to play around with it because getting used to it is frustrating because it means you're stuck with it and have no choice. I regretted my decision to buy a car like this and an expensive Electric car that depreciate so much in 2.5 years, never again and for other reasons too.

360 camera is highly desirable. Resolution doesn't matter at this price point as long as it works.
Two questions:
- any idea if the underside of this vehicle covered to protect from road derbies? I've noticed this under Toyota and Mazda. Most of is covered
- How does interior feel like? and would steering wheel covering wear out with time?
Dacia Duster and Renault Arkana are in my short list for their ground clearance. Toyota Yaris cross is another option but it is in third position.
