We have had Penny for about 3 years and she has been an absolute joy! She rings the bell on the door when it’s time to go outside. She loves playing keepaway outside with the soft rubber soccer-like ball. She knows the difference between “get your ball” and “get your toy”, which is any “non-ball” toy, which she then grabs in her mouth, wiggles it furryously, then plops it on the floor, and expects me to kick it. She taught this game to herself!!! And she is a fast runner!!
My babygirl, Ellie, is a cavapoo! She has curly poodle hair. She honestly looks exactly like a poodle, except for her ears. Her ears are super long like a cavalier! She is the sweetest little girl on earth! I have mental illness and anytime I have a panic attack or cry, she is right there to lick my face and calm me down! She is a gift from God!
We had a131/2 year old Cavapoo we had to put down on Aug. 13th. We miss her so much. She was the best dog! She was a really unique one. We taught her to high five us and several other tricks. She was so smart, She could just about talk to us. The sweetest thing she'd do would be run to up us & give us a hug! Honestly that is the hardest thing we've missed. You won't be disappointed if you ever get a cavapoo. They are a precious dog.
I loved my Cockapoo! She was 18 1/2 when we finally had to let her cross over the Rainbow Bridge. I would never hesitate to get another one. They are the best!
@@janiceforstot255 Mine was only about 12" or less at the shoulder. She weighed about 14 lbs. But it really depends on the size of the poodle they use for breeding. So they can come in different sizes. As far as I know they usually breed a female Cocker Spaniel with a male poodle.
I had 2 Cockapoos and they were absolutely so smart and loving. They are by far the best experience we have had in life. They are my pick for sure. Great video!
I have 2 male Cockapoo’s called Wally and George and they are the loves of my life. I am on my own and took early retirement from nursing so I have spent a great deal of pleasurable time in training them. I can clean their eyes, ears, teeth without any fuss, they just sit there. When I am going to brush them, I sit on the floor with my legs open (sounds a bit rude, I know) then one of them immediately comes and plonks his self self down to be brushed. As soon as he is done and gets up, the other one comes straight over for his turn, without any call from me. It seems that they love being brushed.People are always commenting to me about how gorgeous they are and how well trained they are. I am a as mad as a hatter because I talk to them all day long, I just chat away, I also do it when we are out on a walk.......... I am sure people must think that I have a screw loose. I am very proud of my boys and I don’t know what I would do without them. One last thing ............ I call them my little Cockadoodles 🐶🐶❤️
That is so wonderful for your retirement time..im looking/thinking about what kind to get. I had an English Bulldog for almost 9yrs she passed 14mos ago. I miss her but I think its time. No one will ever replace her..but I miss having a dog.
Cockerpoo! I had one years ago and people who didn’t like dogs, just loved my pup. I’ve not gotten another because I’m afraid that I’d expect it to be like my first, who was so very smart and caring. He was his mother’s only puppy and he was born on Christmas Day. He was very special! I still miss him. 😊❤️
Lilli our Cavapoo joined the family 4 days ago. She is an amazing little dog. She has settled into the family right off the bat, not mess on a night, no real drama at bed times. Love to play, but also happy setting down for a cuddle. My only regrets we should have got one sooner.
I'm getting a cockapoo at the end of July, your video helped me choose as I live on my own, I think my cockapoo will keep me company & make me more out going, my family don't agree because I had my elderly staffy pts a couple of weeks ago, as she was passing over she licked my face, I know she's now a healthy spirit enjoying her life to the fullest. If my family don't visit at least I'll have a friend for quite some time, I'm 64 with anxiety and depression, so we can learn together.
I have an 11 year old Cavapoo who is my heart. Rescued him from a shelter when he was1-2 years old and he has been THE best dog ever! Even friends who are "cat people" LOVE my Cavapoo! Adopted a Cockapoo a year ago as a puppy. She needed to be rehomed at 15 weeks old. I know, young! She has been a handful (like any puppy) but sweet and fun! She is smart and has captured our hearts as well! I will say she likes to play fetch with sticks and balls where as my Cavapoo only plays fetch indoors with some stuffed toys. He seems oblivious to balls and sticks. He is a true companion and friend who wants to be with his person. They both love walks and cuddle time! Two great breeds I'd definitely adopt again!
Having done some serious research to decide whether to have a cocapoo or cavapoo puppy i have made my decision its going to be a CAVAPOO puppy . Having decided on a small loving but active dog, the Cavapoo fits the bill. Very informative, definitely helped me to make a decision.
We have a 4 year old black and white cavapoo, she’s a dream dog in every way, and is a fully trained therapy dog for visiting care homes hospitals ect so gentle and loving
@@janiceforstot255 specifically their breeds are different, Poodle and Cocker Spaniel mix vs. Poodle and King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mix. Cavapoos tend to be a little smaller, in my experience Cockapoos have much softer hair. Both are similar in terms of energy, playfulness, and training ability.

My cockapoo turned 15 on Jan 15th, 2023. She still runs and plays. She was potty trained in 12 hours? Has had very few accidents in house that weren't medicine related (two) and has never shown signs of aggression either. She doesn't run away, bite, lick, jump up on people, steal food, get on furniture until told yes, chew/destroy stuff, or bark. She has general anxiety which is solved with a $13 inflatable recovery donut. My friends tell me I am the luckiest person ever to have a pretty much perfect dog. I'll never get any other breed than a cockapoo because she is truly an angel with four legs.

I’ll have both, thanks! 😹 We grew up with 2 hybrids growing up, a Poo-huahua & a Cockapoo. Our Cockapoo was a very sweet, docile dog! He got along great with one of our kitties too.
Our cavapoo is 11 weeks and we’ve had him 2+ weeks. He is very hyper and difficult to potty train. Sleeps good all night and does business outside, but then comes back in house and often pees or poops again. We’re an older senior couple and this doggy is more for younger people I think. We were told cavapoos are great dogs for seniors, and research said same thing, so we had no clue ours would be so hard to potty train. We’ve had cocker, Samoyed, bichon frise, papillon mix, and all were potty trained within a week.
Get a pooch bell, put it at the front door, take your dogs paws and ring the bell ever time u take him/her out. With consistency, your baby should be trained within weeks. Always reward with praise and treats for outside potty. For indoor potty, scold them, ring the bell, and take them outside immediately. Then bring them in and give them some crate time.
@@Bportboyz thanks. Have been using the bell when taking him outside, but now I’ll start taking him right outside after an inside accident and then crating him for short time. Baby steps, but we’ll get there.
Before cockerpoos became designer dogs, we had a cocker, beagle, and poodle mix. His mom was cocker and beagle and his father was all poodle. He had the hair of the grey poodle, the ears of the beagle and the big brown eyes of the cocker spaniel. People would ask what kind of poodle he was. He was easy to train, I got him at 5 weeks. He was the only puppy his mother had and he was born on Christmas Day. People who didn’t like dogs, for some reason, really loved him. I always felt like God sent him to me for a reason. He was so very special. He crossed over the rainbow bridge many, many years ago and it’s only now that I want another dog. I know I’ll never have another him but I do want a poodle mix. 😊♥️
While some of this information is true it does not apply to all cockapoo or cavapoos, They can be any size from very small to extremely large, and the same for weight. Some are shy, some social. There are many purebred dogs that are best for allergy sufferers, and you will know what you are getting before they grow up. Both these hybrids are both high maintenance crossbreds in regards to grooming and may not have a hypoallergic coat. The best cavapoos traits come from the poodle and you can groom a poodle to look like a cavapoo or cockapoo. You may purchase one of these dogs and find that they shed. There is no guarantee to the type of cavapoo or cockapoo you will get. Some have straight hair and others the poodle type coat. On top of that you get hereditary problems from both breeds and normally breeders of the cavapoo or cockapoo just put two dogs together without genetic testing of the parents. Purebred dog breeders test before they breed to ensure the healthiest litter possible. Yes you will normally have to put your name down on list to receive a puppy from a purebred dog breeder, while the cavapoo/cockapoo breeders always seem to have puppies available at outrageous prices. I am a dog groomer and have seen thousands of these cross breeds, and there is no guarantee of what the dog will look like, when someone books in a cavapoo/cockapoo.
Kind of like booking a new groomer. There is no guarantee what your dog will look like when you pick them up. And I'm sorry but you can't groom a poodle to look like either of these dogs. These dogs are MUCH cuter than poodles which is one reason they are so popular. I groom my Cockapoo at home because of all the negativity about the breed that I read from groomers online. I don't trust dog groomers to treat my dog well.

Just to note. My Larrabee is a Cavapoo who is part Standard poo and King Charles, so he's 30lbs and 19inch his length is long with a tiny head. He looks more like the King Charles but with long Poo legs and wavy hair. So don't forget the biggest ones.
We have a cavapoo and love her. She is 1.5 yr old. She was 6 months when we got her. I think she was mistreated and she is still scared of most people especially men. Will I be able to get her over that fear?
We have a Cavapoo who is very unusual he is tri colored .he is a constant joy, loves everyone and other dogs. Shows no fear of big dogs. He has very curly poodle hair but with a Cavaliers face and ears. Very intelligent and easily bored.A wonderful let for everyone it's like having a live teddy bear!
Would you mind sharing where you got your tri colored pup? We want an unusually colored one, spotted would work also. Were you happy with the breeder? Just breeder info if you are ok with that. Thanks! Elizabeth.
Hahaha. My cockapoo weighs 15kg at 9 months (which is 33 lb) so a lot larger than what you've stated. Mine has a wavy coat, is red and he's gorgeous and lovely. Definitely a velcro dog too. Still wouldn't have him change!

Hi I'm 10 and I am saving up for a caverpoo but my mum is going to ask our landlord so hopefully he says yes but if he says no we are going to look for another house anyway this house I live in is not that good but it's ok
I 've had a cockapoo and dearly loved her. She passed about 10 years ago. I've wanted to get another one but everyone keeps telling me to rescue instead of trying to buy one. I'm at a crossroad.
If you a cockapoo, you should get one. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. I would get one from a reliable breeder though. I wanted a cavapoo really bad and I bought one, had him fixed at 6 month's old
I got a female Cockapoo pup this month, home deliveredto me. I later noticed she had a docked tail....I am very annoyed with the breeder for docking her tail.
Hi!☺️ I have two english cocker spaniels(not the exact breed, but has the caracteristics) and it does help a lot to have a companion,(they are mom and daughter, and the momma is much happier now, the little one is a little fiesty over food tho😂) however, double the dogs, double the trouble. But a bit of training solves the issues.
I have a cockapoo, I leave her around 6 on the morning till 5 in the evening. In 3 years she has only had 3 urine accidents and 4 other ones and they others are usually my fault by letting her eat my leftovers.
I have a cava/cockapoo? ( mum is a cavapoo, dad is a cockapoo) and she is so happy and clever at just 12 weeks she already understands 5 commands. I'm seeing a splash of both spaniel traits in her and her coat is a nice smooth wavy black. Such little personalities'.
We adopted a Cavapoo 4 weeks ago. She's now 14 weeks old puppy and VERY energetic one. We love her and she is the sweetest. Only downside is they have separation anxiety and we have full-time jobs. Luckily my husband works from home.
I’ve had a female cava poi for six years and got her before the prices skyrocketed as a puppy for £950. She is very friendly to humans but hates most other dogs and never wants to play with them.
i’m thinking about getting a Cavapoo AND a Cockapoo, but i want to be as sure as i can before i make the decision! any advice would be greatly appreciated!!😅😝
like with lifespan: it really depends on how healthy the dog is no matter what breed, how well its taken care of by their owners, lastly any mixed or designer dog has a longer life due to 2 or more gene pools from each parent. healthy parents with no issues that that breed has like tendentious, heart diseases that way you can be sure your dog will be very healthy and happy. my bichon brandon is 15 years old he still loves going out for walks, still eats kibble, loves to play and the vets said despite his age hes doing really well no health issues at the moment. just enjoy the years you get to have with them simple as that!! 2nd coat colours and coat types: i could go on and on with this bare with me... cockapoo you can get long curly hair like a cocker, very thick curly coats like a poodle and can come in many many colours not just a single colour because both poodles and cockers have various coat colours, shedding it depends on the coat and parents. cavapoo you can get wavy long hair like a cavalier, long curly hair or dense curls like poodles it depends on the genes in each dog and colours can be many many more than single colours because cavaliers and poodles have many different colours. it just depends on that particular dog and the colours are practically endless you never know what you get.
I'm here just trying to figure out if my newly adopted pound puppy is either one of these cuties! 🤭 Her Big sister is just a few months older and definitely not as laid back! But they are twinning! I’m getting a Cockapoo in 2 weeks! 😁. Watching these kinds of videos makes me even happier!!!

Where do we buy a cava poo
I love the cavapoo ❤😊
I had a Cavapoo, who was smart, sweet and feisty. A lovely dog. Unfortunately she died at 9 years old from cancer ( melanoma) 3 years ago .
I'm so sorry
Thinking of getting a cavapoo, thanks for your information
I’ll have both, thanks! 😹 We grew up with 2 hybrids growing up, a Poo-huahua & a Cockapoo. Our Cockapoo was a very sweet, docile dog! He got along great with one of our kitties too.
I GOT MY THIRD COCKAPOO TWO WEEKS AGO SHE IS AWESOME. THEY ARE SUCH SMART DOGS!
In Australia we call them Cavoodles (cavapoo) and Spoodles (cockapoo).
I’m getting a cavoodle in 9 days and I’m really excited!
@@mdrulezno8580 how is it going so far?!
I love both of them they are so cute
Charlie our cocapoo is 7 mounts and he is so cute I love him so much
I have a cavapoo. He is curly and a big boy! (25lbs) he is smart and a good boy. He just turned 1. I can’t imagine life without him 😢❤❤❤
I have chosen a cavapoo and I will get mine 07.11
They both are darling. I would love a Cavapoo ❤️
Awh thanks I think my cockapoo puppy will be happy when I tell him u said he was cute :)
I have a 9 year old Cavapoo. Best dog I’ve ever had.
I have 3 cockapoos they are the sweetest and so lovable they love everyone they meet , my mother in law wants one but can’t find one she can afford
I have a mini poodle and I l love him so much. His name is Bud named after flower bud.
I had a maltipoo and a pomapoo and they were the sweetest babies!!
I got a Cockapoo but I'd love a Cavapoo too 😍
I have cokapoo I definitely recommend it it my best friend
I want both,they look,like a cuddley,teddy bear, I love them both,hugs fm New Zealand
Pray this prayer to be saved plz, Dear God I know I am a sinner but I believe Jesus died for my sins, I repent of my sins, I accept Jesus as my personal lord and savior in Jesus name AMEN!!
Are they near New Zealand, the end of this earth
Hope to breed my female cockapoo next spring...she’s so sweet. My second cockapoo.
Both pretty puppies❤ either one would be my love!
Pray this prayer to be saved plz, Dear God I know I am a sinner but I believe Jesus died for my sins, I repent of my sins, I accept Jesus as my personal lord and savior in Jesus name AMEN!!
Cockapoo has 3 different sizes mini medium large
I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I would love to have a Cavapoo
Hi I'm 10 and I am saving up for a caverpoo but my mum is going to ask our landlord so hopefully he says yes but if he says no we are going to look for another house anyway this house I live in is not that good but it's ok
I really like the cavapoo a lot. Where can I see them to get a puppy or who can I phone to make an arrangement to see the puppies
You can find a reliable breeder online. Look at the reviews that other people had to say about their experience
Also try shelters. I’ve got both my dogs-Yorkie Russell and Cockapoo off Gumtree.
I have a cockepoo they are amazing the cavapoo are also already amazing
I am thinking of getting two Cavapoo by Spring 2021, they can keep each other company when I’m out of the house.
Don’t get puppies if they’re going to be home alone majority of the day
@@ThatboySharnz They won’t be I have a sister that lives close and kids in the neighborhood to puppy sit if need be. Thanks.

I have a cockapoo!!❤ he is my world! He is white with Tanish markings and is pretty much just like these dogs. I love my cockapoo!❤
THANKS FOR GOOD INFOMATION
I 've had a cockapoo and dearly loved her. She passed about 10 years ago. I've wanted to get another one but everyone keeps telling me to rescue instead of trying to buy one. I'm at a crossroad.
You do what makes you happy
If you a cockapoo, you should get one. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. I would get one from a reliable breeder though. I wanted a cavapoo really bad and I bought one, had him fixed at 6 month's old
Which of them barks more? Can we train them to bark less? I am not against it but its easier to chose.
In kellyvill petstore I always see a cavapoo it says cavooldle and they a so playfull in other dogs!
I got a female Cockapoo pup this month, home deliveredto me. I later noticed she had a docked tail....I am very annoyed with the breeder for docking her tail.
They're both so cute
my mom and dad said they will think about think about getting a cavapoo in a few months! but I think cockapoos are really cute to tho!
I have a cockapoo n theyre the best dogs in the world. Theyre wild tho haha
I am leaning toward a CAA pool and and a coo kapok. Are they hard to hind as roughly same age pups from a single breeder.
We have a Cocker Spaniel and she’s the best dog we’ve ever had
Question about these breeds. If they need to be left alone (got to go to work), can having a companion dog address the separation anxiety?
Good question...I would love to know the answer to this as well
Hi!☺️
I have two english cocker spaniels(not the exact breed, but has the caracteristics) and it does help a lot to have a companion,(they are mom and daughter, and the momma is much happier now, the little one is a little fiesty over food tho😂) however, double the dogs, double the trouble. But a bit of training solves the issues.
I have a cockapoo, I leave her around 6 on the morning till 5 in the evening. In 3 years she has only had 3 urine accidents and 4 other ones and they others are usually my fault by letting her eat my leftovers.
Saving money for Cavapoo 😊
I have a cava/cockapoo? ( mum is a cavapoo, dad is a cockapoo) and she is so happy and clever at just 12 weeks she already understands 5 commands. I'm seeing a splash of both spaniel traits in her and her coat is a nice smooth wavy black. Such little personalities'.
I have a 3 month old boy cockapoo, love him to pieces, I still can't tell the breeds apart.
They sooo cute.👍💖😀🐩🐩
I have a cavapoo and he is my hero
We adopted a Cavapoo 4 weeks ago. She's now 14 weeks old puppy and VERY energetic one. We love her and she is the sweetest. Only downside is they have separation anxiety and we have full-time jobs. Luckily my husband works from home.
I’ve had a female cava poi for six years and got her before the prices skyrocketed as a puppy for £950. She is very friendly to humans but hates most other dogs and never wants to play with them.
Awwwww😮 I want one or two .
Is there a tea cup cavapoo ?
I've got a boy cockapoo called sherlock. Genuinely my best friend ❤️
i’m thinking about getting a Cavapoo AND a Cockapoo, but i want to be as sure as i can before i make the decision! any advice would be greatly appreciated!!😅😝
like with lifespan: it really depends on how healthy the dog is no matter what breed, how well its taken care of by their owners, lastly any mixed or designer dog has a longer life due to 2 or more gene pools from each parent. healthy parents with no issues that that breed has like tendentious, heart diseases that way you can be sure your dog will be very healthy and happy. my bichon brandon is 15 years old he still loves going out for walks, still eats kibble, loves to play and the vets said despite his age hes doing really well no health issues at the moment. just enjoy the years you get to have with them simple as that!!
Wow. I have a big Cockapoo - she's about 30lbs and she's in perfect shape.
Cockapoo squad ♡
(Btw my dog barks at the window when anything moves LOL)
Lol..mine does too!!
Same here both of mine lol
Is a cavapoo the same as a cavoodle?
I'm here just trying to figure out if my newly adopted pound puppy is either one of these cuties! 🤭 Her Big sister is just a few months older and definitely not as laid back! But they are twinning! ( Havana-Coton mix is Big sister, yet a tad smaller and with smaller ears. ) Let the games begin! ☺️✌️❤️🦋🙏
