If this had any reality - if the actors and the director believed in this story - it'd be great, but the storytelling is SO lazy. 'It's only for kids, so we don't need to work too hard'
You have to look at it from the perspective of the studio owners to understand why it crap... They care about profit not art. The actors and directors have to work within the shoe-string budget and make trade-offs
