bumpers are used to learn bowling for first timers then after few bowling runs they use the bumpers less and less it also depends on the weight of the ball you use to.
Bumpers are fine if you know you are genuinely not good at bowling, or have issues with like hands/wrists. My high school was fun because once you were in 10th grade and beyond you had electives for PE(gym class) and one option was we went to the local bowling alley.(we had to pay 5 bucks but we got like a school/student bulk group rate) Sad thing as you couldn't pick the same 'elective' two semesters in a row, but they had other fun stuff. Also with Lava lamps it was that people would crack em open and drink the 'lava' which was toxic. but the coils would also cause fire hazards and they would sometimes overheat and burst.
Jerry I have an idea to solve the bombers problem. Challenge Cappy to a bowling video, you use bumpers and he doesn't. If cappy wins without bumpers then he is correct and vice versa. Bumpers are superior!!
Bumpers are quite fun since during childhood. Like how are you supposed to bowl stuff when you do some sick stunts when you release the bowling ball. Plus,it is a safety net for people doing those stunts when they slip on the bowling paths floor. To be honest, bumpers should not be ban because it is for entertainment purposes. I mean competition will allow banning bumpers, but casual what’s wrong with that 😂😂lol
Ya, bumpers are only for those children who are learning to bowl. They have their place for sure, but ... a normal person over 14 shouldn't even bother with bumpers still. This is of course excluding when you share a lane with kiddos, but that point you should just rent the kiddos one lane & you another. X}
Once your age hits 2 digits(10) you need to either learn how to deal w the failure of gutterballs or stop bowling. There are special circumstances where its acceptable eg special needs or too old to be able to properly bowl

bumpers are great, cause as long as they don't break, you can throw a bowling ball as hard as you can at the numbers and they will roll in a diagonal
