As the local Skylanders fan, there is no Mario in any Skylanders game; however, Bowser and Donkey Kong both appear in Superchargers

5:33 The trapped Toads are actually the question mark blocks you hit and DON'T shatter, aka the ones that give you coins/power-ups. They are not the breakable bricks, though called bricks in the manual. In the manual, it says "If you come across mushrooms who have been turned into bricks or made invisible, they reward you with a power boost," implying it is solely the question mark blocks that are said friends.
also they reward you for freeing them
Some brick blocks also give you rewards without having a question mark on it.

I would've also answered Skylanders and started to second guess myself after Poo said he got it wrong. He probably Googled it and came across Skylanders Fan Wiki which has random fan made character ideas, including multiple Mario ones.

38:20 The Bowser you see in Yoshi's Woolly World is Baby Bowser, which is the actual Bowser when he was a baby, and not Bowser Jr.
Also, Skylanders SuperChargers has both Skylanders for Bowser and Donkey Kong, but not Mario, meaning that that's also a correct answer.
Thank you, Baby Bowser, Bowser Jr., and the Koopa Kids are all completely different characters although they all do look very similar.

Yeah, in about all Yoshi's Island games, you fight Baby Bowser, as it takes place in everyone's infancy. Bowser Jr is the son of current Bowser.

I was surprised how many I got right myself, and would have loved an extended drawing section, because seeing people draw stuff from memory is always hilarious! And also, KIRBS IS 100% RIGHT IN SAYING BOWSER IS IN YOSHI'S WOOLLY WORLD WITH NO MARIO PRESENT! Kamek literally refers to him as "Lord Bowser" or "Young Master Bowser"

@@liammyers1322 Baby bowser and Bowser Junior are tricky. Baby Bowser was initially the adolescent version of Bowser, making his debut in Yoshi’s Island where all the characters from the main series were aged down. Bowser jr on the other hand got his start in Mario Sunshine.
They always shared similarities in design, but Baby Bowser had spikes on his bracelets/collar and a darker orange color palette. He also didn’t have the neckerchief. After Mario Sunshine, the character known as ‘Baby Bowser’ was redesigned to look identical to Bowser Jr (but the character is still referred to as Baby Bowser in games he appears in as opposed to Bowser Jr). Canonically he is still the young version of Bowser. So the question boils down to which is more canon: the actual design or the name that the games refer to him as.
Yoshi’s woolly world specifically refers to him as Baby Bowser. I know, it’s confusing
That last question had another answer that nobody mentioned: Sim City for the SNES. One of the catastrophes in that game is that Bowser can attack your city

Holy crap kirbs looks different from I last saw him. Wish I saw him more in collaborative content like this or what he did back in NRG and not just his super mario maker stuff (while good, is not enough).
I'm just gonna be that guy and say Kirbs was completely right with Yoshi's Wooly World. The final boss of that game is Baby Bowser not Bowser Jr. Baby Bowser is Bowser when he was a baby because the Yoshi games are prequels to the Mario games.

There are the secret paintings of mario, peach, bowser and Yoshi who all appear in sunshine, and there's also the painting of Luigi who I can't even remember if he's in sunshine but I don't think he is
Kirbs deserved an extra point for being right on the Mario Galaxy question.
Poo actually got the second to last question right. Skylanders: SuperChargers and Imaginators have DK and Bowser as playable characters, with no other characters from the Mario series being playable.

It's not about being playable, it's about him being in the game. There's a ton of Mario spinoff games with Mario not being playable, but few where he actually does not appear at all. And in Skylanders he does appear. Same for Luigi's Mansion, which someone did guess and which they did not count because Mario is in the game. So no, he was not right. Mario is in the game.
@@thenonexistinghero pretty sure the only mario character in skylanders were bowser, donkey kong and diddy kong unless there's a mario cameo i'm missing, if i search mario in skylanders i don't find any videos and the fan wiki which they looked at very briefly that consists of ideas made by fans and so it's not real and they all got trolled by the google search algorithm.
@@mrpiccionedivino5598 I did a quick search and it shows that Mario makes a cameo in Skylanders as a teacher. But perhaps not all Skylanders games that Bowser and DK are in.

I'm so happy that Dave is doing some more collabs. I think he reached a point where there's not more Mario Maker enjoyers for him to keep growing.

5:35 i wanna correct this one real quick. The bricks, stone and horsetail plants (Ok that last one idk any examples of) are not actually the bricks you break. It reads in the instruction booklet and i quote "if you come across mushrooms (referring to toads) who have been turned into bricks or made invisible, they reward you by giving you a power boost. (power ups)" so the bricks mario shatters aren't the toads, the bricks that give power ups are and they haven't repeated this plotline ever since SMB1

So the second to last question: "What game does Bowser appear in, but not Mario?" little Kirbs is technically correct since baby Bowser (the main antagonist of the Yoshi series) is an infant version on the Bowser we know. So Kirbs should have been in the tie braker and could have gotten the $20 to display on his wall. I am appalled at cjya and my day is ruined; unsubbed and disliked.
But poo was also right, bowser is in skylanders but not mario, so poo still would have won

The brick blocks with the hidden items are Toads, and the items are the the Toads' reward to Mario for finding them. All this in the SAME manual.
And in Super Mario Bros, the blocks with items can't be broken.
5:38 According to the manual, he doesn't kill them. When a brick block gives him an item, that's the trapped toad thanking him for finding them.
38:30 isnt Yoshi's Story right because in the timeline baby bowser (the final boss) grows up to become "Normal" Bowser as we see in yoshi's island DS and as far as I know theres no refrence to mario in Yoshi's Story

Technically Good Egg Galaxy is the correct with the question, as it appears before the other 3 galaxies but the real first galaxy is Gateway Galaxy but I imagine people don't see the name of the introduction galaxy before unlocking Garden at least, where it can be located in Gate between Garden and Engine Room. It would be similar with which game did cjya beat out of the four he mentioned in that question.

Miyamoto has been going back and forth on it for a while now. He has stated their last name is Mario at times.
