She never looked happy with Gavin. It kinda looked like an act. When you see her with Blake she’s smiling ear to ear or laughing at something. It’s so easy to see their true love. She and Blake were made for each other, differences and all. They’re a beautiful couple and I wish them a lifetime of joy & happiness.
I felt that way too.
Everyone deserves to be happy.. though, personally, lost a lot a ton of respect both for her and Blake. He cheated on Miranda. That’s is manipulative narcissistic behavior right there.. She doesn’t even care for her 3 children. They live with her ex-husband.
@@emmam9331 That's not true, they have 50-50 custody, except when Gavin has tour, or going to family matters for months in UK, or during pandemic, Gwen get them more, but she never ever gave her 50% away for Gavin. And Blake was cheated on, not the other way around, pretty well known.

You’re right. She’s not a country singer. She’s a worldwide icon who has had hits in just about every genre- pop, rock, alternative, hip hop, ska/reggae, and yes country too now with Blake. The only reason she did those country songs is because Blake wanted his future wife to sing them with him. Nobody But You was written for them and is about them. Are you also telling Pink she can’t do country or any of the many other pop singers now doing collaborations with country artists? Are you telling Maren Morris, Sam Hunt, Gabby Barrett, etc how dare their songs be on pop radio ?? The country music industry is actually pushing these crossovers to reach a bigger audience.
Needs to drop the word like. She has the vocabulary of a 12 year old.

@@ReneedeBruin I really like Don't Speak. Used to Love You just sucks. Divorcing with three children is no excuse to make terrible musak. . . or maybe it is. I don't know. Very often pain is a cruicible for good song writing. I don't think we should grow backwards. Just because we are older doesn't mean we can't still grow and learn and still be creative. The Stones are ancient, but I really like Mic Jager's latest about the pandemic (Living in a Ghost Town). I wonder, did Mic J. every have any children?
@@ReneedeBruin Yeah, fine. But why did the creative musical juice get totally sucked out of her? Ok. Maybe it was the quality of the people she worked with, but the contrast between Used to Love You and Don't Speak is EXTREME. Used to Love You is nauseous boring elevator musak. Don't Speak has verve a great title and you can dance to it. Used to Love You is boring from the title to musak rest of it. What happened? Why did her soul creativity totally capsize? Personal mystery, I guess. We will never know unless Gwen has a secret autobiography that she orders published after her death. I will probably be dead by then, so I am not holding my breath, but I do wonder why artists so completely lose it sometimes. OK. Here's theory. Female artists have more trouble keeping their band and that sometimes effects creativite output. Jack White lost Meg and that made him less creative. Fleetwood Mac-- heyday then gone. On the other hand, Chris Cornell had no problem working with different people but merely offed hmself after 50.

Don’t speak is one of the absolute classic break up songs. That kind of magic in a bottle only happens once in a lifetime for most artists and some never have that kind of hit. You are obviously using these comments to try to put Gwen down because she doesn’t want to be in a band anymore. That’s her right. Most bands don’t last- too much compromise and too many moving parts. Even the Beatles didn’t last. Doesn’t make them any less iconic. Gwen is a creative person. Her music is her outlet. Like all creative people, there are hits and misses, things that resonate with others, and things that are more personal. Used to Love You is not an iconic hit like Don’t Speak, but it is a good song that resonated with many, many people who could relate. Gwen even said it’s the first time in 25 years a record label has ever told her that they thought she wrote a hit song. We get it. You don’t like the song. You prefer bands and No Doubt. It is your opinion, but that doesn’t make it a universal truth.
She uses LIKE way to much. It's hard to listen to her. She is amazing but I cant listen. Hurts my ears.
