Thanks, merry Christmas for you too Yeap, it doesn't like to track small objects.. i didn't test mixing active track with zoom though ;) but in my case I'm afraid to bump onto a tree or public light so i always try to place it higher but I would like to have the horizon on screen also (it gives a better perception of the whole zone) but that would require camera to be even further away..
hey friend soon I will upload a video with new PIDs I think definitive, in any case I have the impression after my flight today that with firmware 1.3.8 they have intervened in the delivery of the thrusters. Today the drone seemed very stable even in the presence of some gusts. Did you also get the same impression?
I didn't notice anything wrong, in terms of jello the image seems to be pretty stable, I didn't see a slight hint of jello in this video, don't know if I was lucky (with the winds) or if they did anything to gimbal software improve it. Usually I notice more the jello effect when drone is coming down quickly that I didn't test this time.. I wonder if jello is just related to some difference on the weight of propellers.. there are some scales that fan mesure a thousandth of a gram that could help to check this. I still think we need some additional image processing alternative algorithms to improve some image processing issues.
I've been flight with this firmware but there are jello in the video. The PID in the gimbal now is not equal to the previous value. Something happened, but I don't know if there are some adjustment in the gimbal software
@@TheGreatExplorer thanks, yesterday I was updating it to newer version 1.3.9 (and one of the things they refer is improved HDR under sun light) but my drone didn't like it and got back to 1.2.6 and now it doesn't show updates available.. just sent an email to Hubsan to see how to solve it.
Thank you for your video. But I don't understand what your are trying with HLOG. It is a flat logarithmic profile not to be diffused ad it. It is necessary to edit it in a good video editor using for example LUT filters to get the colorimetry and video rendition you want.
I was trying to use HLOG because the drone has an issue with image quality in zones where there are dark green leafs/branches and dark green background, and I thought I've seen more details in some previous video tests I've done in HLOG, but maybe that was just because HLOG image tends to have dark areas brighter and it might have fooled my eye. I know HLOG needs color grading in post editing and the editor I use (Shotcut) has something called color grading that lets me adjust color balance in 3 different parameters (shadows, mid tones and highlights) but I don't think I'm able to fully correct colors with just this... But I'm thinking that the problems might come from some sort of temporal noise reduction being done in drone's image processing that may cause the issue.. still looking and testing all new firmware versions with all different ways possible that may affect image processing...
@@MiguelSilvaX I don't think the HLOG is a solution. It's a pro flat mode used to be edited, not to be published as it. I see that you reduce frame rate to 60: this can produce the issue you get: it is better to have a minimum of 100 Mb/s to get good results. Also you reduce contrast. That is also a factor that can produce the issue you get. Try to set the acuity to 6 or 7/10, and try to activate moire suppression. I have done many video tests in my channel. Here is an example of what I got testing firmware version 1.3.5 with ALL the video default parameters: ua-cam.com/video/I2tfLQGPwRE/v-deo.html
@@GorillamansGarage HLOG, as DLOG for DJI, are not necessary for getting good videos. There are professional video "flat logarithmic" modes used to get total control while editing the video.
@@aero-jose I've seen jello effect in your video, but the image quality is very good. My ZMP have a blurred zone in the right of video. Have you done the calibration of IMU and gimbal ?
Hello Miguel, I am in 1.3.7 and despite the verification via my remote control, the possibility of updating the firmware to 1.3.8 does not appear ... Do you know why? Have an excellent New Year's Eve for the transition to the New Year ... which brings you a lot of happiness, excellent health ... and beautiful flights ... Philippe
It happened to me before, i don't know why it doesn't show up on everybody at the same time, maybe they try to control it testing a few group of drones before updating all at the same time (like android updates happen on phones, and in case of a disastrous bug it will only affect a few devices and they can stop and change the update before reaching a big number of people) but, I would check if your app is on latest version too, I think mine is on 2.2.1 and the app should check latest version of firmware available on Hubsan servers but maybe if it can't reach the servers for some reason it won't show the update.. this is one of the things I would like Hunsan to change, we should be able to see online on some Hubsan page what is latest firmware version and download it to phone even before connecting to the drone.
I didn't touch the gimbal PID parameters because I think my drone has always been very steady with very few occasions of visible jello. Maybe the propeller's weight are very balanced and doesn't show the issue.
I think the only new thing is the orbit mode with active tracking but I keep testing all image mode in search for a better image quality and hoping there is an improvement in image processing with a new firmware update...
@@MiguelSilvaX My choices are fixing white balance in manual mode, acuity on 6/10 and I use the moire suppress. All other parameters set to default. Ciao il profilo hlog lo si imposta sul drone o è una modifica che si fa nell' editing...?
