@@mardofsz2847 Seems Matt has gotten back into screaming again. There's 3 songs I know of on this album where he screams at least once.
@@robmarshall3396 although I don’t think it’s actual screaming, just a vocal filter that makes it sound like screaming, they’ve used it on quite a few songs I believe
@@jager9022 Pretty sure it's a combination of both, but 100% there is an effect on the mic.

I would love to see this Band live once.
I was not even a fan of this song and then i saw it live at apollo on 9th and it was unbelievable....from the video its hard to pick up how heavy the bass is, and with the strobes etc it was much better live. Once you see this played live you get more of an appreciation for the song for sure!
Once youve seen muse live as a whole really. I didn't like them until I watched them headline leeds about 10 years ago, absolutely blew me away.

Nice drum stick recovery at 3:10. It's the worst losing a stick and trying to get back, but he didn't miss a beat.

i like the single version where matt goes high on know how to WIN before you BEGIN. also did matt do the won't stand down "screaming" part or was it just pre-recorded.
Normally rhe screamings is recorded and maded by chris
He did the screams for sure
@@SugarRevengeRomesus other way around I’m pretty sure. Most “screams” live are done by Chris, Matt does them in the recording. Same with heaps of backing vocals. Chris live, Matt in the studio.
So what tuning is Matt in here? I saw another video of this performance and he’s defiantly on a six string.

Matt did the scream? I always thought it was chris..
I could tell it was Matt even from the little Insta sneak peek clip. It doesn’t sound at all like Chris in the song. Other songs it’s harder to tell, but for WSD you can hear it’s Matt doing the whisper-scream in the recording.
So there we have the proof , Matt actually screams
He’s not actually screaming, he’s just whispering into a mic filtered through a plug-in they use to imitate screams. They’ve been doing it since the “hooooooollllleee” scream at the end of supermassive black hole. The only actual example of any of them actually screaming is very briefly in Deadstar
