If people think success equals money and business, that's unfortunate. Shay and Colette seemed a lot happier back when they first started out on UA-cam while living on food stamps. Even after selling Maker to Disney, moving to the biggest house they've ever had and never having to work a regular job again, they both had a rough 2016 and Shay said he's dealing with depression. That puts a lot into perspective not just for their kids, but for their viewers as well. :)

how come shay barely vlogs now ? not gonna lie, i was one of the few who thought he was kinda annoying with his vlogging style at times..... but now i miss him vlogging :( lol
because he just skis all the time.. I mean, if I had the ability to (with free time, snow, and if I knew how to ski) I would too, but vlogging seems to be difficult while skiing.

i live in wisconsin so i also have the bad watermelon in the winter problem but what i like to do to solve it is buy one cut off the top and pour in some juice and let it sit in fridge over night sweetens it up : ) and if your an adult add vodka

Shay, I have been reading a lot about stress management, and I am sure you have been told this/know this already but sometimes it helps to hear from others... Being attached to the internet, your phone, and in your case your camera has/will have a negative relationship with your ability to de-stress. This time, and transition must be tough for you. It is obvious in your videos that you have nearly given up on vlogs (and that is OK). The time you want to take off is super important to you and your family as well. I can't imagine the amount of stress you are under, but with that said, you are so close to a much needed vacation. Push through, your viewers appreciate all that you have done and your time off is well deserved. Thank you for all you do. Best.
