4:46 it makes my HEAD want to explode went someone tells someone “your only ___ because of trauma” LIKE? Even if it is true IT SHOULDNT MATTER? There happy with themselves so who cares whether or not it’s because of trauma or not
One time I got into a romantic relationship with someone.. and promptly forgot about it for a month and half.. only remembering when the guy said ‘hey, I don’t think is working out’.. I felt really bad o.o, that was also the only relationship I’ve ever been in. (Early signs of been aro I guess .-. xD) Great videos/video compilation btw! Loved all of them!
feeling exactly the same about guys and girls and deciding you must be bi is a very common aroace experience i fear. helps that i personally straight up did not see a difference because autism but you don't have to be autistic to forget that 2 x 0 = 0
Never quite got the "what's you're type question" since I'm pretty sure all humans have pretty much the same level of bullet resistance without added protection ("Soft Target" on the NATO armour rating system). Then again I remember mentioning to someone (who didn't know I was autistic) that I just didn't see the point in dating and they responded "I wish I had your level of morals" which seemed kind of supportive in a somewhat strange way but the intent was good so its okay.
@@RobinRaye-np3vw Thanks for understanding, granted dating has gotten a bit of a bad rep in some quarters, as a shallow and materialistic social ritual (as one person described it to me "treating relationships like Disneyland") with there being more of a norm around making friends then progressing to romance once you all know each other and each other's families then when that's all good settling down in a house together and marrying if you like. So I don't know if they has a dating conception like that but I see what you mean about it being cause for inquiry since it might suggest an issue of the cultural lens.
So, like some others finding they’re ace, I thought that having/wanting to do it for pleasure was just a joke.. and when I learned about Asexuality, well uh.. I thought it was also part of the joke… yep, I thought that Asexuality was ‘part of the joke’ of pleasuring and wanting it.. then i continued my research and I was slowly like “….. oh… ohh…, it’s starting to make sense..”
6:18 except I do dress like one . . . My outfit color scheme, whenever I can, is the ace flag (mostly cuz I like that color scheme more than the aro or aroace flags)
Definitely some style points in my opinion, but the important thing is how it feels for you! If it brings you joy, empowerment, and validation, then it’s perfect!
I have been proudly romance and sex repulsed since I was 3, which i've come to realize is actually kinda rare in the community. Even before I knew what aro or ace was, I was very anti getting in any kind of romantic and/or sexual relationship. Like immediate ew as soon as it was brought up. And if no one else ahared that experience with me, then I'd be the first to never feel attraction. I did have my weird "Am I bi because being ew to everyone has to be the same as I love everyone equally?" tho
7:45 what's that song? i know that i know that song but i just can't recall it and that annoys me Edit: OMFG it came to me... jeeeesus it's even a memesong how did i forget it?
This video series sums up my romantic and seggsual life... I actually thought I was pansexual because I didn't care about men or women. I always thought they were all equally unattractive.
I recently told a friend that I haven’t seen in a while how I don’t care much about romance or sex (it was brought up through the topic she introduced) and she basically said “Yeah, you’ll find someone eventually.” And kinda laughed when I told her that I’m a virgin… 🫡
I thought I was pansexual, then I realized I was ace, then I thought I was ace and panromantic and uh… the pattern followed.

Like, in what other scenario would it make sense to say that? It's like saying "Y'know, you're only a paraplegic because of trauma..." Uh, okay, and?
I am an aromantic person who plays the saxaphone, which is the "romantic" instrument, I personally just think it's funny
"i can change that" blocked. blocked. blocked. you're all blocked. none of you are free of sin
i'm very happy and comfortably aroace, thank you
it found me, i can no longer hide.

I don't want this to sound bad, but you made me feel better about how I handled my romantic relationships 😂
I'm 99.99% sure im AceAro, but Optimus Prime got me questioning it 🤣
LMAO GOOD FOR YOU BRO🤣🤣

3:28 “FUCK!” I scream before spontaneously combusting on the spot
I once saw someone wearing a black ring on their middle finger and had to explain that I thought they were ace because I assumed wrong.
2:36 TODD!!!!

Lol maybe the person you were talking to was a good person but in my opinion anyone who tries to find moral objections to dating is kinda sus

2:21 THIS!!!
Maybe there is someone out there for you. And their also AroAce! And they want you to come over to binge watch Lord of the rings.
These are golden
🤣 I love all of these! The Catholic ones are especially relatable. Glad to see I’m not the only Catholic aroace! ♥

That first one is so accurate xD
1:06 I was SO surprised when I learned that
Going to be a marathon for me to watch
9:54 gave me a good laugh. It also almost made me cry, but it do be too realistic for comfort 🥲
This is one of the reasons why I wanted to find aspec community when I moved to a new city. I knew I'd be needing a roomie or two 👀
3:34, don’t make me choose. I may not be bisexual but I definitely inherited a bisexual’s indecision from my mother
Lmao
3:34 this was a really hard one, but could I have a bigg garlic bread in the size and shape of a cake?
4:10 that joke was/is GREAT
3:28 Space. Easy.
Pretty sure I’m aroace.
I was 15 when I learned that people could experience crushes without s-xual attraction 💀
I’ve never had one so I didn’t know 😅
6:18 except I do dress like one . . . My outfit color scheme, whenever I can, is the ace flag (mostly cuz I like that color scheme more than the aro or aroace flags)
I'm not a tiktok guy so I didn't undertood but I was like "who is this Patrick person and why is them so relatable?"
I've went into the links of the channel and now I follow you on instagram
So relatable that now I'm im superquestioning my aroness (currently asexual noromance denomitation)
Love that you included chipi chipi chapa chapa dubi dubi daba daba, viva Chile :)
Thanks so much! Pleasure to meet you!
These tiktoks made me turn my chair
I think i just realized most people I had crushes on was just me wanting to be their friend, im so so so confused if im ace and pan or aroace
0:33 does it count doubly or half as much if it's a purple and black ring?

I love that)
The hardest part of being ace is head annoying every single character in a series as ace until proven otherwise
