Squid Sisters - Now or Never! Music Video

- My own take for a music video for the Squid Sister's version of "Now or Never!". This is the second of seven videos I plan on making covering the Squid Sister songs from the first Splatoon.
I got really lucky and was actually able to get my own gameplay footage of a splatfest version of a stage and it actually played the Squid Sisters version of Now or Never! Yes it was thorough someone hacking and online lobby but I'll take it considering by the time I first played this game, splatfests were over for quite some time. (Yes I know Pretendo is a thing and will definitely take advantage of it once the official servers are down for good) Getting this footage gave me motivation to actually start on this and finish it. At the time of me typing this description, I ran into the battle about 24 hours ago, shot all the scenes needed, and edited it together in a little over 6 hours time. Definitely a lot faster than my "Ink Me Up" video
After making my "Tomorrows Nostalgia Today" music video I wanted to initially film and edit videos in a similar style for all of the the Squid Sister performances from the first game that you can access through their amiibo. After scouring the internet for over two weeks at the time to find any kind of camera mod for the first game, I came out empty handed. So I made do with what I had with the games built in first person cam and zoom feature to create a music video that is the closest I can get to my vision for now. The end result is something I am proud of and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Also for this video I tried to experiment with some alpha blending for scenes with the squid sisters overtop game play footage to see if I could make it look nice and I think I can make it work for a couple of future videos in mind.

TBH I've had that video mostly completed since August. It mainly needed a proper intro, that and also wanted to have a video for Tide Goes Out done before I released it. You'll get both at some point.

Great music video what splat fest from splatoon 1 did you get the footage from
Footage of callie and marie was just from the amiibos. The game footage was my own with some random hacker in the lobby that made us play on the splatfest version of hammerhead bridge. That match was my motivation to get this video done.

@@dosneygaming In the first game the Callie and Marie amiibo will give you access to their songs and they'll perform their songs on the Splatfest trucks in the plaza much like how they perform "City of Color" during a Splatfest in the plaza currently in Splat 3. Each of their songs has different choreography and you gain access to one or their solo songs depending on who you scan; (Callie's is Bomb Rush Blush and Marie's is Tide Goes Out).
