Then you could move the soldier without having to slow time or freeze the gun. I've been doing this on another game (melon playground) and so far it looks pretty realistic, if you can make it so you can't see the cable it would definitely look more cooler. The cable would pretty much act like muscle, also remember to also cable the leg at the back to the upper back of the body so your soldier can stand straight.
