Appreciate it Just remember to look around CarMax that’s where I got mine was out in 2 hours , try to avoid the dealerships that try to mark them up use CarGurus as well . You’ll get it fs .
I like your emphasis on credit history & credit. It’s a good wise decision that you waited patiently and made the right decision to not break the bank.
I have been driving a new 23 RT for the last six months. Gas every month is around $200-230, insurance for me is approximately $150, and the monthly bill is around $775. That is a rough estimate of what I pay in Texas. It also depends on your living/job situation etc., if you can afford this car. I’m sure it’s affordable for many, but if you are questioning if you can afford this car, you probably can’t, or you will need to prioritize needs vs wants (which makes it affordable/more comfortable). If you are comparing, personally, a great vehicle and worth it to me! Great vid btw!
True and a lot of people want it new as well which cost more and your monthly payment will be higher plus interest rates or even higher thru credit unions
Thanks for the video Dobey as someone who is 6 months in on credit no late payments and looking to purchase a RT or Scat this video really helps. Congratulations enjoy responsibly. 🙏🏼
If your credit score is not above 720, you'll be paying over $500 with a DP of around 5k for any of these cars. If you really want to see the affordability of this car, consider this; 1. Purchase cost 2. Insurance 3. Monthly kick outs (payment, ins, gas) 4. Maintenance and repair for 5 years. Calculate that and you'll see how much any car will actually cost you.
Yea , the guy at the muffler shop said the way it’s set up there’s no need for a resanator delete And it’s basically already deleted but everyone is saying it’s loud for just a muffler delete
I kind of didn’t I got mine for 32k they wanted damm near 40k not including otd fees like sales tax I went thru navy federal I was approved for 34 k so I just went with a used rt 2019 instead of getting a car I didn’t want
And then I didn’t want to get a newer rt because they are not worth what they are priced at. Because of this when you go and try and trade it in your going to be negative equity unless you make extra payment but , I might trade my rt in in about a year for a scatapck if the prices drop and I won’t be in negative equity because of the car. When I choosed my rt i wanted to get it as close to what the value of the car is worth so when I trade it in I won’t be in negitive equaity.
@@angels1four1 I haven’t checked the prices but if they keep dropping you might be able to get a used scat the main difference will be the insurance tho
I used to work at a restaurant wasn’t getting a lot of hours for the days I had to work , then looked into working at a warehouse where I can get 40 hours guaranteed and overtime I get about 23 an hour and I’m getting my cdl currently
Not knocking him. But my experience having had both. Gas is the exact same. They both require 89 or higher and have the same gas tank. Gas mileage is the exact same. 15 city 30-35 highway with the cylinder deactivation. 25 without. Insurance was also the exact same. Neither safe auto or progressive even asked the just list it as v8 Charger. Both rt and scat. Tires on the car are the exact same scat comes with the same 245 as the rt unless you get the wide body. And they will burn tires at the exact same rate that just depends on how you drive.
Yea , I think it’s just how you drive cuz some people tell me there at the gas station evey other day in there scat and I’m cali I think 91 it’s like 6.50 right now
@@5.7dobey That’s true with any car your mpg will differ with your driving habits. My challenger got worst gas mileage not cause if the motor but because it was a manual. And cruising on the highway it didn’t have the cylinder deactivation like the Charger did.

Good stuff here. Def important to help others understand credit and how to build it. One of the most valuable things to understand in todays society 👍
